Hi, this is Koe from Knowledge Architecture. Let's take a look at BCJ's simple and informative homepage on their intranet site Gray Matter. The community navigation includes just two welcome with information about the intranet and basic firm background and directories with links to the people and project directories. The home stream appears in classic layout with Share Something enabled. The top 20 trending hashtags appear in the right hand column in Cloud layout limited to 20 items with the blue accent color enabled below. That is a basic navigation block with external links to essential platforms in list format. You'll notice the hover underline has been set to yellow in the site's branding settings. BCJ uses a responsive widget from lightwidget.com to get a clean and simple embed of their Instagram feed, and finally the Twitter feed embedded below that cropped to the bottom of the first tweet so you can scroll through the latest updates. BCJ's minimalist homepage provides updates from across the site and the firm's social media feeds and quick access to the most essential resources and information, making it a simple and welcoming landing page for the rest of the site.
