Larry Weidel argues entrepreneurs waste time on low-value work like admin tasks and lawn care when they should focus on activities worth $500 to $5,000 an hour. Your productive hours are scarce. Spend them on what actually builds your business.
People used to say, you ever work on your lawn? I said, I see my lawn, I walk by. I've been introduced once or twice. But we really don't have anything in common. I have other people who deal with the lawn because you can spend your entire life on the stupid lawn and you get competitive over the lawn. The neighbors got this. The neighbors got what are you thinking? And the simple thing of spinning. You're going to spend your time on $20 an hour, $5 an hour, $10 an hour jobs, or do you want to become a 500 or a $5,000 an hour person? You're only going to have a few hours in the day to be productive in business, away from sleeping and eating and family and stuff like that. We have so little time. We have so little really productive time to invest. People don't look at it as an investment.
