When you're stuck, stop waiting for the right conditions and take one concrete step forward, even if it's just a phone call. The ant moving the rubber tree doesn't worry about the outcome, it just keeps going. Action itself, not results, is what breaks you free.
Remember, if the ant is only going to move the rubber tree plant, well, he's going to have to have some high hopes to do it, and he's going to have to have the rest of the ants with him. And so when you're thinking about how you can keep going when it's miserable outside and when your business doesn't look like you want it to look, or somebody told you no yet again, you just take a step. And that step might be one phone call, and the phone call you make might be to me, and I might not even answer, but you did something. It's the doing something that matters.
