You know, the more that we talk, I. I kind of get it. Like, you have a very punchable face. Like, this is.
The worst.
All right. Welcome back to another edition of the Post Workout. I have first form athlete and UFC lightweight contender Evan Neller. What's up, Evan?
Hey, it's good to be here.
Good to see you.
Let's as well. Let's go.
This weak ass shit. Dude, I thought you were strong. All right, so you're in the usc, dude. That's pretty fucking wild. You don't. You look like a nice guy. You don't actually strike me as like a tough guy. You should look more menacing maybe.
Okay, okay. You know, I gave up on my modeling career a while ago, especially once I started getting all these cuts all over my face.
So, you know, the more that we talk, I, I kind of get it. Like, you have a very punchable face. Like I had something I just want them would like to the face this was.
So how'd you get like affiliated with like first former. How'd you get like introduced into the brand?
I'm from St. Louis, originally from Hillsboro, Missouri.
So I represent. Hey, let's go represent Hillsborough.
What are those? Hborough.
Hborough.
Swag.
Swag.
But you know, I'm pretty local, so I've been a huge fan of first form for a long time. And you guys had Jose Intriago.
Yep.
Or somebody else was fighting on the same card as me. And so a bunch of first form people were there to watch and support him. And I ended up being the main event. Got some eyes on me then it ended up being a fun, fan friendly fight. I think it went to decision. It was a three round war.
Those fights are.
Finally got in and got to check out the HQ and that's how I kind of got associated.
So I recently saw an IG post that you made on your Instagram and you basically told Dana White that you want to bang. So.
What'S up with that? Like just super horny dude or what's going on there?
That's a. It's cool if you are. I am too.
So I think that was taken out of context. I don't know if you've seen the picture, but my eye was laid open and they stopped my last fight because this cut was so bad. Yeah, let's talk about that. I was just trying to let them know that man, I was down to keep going.
Oh really?
Yeah. It was to me on the sexual. It was not provocative. It was not provocative. I should care.
You can be Horny, bro. It's all. It's all right, man. Them stitches are pissing me off, bro. We got to get those things out of there. So tell you what we'll do. We're going to pause the interview. I'm going to go. I'm going to just. I'm just going to get. I need my tools, though. I'm CPR certified. Don't worry.
We're going to.
We're going to pause. We're going to rip these things out. We're going to come back to you.
Is this safe?
Yeah, yeah, totally safe.
Yep.
Take care of this real nicely. How are we doing?
Easy.
Oh, okay.
You gotta cut this first. Don't just start.
Yeah, I remember that. Just, like, operation As I played like a kid.
I just chopped off some of your eyebrow. You know, that one's pretty good. That one's still in there, bud. So.
Yeah, I actually. I actually don't know what the I'm doing. So let's just head back to the interview because this is probably a bad idea. What do you think, kid?
It's probably a good idea.
So do you get, like, a lot of sick perks? And how can you get me into, like, some pretty cool UFC parties for some where we can just.
Yeah, you know, maybe next time I can just have you come out. I'll just have you corner me. We'll mic you up in the corner. You'll be in there.
Yeah, let me get in there.
What kind of. What kind of advice would you give me in between rounds? I'd say.
I'd say get in there. Rough them up. Give them a couple. Yeah, rough them up a little bit. Oh, rough them up.
Okay. I thought you said rub them.
Maybe just.
Yeah, I was like, maybe. Maybe after the fight, I'd be like, hammer fist.
Hammer fist. Hammer fist. You just want to hammer fist. Don't get a boner. Like.
You know.
You know what I mean?
Like, that would be weird. Wouldn't it ever happen?
I haven't had that happen.
Like, oh, man.
Thank goodness.
What's the best walkout song to come out to it to the ring? Something that just pipes. You feel it coming in the air. Hear the screams from everywhere. I'm addicted to. That's your song, dude.
Rihanna.
Come on.
Rihanna.
Don't get you going like that. Come on, Riri. That's my girl. Yeah, Riri's kind of.
What kind of submit? What's your favorite submission?
Rear Naked show. For sure. Okay. Yeah. Just.
Yeah. That's the worst time to ever see.
You yeah, yeah, that's. Which guy? The first guy or the second guy?
Both. Yeah.
Not a good.
You wake up, you're like, where'd this come from?
Like, what the. What goes through your. What goes through your mind? Like, not very before.
I'm not a very intelligent guy.
Oh, really?
Oh, in the fight.
What are you talking about?
What.
What. What goes through your mind, you know, before a fight? Are you fucking nervous? Are you like in the zone?
Are you.
You know what I mean?
Are you kind of a good mix of all of that?
Yeah, for sure. Do you do anything like, specific to like, settle yourself down or do you.
Think it's like some breath work and stuff? But for the most part, I feel like that just comes from a lot of practice of dealing with those nerves, you know, in training and stuff. You know, you can try to replicate the fight, you know, get your nerves going and, you know, hard sparring, right? And then just getting calm back down. Because it's so easy to get overworked and overwhelmed, especially with the. With the nerves and the emotions and then just kind of be way too tense, way too tight, and then you're just gassing way too fast. So you want a good mix of. Of nice and relaxed. Nice and easy. Like it's just another day at the office. And then also a little bit more than. Than usual though, because you need to be on high alert because, you know, anything, you know, one thing could change the course of the fight.
So. So this is the post workout. What's your favorite? I know you just got to work out and give me a little shake here. What's your go to flavor?
It's ctc, dude. That's. That's my. So huge fan of everything but cte.
There's cte.
That's hilarious.
It's not funny, though. It's kind of funny, but it's not.
That's hilarious. But CTC is my favorite.
Hey, knock, knock.
Who's there?
Oh, my. Idiot.
Yes. You look like.
You look like the offspring of a Abercrombie pitch model and skim milk.
You're so incredibly white.
I feel like we're pretty similar complexion. No, dude, we could probably pass as brothers other than that ugly ass mullet.
Whoa, whoa.
Is it weird having golf balls for ears?
Like troll ears? Looks like they were made out of play. D'oh.
Man, I wish I could freaking reshape them.
Someone who's has problems.
I was gonna say. You better watch where you're going with that one. Talking, talking on the. Smack on my ears. You want to see how I got them. There's an aspect there, right?
Absolutely, bro. Listen, I wrestled in middle school. I was in NW or a WCW. NWO on NCC4. I was a killer.
Let's go.
Yeah, let's go.
Bow to your sensei.
I thought we were fighting.
What was that?
I thought you were good.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Ah. Let's throw some punches.
What the.
What the is that? No, it's just I'm over Backyard brawler on the streets, you know?
Don't let him get you.
He's so strong. Ah, he's a freak.
Finish him. Finish him.
Squeezing.
Oh.
