So, if you're in a transaction that's gotten ugly, sometimes you should just take a step back, 'cause the other side will then have a moment to regroup. Continuing to fight is what hurts our buyers and it hurts our sellers, and then it hurts our interactions with each other. And frankly, y'all, even if you're not having a great interaction with another agent in this particular sale, you might have to deal with them tomorrow when you take a buyer out and you pull up the MLS and you're like, not him. And when you have that reaction, you've got to pull back and say, how do I fix my approach? Because if my client wants that property, I got to figure out how to pull everybody back together. And so that tug of war is a good thing in a way, because we should be working on behalf of our clients and not caving to everything. But it can be a bad thing when it leads us into constant conflict.
