Game Changer Public Speaker Bootcamp Announcement

In a live YouTube broadcast, Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences delivers a persuasive announcement for the Central Ohio Game Changer Public Speaker Bootcamp scheduled for July 17 in Columbus. He frames the message as a last‑minute push, reminding viewers that tomorrow is the final day to register. Henderson outlines the target audience—leaders, professionals, and anyone who feels anxiety, wings it, or wants stronger confidence—by sharing real participant comments and testimonials that highlight transformation, confidence gains, and practical tools. He then addresses three common enrollment barriers (price, perceived readiness, and fear), reframing each as an investment, a growth opportunity, and a myth to be busted. Henderson debunks four public‑speaking myths (great speakers are born, extroverts only, nerves mean unpreparedness, and you can learn alone) and emphasizes community support through the National Speakers Association and Black National Speakers Association. He provides concrete logistics (July 17, 9:30 am–4 pm, breakfast/lunch, certificate, ~16 spots left, $499 regular price, $250 bring‑a‑friend offer) and teases a future Atlanta bootcamp. The talk ends with motivational quotes, a “face everything and rise” mantra, and a final urgent call to decide now, positioning the bootcamp as the bridge from information‑gathering to active speaking mastery.

All right, all right, it is on, it is on, we are live. We gonna get right into it. I just got back from doing a workshop earlier, and so I wanted to get on live to, uh, talk about— because it is the day before the last day to enroll in the public speaker— the Game Changer Public Speaker Boot Camp. That I'll be hosting here in Columbus. And we're calling this the Central Ohio Game Changer Public Speaker Bootcamp because I'll tell you at the end, because we about to take this thing on the road and I'll let you in on those details a little bit later on. But I want to give, you know, give you this information and even nudge a few people because I know there's people who have been watching me and just waiting and to see if this is— now's the opportunity. And so we're going to just talk. We just going to talk. Meet me in the comment section. I'll be checking that. And I have my good wife, she'll be checking that as well. But let's get right into it. Tomorrow is the last day to register for the Game Changer, Central Ohio Game Changers Public Speaker Bootcamp. The bootcamp takes place July 17th. And so I wanted to get on here personally because I know somebody is watching this right now and they've been sitting on the fence. And so I want to talk directly to you tonight. Okay. Not the people who have already registered, though I am pumped and proud that you locked in and I can't wait to see you next Friday. But I want to talk to the person who keeps saying Maybe, maybe now, maybe later, maybe I don't know, but let me think about it, right? But tonight we're into that conversation. Give me 15 minutes, like just 15 minutes, and I can almost guarantee you will know exactly the next step that you'll need to take after that. All right, that's the guarantee, right? It's the guarantee. So before, before I even built this boot camp, I asked people, you know, this, this time around, what is, what prompted you to consider registering? And I like to see, and I like to gather that information. And here's what a few people said. One person said, I am a leader, and I speak to crowds. I do not want to wing it anymore. I want grounded tools. Right. I don't know if you've ever felt that way where you, you were, or you wing it and you feel good about winging it, but you know you could do a little bit better. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Another person said public speaking gives me anxiety. So the thought of you standing in front of people or sitting, if you're in an office setting, you're in a staff meeting or team meeting, or you're doing a presentation, the 'the thought of you gives you anxiety.' Here's the thing, still the number one fear is people speaking in public. It's still the number one fear. Like, just the thought, it freezes people up. Someone else said, 'I want to build stronger confidence and learn practical strategies to communicate more effectively.' And my— one of my personal favorites is, 'I have done some speaking and I'm doing more professional speaking. I want to improve my skills and my comfort. Okay, so, so these are multiple different people in multiple different spaces, headspaces, and I call it headspaces, mindspaces, on whether or not or where they want to go in as it relates to speaking. Now let me just ask you something. How many of those just described you? What I just, what I just read off to you, how many of those just described you? And when I asked— and here's the thing— when I asked them, uh, the people who wrote these comments where they most wanted to feel, uh, confident in, and, and some of the things they said: on stage, in presentations, leading teams, in meetings, all of the above, right? And so the people who have been getting into my, my recent boot camps are people across the industries, from lawyers to C-suite leaders, to HR leaders, to social workers. It's been a good mix, career services professionals. And so Uh, this is not a coincidence. This is not a pattern. I mean, this is a pattern, and the pattern tells me that people who need this boot camp the most are the people who already are leading. They're already speaking to a degree. They're already in rooms that matter. And so they want to stop winging it. Like, if that's you, like, if you are ready to say, you know what, Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences, I'm ready to stop winging it, I think we should, I think we should partner. Stay with me, stay with me. And so I always believe in putting, you know, putting the stats in front of you, putting the evidence in front of you, the, you know, the testimonies, because I get feedback after every boot camp, after every session that I do to make sure things are landing. Right. I want to make sure things are