You know, people get up every day and they do the same thing. Tell themselves they're gonna change their life one day and they never do.
I'm gonna change mine. I think one of the hardest things to hear after you don't get your way is keep working. But it's also one of the only solutions to be successful. You're not gonna get your way most of the time in your life. Just keep working. Hard work pays off. No one tells you when. You'll never know the true feeling of accomplishment. If you've never faced a setback. You'll never know the true meaning of confidence if you never had to bounce back. Just keep working. You're not getting what you want. Keep working. You are getting what you want. Keep working. One thing's for sure, overthinking's overrated. If you want something bad enough, you can't let anybody tell you you can't do something, not even yourself. To do anything successfully in life, you've got to want it as bad as you want to breathe. And if you want it that bad, if you're willing to give it that much, you get a big piece of what you want. And dreams do come true. Anything you want can happen and become a reality. What have done with your life and make it something else besides the normality of everybody else? The intake, the outtake of what you call life is nothing more than time. And unless done something with, it's forgotten about. There's no footprint of your existence left for anyone else to follow. Life is time, and a life that's remembered. Where a footprint is followed behind in footsteps of inspiration and motivation is when time is met with opportunity and action, they collide to be a light remembrance. The problem is most people don't have a plan. Without a plan of your own life, you become the plan of someone else's life. So you need to be able to ask yourself, right? You know you need to go to the gym, you know you need to start this business. You know you need to read this book, but you don't do it. Why? Why don't you do it? Not, oh, I didn't do it today. No, no. Why didn't you do it? Why did you cave to the nonsensical bullshit in the persp?
You're above the grind, you're above the work, you're above the consistency, because these are the things that are holding you back. We understand that consistency compounds. I've said this once, and I'll say it again, but why is it that you know what to do, but you don't do it. Don't just say, oh, because I'm lazy. That, no, no, that's not good enough, right? No, it's not that you're lazy. Something else is wrong. You need to be able to identify these things and once you identify these things, you're able to tackle them effectively. At 3:30 in the morning and I'm looking at my shoes, not want to go out there and run 30 miles. I have to. In that second, in that moment of this self talk, my mind saying, you got to find more, you got to find more. I once again calm down, go back into my mind in my cookie jar I call it. And I have to reflect back on the shit I did to get here and that becomes my self talk. Self talk does not work unless it is real. The fear is never reaching your potential. That's it. That. Always falling short, always quitting before you're done, always procrastinating, always not doing the right thing. And then one day you're an old man. Yep. And you look back, yep, it could have been great. Be the guy who embraces the ugly, the miserable. Be the guy who embraces hard work, the grind. Don't be afraid of being hurt. Don't be afraid of sacrificing some blood. Everyone's like, oh, later in life I want to do this. Later in life I want to do that. Later in life is turning around, looking in the mirror right now, that's later in life. Unless that turnaround is something in progression, later in life ain't gonna be anything different. I was fat and I ran by a graveyard and I looked out there and I have all these epiphanies, man. I have all these fucking moments of like, of. It's crazy, man, of this thought. I'm always by myself and always deep fucking thought about how to be. I look out there, I'm like, man, I wonder how many of you in there just are so upset with how you lived your life and just regret how you lived it. And I'm running a 300 pound man thinking, man, don't die like this, bro. Don't die like this. So people wonder where this comes from. From me.
It comes from such deep thought of trying to see what this is all about. What is this life all about? What am I all about? Why am I here? You know, I had to find purpose. And.
My suffering, it had purpose. The thing is, man, it's always going to be a party. There's always going to be a time to celebrate and a time to join Friends and. Or, I mean, the bars are always open. Always open. No matter how old you are, they're always open. You know, what's not always open is the opportunity to the checked box in life, you know, achieve your dreams. That's not always open. And it's funny. Like, it's funny when you're coming here and you're closing the gym up and there's no one in the parking lot except for my car and.
Everyone else probably getting home from some party right now because ours are closed right now, too. You know, they're probably going to sleep and they're probably going to have to wake up and apologize to somebody for however way they act, because that's not who they really are. They're chemically induced to be a certain way to have the social lubricants or be able to talk and be liked and say they take something in order to be that guy. Just like people that do steroids, whatever else. I have to take this to be all that, you know, but who I am as an individual isn't quite good enough. That's why I need to take something and become somebody else. You know, It's a sad reality.
Coming here at night. And, you know, I don't know what it is about it, man, but like, man, it's just. The air smells a little bit better right now. You know when you say you're gonna do something and then you follow through and you do it. Not, not. Not at the end when you, you know, you cross the marathon, you finish it or your hands raised. I'm talking about right now, the small steps in between the big successes. Everyone sees. No one sees this right now. I'm saying, like, there's a confidence to it, man. There's a bad motherfucker that's right here, you know, that that's getting ahead of the competition is an overwhelming sense of fulfillment and pride and satisfaction with that. You know, I didn't have to shoot up anything. I didn't have to drink anything. I didn't have to go party, anything. All I had to do was just go work out. And now what's going to happen is a residual effect of that. Not only did my body grow, but my belief in whatever my current endeavors are was just me, me alone in the gym, me alone in the mirror, me alone in my head. No one did it for me. I worked for it. And I'm never gonna let someone else take that from me. You look at the finite details and you try to compare yourself to me, but you don't have the same story as I do because I came from nothing. So don't ever disrespect me. You don't know me. Eliminate all external distractions. You know that's what's going on. And just focus on the process itself and enjoying it every single day. Chopping wood, carrying water. You know, greatness is not meant for a few chosen people. It's. It's meant for those who persistently pursue their dreams every day and make that choice when they wake up. You got to stop with all this I can't catch a break bullshit. All the time you're complaining, you could be instead hustling, you could be instead chasing your dream. You could be instead figuring out what you're doing wrong, trying to prove certain aspects of your life, getting your together, reading a book, meditating, something. Something. If you can see it here and you have the courage enough to speak it. It will happen A lot of times. People believe in certain things, but they keep to themselves. They don't put it out there. You truly believe in it. If you become vocal with it, you are creating that law of attraction and it will become real.
It.
