Chapters
Hi, this is Koei from Knowledge Architecture. Here's a look at Fesco's homepage on their Intranet arc. First we'll take a look at the home community Navigation the Welcome section includes links to two guides, one for the intranet and one for onboarding new employees. AskArc is a method Fresco uses to ask and answer questions in the stream. This section includes instructions for asking and answering questions and then links to both answered and unanswered questions using hashtag pages About Us includes all the firm background you might need, including the Employee Ownership guide. Next we have all the directories and finally a link to the Virtual Suggestion Box page, which is simply an embedded Microsoft form for getting everyone's ideas heard onto the homepage itself, where we have the Stream block in classic layout with Share Something enabled. The Quick Links section in the right column uses custom CSS combined with an embed block to create these nice little buttons for submitting a support ticket and opening the Virtual Suggestion Box page. Under the buttons is a navigation block in Icon bar layout with links to VantagePoint, Open Asset and all the firm's social media sites using customized logo icons surrounded by the Fusco Bubble graphic, which really ties them together visually. The Birthdays and Anniversaries Block shows birthdays and one and five year anniversary milestones for the next seven days limited to five items. The Recent Hires block has a custom title of Newest Fusconians. The block shows up to 10 of the most recent hires from the last 90 days. Fusco's homepage is attractive and simple, with consistent branding and easy navigation to the tools and updates employees need most. Thank you to Fusco for allowing us to share their homepage. Please reach out if you have any questions and happy building.