landing. Do me a favor. Do me a favor. Share this. Share this live. Go ahead and save it. Love it. Share it. Because I want to give you everything that you need in this moment. We are live, Game Changers. We are live. Let's go. All right, we're going to keep this moving. Going to keep this moving. Susan, so some of the testimonies said, um, because I don't want you to take my word for it, let me tell you what people said after they took, uh, the session. Uh, Damir, uh, Crowder said, and I need you to hear this, it was truly a transformative experience. It It challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone, refine my message, and speak with greater confidence and purpose. I walked away with valuable tools on how to engage an audience, structure a powerful message, and lead with authenticity. And most importantly, it reminded me that my voice has impact, and when used with intentionality, It can inspire change. Wow. That's what one person said. Another person, my good friend Brian Jones, he came through the boot camp. He helped us learn about speaking, practice speaking, and activate it by helping us become speakers. Not just learn, not just practice, become. This is not me saying it. This, this was coming back in the feedback. And then there was, there was this one that really got me. Listen to this, y'all. He kept my focus, which is hard to do with my ADHD. I left feeling so empowered and already eager to work with Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences again. Come on now. Like, she felt this thing. And I remember this participant, this student, this leader, and she was excited. She was locked in, leaned in, and they all were excited and leaned in the entire time. And this is the thing about it. These are responses from just one day, not a semester, not a year-long program, just one Good Friday.. And I asked every single person who attended. Here's the thing. I asked everybody, every person who attended, what was most valuable? And everything said everything, right? It was 100%. Everything was valuable. They asked them, was this educational? Was this engaging? Was this inspiring? Was it interactive? And again, 100% across the board said absolutely Yes. So the question is, why are you still on the outside looking in? Oh, did I just ask that question? Yes. Why are you on the outside looking in? Like, this session, this training, this boot camp, you know, is for you. You know, you are supposed to be speaking up more, whether it's in the office or doing more presentations or desire even to speak on stage, you don't have to look on the outside. You don't have to keep seeing me post things about, hey, the Public Speaker Bootcamp is happening, and then all these pictures come across your feed like, I need to be there. All right, so let's talk about some barriers. Let me tell you what you— what, uh, tell you what I think is happening for some of you right now. And I'm going to say this all with love, like I'm your brother from another mother, Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences Pacific. So I'm gonna say it with love because that's the only way I know how to operate. So some of you are not registered yet because one of these three things. Number one, the money. You say $499 feels like a lot if you say it out loud. I get it. But let me ask you something. How much have you spent this month on things that did not move your life forward? If you want me to ask again, how much have you spent this month on things that did not move your life forward? I know we're at the beginning of July, but think about it. How much have you invested in everything and everyone except for yourself? You see, this is not an expense. This is an investment. This speaker boot camp is an investment. And investments, they have a return. One speaking engagement, one promotion, one contract, one conversation that changes your career What is that worth to you? You know, when I, I do the presentation on, uh, Elevating Your Voice to Elevate Your Impact, and I'm in a room full of professional leaders, um, people who, who desire to speak up more, um, and know that their voice matters, and I ask them the question, what is the cost of you not speaking up? And so I'll ask that those who are watching now, what is the cost because there's a cost. Like, I've been in rooms, I've been in the workplace where I seen people get passed over because they didn't advocate for themselves. And I'll even say, even in my career, along my career, I know personally for sure someone got promoted before I did because they use their voice. And I'm not talking about loud talking, I'm not talking about over-talking, I'm talking about because they advocated for themselves and they got the role. Just think about it, all the times that you missed, all the opportunities you missed to speak up when you had something great to say, when you could have added much value to the meeting or to the presentation. Because there's a cost. It could be a little cost, it could be a big cost, but there's a cost. So one Friday, that's all I'm asking. One Friday to change every Friday that comes after that. You know, it's, it's a whole Friday, like 9:30 to 4 o'clock. Like, I know, I know you're busy. You have things to do. But here's what I need you to hear. You will spend every other Friday of 2026 exactly the same way you are spending them now unless something changes. Let that sink in. All right, all right, all right. Number 3, and this is a real one. You do, you do not think you are ready. You're thinking in your head, you're already talking yourself out of it. I'm not ready. You think you need to get a little better first, or read a book first, or take one more class first. You feel a little more confident, but before you show up, somewhere that is going to build your confidence. You see, that's not wisdom. That is fear in a smart outfit. So you don't— not me. You do not get ready and then show up. You show up and that is what you— what happens when you get ready. You show up and that is what gets you ready. Like, I know, I understand, and we in the session, we'll talk about fear. We'll talk about the little fear, big fear, all