Introverts can learn to mirror extroverts' energy and become "omniverts" who adapt to any room. The trick is mirroring others while keeping your own authentic self intact, which makes you more effective and actually more confident in public.

Introverts can learn to mirror extroverts' energy and become "omniverts" who adapt to any room. The trick is mirroring others while keeping your own authentic self intact, which makes you more effective and actually more confident in public.
That means that when you're an introvert and you're with other introverts, you can really restrict the amount of effervescence you put off because they don't need it. When you're with extroverts, you'll learn how to be what they need. We can call that being an omnivert, just as we can call it mirroring. The more successful you are at reflecting the people that you're with, the better you'll be at serving them. Because whether we like it or not, people are going to react to somebody who feels like them, talks like them, thinks like them. And then you start to bring your own space in. It's a wonderful thing that you have to give back. So don't overlook your own power. Give yourself the confidence and the strength to be exactly who you are, and then you'll find that serving the public is not just more impactful, it's more fun.
