I'm Leigh Thomas Brown, and if you know a CSP, you know we are not your standard speaker. In fact, my whole goal when I show up is to make your audience laugh and then immediately cry and then elbow their neighbor so that they have connectivity just from showing up. We know the world has changed. Trust is diminished. People feel isolated and alone. They're fearful. They kind of enjoyed Zoom for a minute, but now they hate it, but they use it as a crutch. You've got to make sure that your speaker can appeal to a Zoom audience and a live audience. And while I prefer to have butts in seats, I can tell you that I will engage them no matter where they are simply because they need it. And I love learning a few names, peppering it into my presentation, and then hanging around as long as necessary to hug necks and help them remember why they showed up in the first place and get them to come back the next time. I promise you, we'll have a good time and we'll learn along the way.