fears, because it's real. And I call it false evidence appearing real. How many have ever talked themselves out of something before you even did it? Come on, talk to me. How many have ever talked themselves out of something before you even tried it. Like, for example, like, for example, I use me. Cold calling. Oh man. When I started my business, Live of Life, 10 years ago, I did not want to do any cold calling. Why? Because I had a fear of rejection, fear of the no. Now, had I even called anybody up to that point? No. But what has happened over my years of being in business, or before I went into business, I was in corporate, I was in higher ed, and I would receive those calls, those sales calls, and they say, hey, we would like to talk to you about some type of program. And I'll say, hey, let me put you on hold, or let me send you to my manager. Or let me just put you in the— yeah, out in the space. And so when it came to my turn with starting a business and I have to call, make phone calls, I was fearful because I didn't want to hear no or please hold or let me send you to my manager, send you to somebody, right? But it was false evidence appearing real. And so I had to get over that. And the way I got over that was I turned the acronym, uh, false evidence appearing real to FACE EVERYTHING AND RISE. Put that in the comment section. FACE EVERYTHING AND RISE. Because I wanted to— I have to hit it straight on. I have a business to run. Like, if, if I— if no one knows that I have a business Do I really have a business? Some people say, like, if people— if people don't know that you have a business, you have a hobby. Mm, that's tough. If people don't know that you have a business, you have a hobby. Wow. So, um, yeah. Just think about that. And so, getting back to the story, getting back to this, let's get ready. Now I want to cover some, some myths versus truths. Let's— because I gotta bust some things wide open, and I'm going to go fast, so stay with me. Myth number 1: great speakers are born, not made. Wrong. Every great speaker you have ever admired was trained. They practiced. They were put in rooms that challenged them to become better. Nobody rolled out of the bed ready to command a stage or command a meeting or to lead a team. They built it over time. And here's the thing, you can build it too. One step at a time. Myth number 2: I need to be an extrovert to be a speaker. You see, Martin Luther King Jr. was an introvert. Gandhi was an introvert. Rosa Parks. And guess what? Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences Galactic. Your personality is not your limitation. It is your superpower. Lean into that. Myth number 3: If I get nervous, I am not ready. Wrong. Nervousness is not a red flag. It's actually a green light. It means that you actually care about what you're about to speak about. It means that you that what you have to say matters. You see, the goal is not to eliminate the nerves. The goal is to direct them in the right way. And you better believe, as a professional speaker, I still— and many of my other professional speaker colleagues still— do get nervous before getting on stage. But we have now— and we have, as professional speakers, we have now make sure that we redirect that energy in a positive way so it doesn't wreck us on stage. You see, nervous energy plus a framework equals power. And that'll be in the Public Speaking Bootcamp. Myth number 4: I can figure this out on my own. And here's where I'm going to say something I mean with my whole chest. I'm gonna say it with my chest: if you're doing life alone, you're doing it all wrong. Hey, y'all know that's my— that is my quote. That is my, my life lifestyle quote. If you're doing life alone, you're doing it all wrong. You see, you weren't designed to figure out everything by yourself. You were designed for community, for rooms that push you, for people who believe in what you are capable of before you fully believe in yourself. That's why I'm a part of the National Speakers Association. That is why I'm a part of the Black National Speakers Association, because those are my people. Those are rooms that are full of professional speakers who I admire, who I am always looking at, so I can continue to level up in my own speaking journey. But to be in this room The Game Changer Public Speaker Bootcamp, that's your community. That's what July 17th is about. And see, it is not just a bootcamp, it's a room full of people who showed up for themselves at the same time, and that changes everything. Like, everything. Now, as we bring this to a close, because I went over my 15 minutes, I mean, I'm just excited because it's like the last day before the last day that we are shutting it down. And I don't want you to miss it. So I want to pour into you for a minute, a moment before I close out. And I carry these words everywhere I go. This is one of my quotes I got. And it's so funny. I don't know how I got to this quote, but basically 17 years old, Cedar Point, about to ride the Magnum. And I don't know, I was with a friend, some friends, and This quote came to me. You will never know how great you are unless you are put in a situation that will show your greatness. You know what? I actually know where that came from. That actually came from growing up in, you know, in church and teenage choirs. And I remember there was a time where they would not let me and my friend direct. And we were young. We were young in age, but not at heart. We were eager, we were excited, we were ready to do it, and they wouldn't let us direct, y'all. They wouldn't let us direct. And so what it looked like to us, what we did was we went back to each other's home, we turn on music, and we would practice in our rooms choir directing. And that's where that quote came from. You will never know how great you are unless you're put into a situation that shows your greatness. And so when the time came to display, um, our gifts, it was beautiful, it was wonderful. You see, for you, that's July 17th. Are you going to be in the room when this greatness happens? Because here's the thing, I want to be giving you information, information, information, but in this