Whatever you do around the holidays, whatever your faith traditions are or aren't, you need to figure out what matters to you. And that's a basic sense of prioritization. Hopefully your family's at the top of that list. And if not your family, then your friend family. And if not your friend family, then your dog family or some other living being should be really important in your life. And that should be in first place if you don't have a faith life. If you have a faith life, your faith life will be the thing that drives all of your decisions and will be in first place. And not everybody has that. And frankly, the thing that makes me really sad in life is how many people just feel like they have nothing and they feel lost and they feel empty. And I know you don't want me to say this, but when you feel empty, it's because there is a God-shaped hole in your life. All you have to do is let him in.
