TJ LaFaver survived seventy surgeries and a herniate surgery. He frames fitness as competing against your past self, not others. Any day you can squat this much weight is a good day.
When you've been through what I've been through. Seventy surgeries, herniate surgery.
Any day you can squat this much weight is a good day. So your wins are not based on what everybody else is doing. Your wins is based on you competing against yourself, who you used to be, who you want to be, and where you are today. That's where my wins are based on. I'm not competing with nobody else on social media, nobody else in the gym. I'm literally competing against myself if all the time.
