So you're new to real estate. Hey, welcome! Now, here are 3 places you might find that very first client. The first place is in your phone. I want you to finish watching this video and then turn off your notifications, go to your contact manager, start with the A's, and just start calling people. Before you say, "But Leigh Thomas Brown, what do I say?" You're going to call and say, "Hey, how you doing?" And they're going to ask you how you're doing. If you can then say the most amazing thing ever, which is, "I've gotten into real estate, I'm so excited," and they might want to talk about it and they might not. So you got to honor the direction of the conversation. But I can promise you there is gold in your phone if you would just make outbound calls. And the second place that you can find that very first client is by giving back and volunteering. And by that, I don't mean you're going out and doing 12 different things and joining every church in town. It means figuring out where you have a passion to serve and lean into that and get to know some people because we can really sniff out when somebody's genuine and when somebody's just out for a dollar.