boot camp, there's gonna be information plus Activation, because last time I checked, information without activation is simply a waste of time, and we don't have time for that in the boot camp. I'm just telling you. So you have been collecting information about public speaking for years, watching videos, reading articles, listening to podcasts. When do you stop learning about it and start becoming it? You see, Eleanor Roosevelt said, you gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. Did y'all hear me? Yeah, that's what happens when you look it in the face. Great things are going to take place. I think I just rhymed right there. You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. So this is your chance to look fear in the face on Friday in a room full of people doing the same thing. You are all on this journey together. Um, my good friend Les Brown said you must be willing to do the things today others won't do in order to have the things tomorrow others won't have. What are you willing to do tomorrow that the version of you from last year was not willing to do? Am I going to say my own? So I'm going to say my own word rant. I'll say it again. You heard it before. If you're doing life alone, you're doing it all wrong. No, do not sit on the sidelines of your own breakthrough. Now, I need to name something that I think is really holding some of you back still, and it's not money, it's not time, it is belief. The belief that says, I am not the kind of person who does things like this. The voice that says, who do you think you are? That quiet doubt that has been riding shotgun in your life for so long you forgot it was not supposed to be there. But let me tell you something about that voice. It's a straight up liar. It has been lying to you every time you almost raised your hand. You almost raised your hand to answer that question. You almost raised your hand to give that that wisdom nugget. And every time you almost said yes, every time you stood at the edge of something that could have changed your life and talked yourself back to safety, that voice does not protect you. It keeps you small. It keeps you comfortable. And at the end of the day, comfort is the enemy of growth. Did you hear me? Like, comfort is the enemy of growth. Because here's the thing. Listen to me, yo brother from another mother, Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences. Your voice matters. Go ahead and say it to yourself. My voice matters. Say, say, my story matters. See, there's rooms you have yet to walk in that are waiting for you. There's people who need to hear your story. Like, they don't need to hear Kenston's story. They need to hear your story about how you overcame fear— false evidence appearing real— and how you flipped it on its head. And now you're saying, you're saying, face everything and rise. And so I'll close with this. You see, I've been doing this work for over 20 years, been public speaking for over 20 years, and now turned professional speaking. Spoken in 40 different states. I've sat across from thousands of professionals who are exactly where you are right now, and I have never, not once, had a single person look back and say it was not worth it. Not one. But I've watched people look back and say, I wish I had done it sooner. I don't want that to be you. I listen to me. I do not want that to be you watching someone else's transformation take place after the next speaker boot camp is over. I just, I think you just need to say yes. You see, tomorrow's the last day. We got about 16 spots left. One day, 6 hours, Friday, July 17th. 9:30 in the morning to 4 PM, nonstop, action-packed. Breakfast will be served, lunch will be served. You'll get a certificate of completion. You get to meet some amazing people. And all I need from you is one decision. Not perfection, not readiness, not certainty, just one decision. So To everyone who is— every person who's watching right now, I need you to know something. I built this boot camp, this Public Speaker Boot Camp, because I believe in your voice. Your voice is needed on the earth. Not someday, not when you feel ready, not after one more thing. Like, right now. The world doesn't need a more polished version of you. It just needs the real version, authentic authentic version of you, speaking with courage, with purpose, and having the tools to back it up. That is what July 17th builds. So the link is in the bio or in the comments section. For everyone who has already registered, I can't wait to see you. It's gonna go up next Friday. Come ready to work. I'm ready to lean in. Like, we are going to disrupt our comfort zones. And for everyone who's still deciding, the clock is kind of running out. And you know what I always say, you can do it, but it's up to you to do it. And I hope that you do it. Like, I hope that you lean in. And, and here's the thing, the tomorrow is the ending of the, the promotion. And so right now I have the, the buy one, bring one, bring a guest. And so the costs end up going from $499 to $250 if you think about it differently. So listen, I'm not gonna twist your arm, but this boot camp is for you. It's, it's your time. Like, I don't know what to say, but I'm gonna say is think about it. Talk to your spouse about it. Talk to your colleagues about it. But I think it's showtime. I think it's showtime. Come ready to lean in. And again, that promotion ends tomorrow and we'll go from there. But until next time, you know, we gonna see. Oh, announcement, special announcement, and I'm dropping this right now. My brother is not even on this call, but I'm gonna let you know there's gonna be an ATL public speaker Game Changer Public Speaker Bootcamp happening in September. You'll be hearing about that soon. But those who are my great people that are in Atlanta, Georgia, come see us because the Henderson brothers is about to go down. And you know, anytime me and my brother get together, it's going to be a crazy, crazy good time. Crazy good time. So till then, peace and blessings. And let me know if you have any questions. Reach out to me directly and I will answer any questions you have. But until the next time, see ya. Peace.
