Cutting out seed oils, taking beef liver supplements, and dropping tons of cash at GNC is keeping you from hitting your goals. Focusing on all of those things first is like someone who's trying to get into cycling. They go buy a $20,000 bike, a $1,000 helmet, a super nice aerodynamic uniform. They're doing stuff that Lance Armstrong would do, and they haven't even rode 20 miles yet. They haven't built their cardio up. They haven't put that time and effort into those workouts. And so they're going to show up on race day, and the guy with the $1,000 bike who's put 1,000 miles on it is going to destroy this guy with the fancy stuff. So moral of the story, guys, the benefits that you will see from all of these fancy supplements are teeny tiny compared to dialing in your nutrition, eating enough carbohydrates, eating enough protein, getting your fruits and vegetables in every day. That's going to be the thousand hours of training that's going to help you outperform anyone who's just focusing on all the fancy stuff.
