This is a YouTube video titled "Why Delegation Is the Leadership Skill You Can’t Ignore" (created 2025-09-22T09:00:02Z). The excerpt is a solo presentation advising real estate professionals and lenders on delegation: it contrasts revenue-producing activities (buyer consultations, listing presentations, negotiations, helping borrowers lock rates) with non-revenue-producing tasks (cleaning databases, administrative work) and recommends delegating admin tasks to staff or AI tools so professionals can focus on revenue work. The speaker is a presenter (unnamed in the excerpt).

Hear me on that. Delegation is still doing. All this means is that you're being freed up to do the right things with your time. Because to be honest with you, if you are a professional REALTOR®, a professional loan officer, a professional gallery owner, you don't have time to clean up your list. You should, but you don't, because your time has to be spent in what we call revenue-producing activities. Revenue-producing activities for realtors: being in front of buyers in a consultation to explain your value and have them sign a buyer-broker agreement, listing appointments where you explain your value, you win their trust and have them sign a listing agreement, and negotiations where you are managing between buyers and sellers so that every consumer gets what they want at the end of the day. Those are your revenue-producing activities. Cleaning your database is an NRP, non-revenue-producing activity. Now it looks like it could generate revenue in the future, but the act of doing that cleaning work is not revenue-producing. And that's when you delegate that out to someone who is more skilled at administrative tasks than you are. A great REALTOR® is seldom skilled at administrative tasks. Let's just be honest. But the reason that we let things like that fall through, we're not administrative professionals. So that's when you get somebody that is a pro who's good at emails, phone numbers, updating, updating, updating. And maybe that's a human in your office and maybe it's an AI tool like the one I just showed y'all. So I'm just going to remind you that when you're freed up to do buyer consults, listing presentations, negotiating, if you're a lender, this is buyer meetings, this is helping them lock a rate. These are the things that produce revenue. It is the non-revenue-producing things that you need to surround yourself with somebody to help you. All right.
