A short comedic transcript that parodies gym culture by describing a narrator observing a ‘wild’ female in a gym and a puffed-up male ‘gym bro’ who performs bicep curls to win her attention; the encounter ends when the female picks up a tripod and the male quickly retreats. The piece satirizes performative behavior and social-media consequences in a gym setting.
Over there. A wild female strayed away from a treadmill habitat has entered the freeway zone. Take note of her appearance. Although these creatures are very beautiful, they're one of the most dangerous in all the ecosystem. One post on social media and Instagram could cancel a hundred blokes just like myself. We're gonna keep our distance. Cranky. It appears a wild male gym bro has approached the female. It appears the female's pheromones has piqued male's interest. You can see how big and puffed up he is, trying to get the solo female's attention. The gym bro has proceeded to bicep curls in hopes that she will take notice. Oh, look. He's attempting to gain her Instagram account. Female seems to be interested, but she grabs a tripod and he scurries away. Cruel world. The ecosystem is here. The male gym bro lives to find another venture.
