Self-discipline is a muscle you build, not something you're born with. Start small: wake up ten minutes earlier, add a vegetable to one meal. Then increase the challenge each week. These tiny changes compound over months into real transformation.

Self-discipline is a muscle, which means it can get weaker or it can get stronger. If you feel like you suck at going to bed on time or getting up early for your workout or eating the right kinds of foods, you can work that muscle out, and then that muscle can get stronger. The more you practice it, the better you'll get at it. So one thing you can start tomorrow is just by waking up 10 minutes earlier or throwing one fruit or one veggie into the mix of things. You flex the muscle, you work the muscle, you get a little bit better at it. And then guess what? Next week you can use progressive overload by getting up 10 minutes earlier than you did this week and by adding one more fruit and veggie in, and then if you build on that week after week, you'll look back 6 months from now, you'll be a completely new person.
