In this solo YouTube monologue, Leigh Thomas Brown addresses viewers who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or burnt out after the high‑energy start of the year. She explains that the feeling isn’t due to laziness or incapability but to a noisy, heavy life that drowns out inner clarity. To combat this, she promotes her annual mid‑year reset event, “Kicktail,” scheduled for June 4, describing it as a genuine, no‑fluff conversation that offers honest encouragement, humor, and practical advice. Brown ties the event to the core ideas of her new book, Next Is Now, positioning the Kicktail session as a way to clear mental fog, refocus on personal priorities, and regain momentum before another six months slip by. She emphasizes the cost of staying stuck—lost momentum, confidence, relationships, peace, and purpose—and urges viewers to register via leighthomasbrown.com/kicktail, promising a personalized “kick in the tail” and the chance to receive a signed copy of her book.

Hey friends, it's Leigh Brown. Can we be honest for just a minute? Somewhere between those big January goals and real life, a whole lot of y'all got knocked sideways. Maybe the business and the market got harder than you expected, or maybe you completely turned into a squirrel and lost your focus, and maybe life just got really heavy. Maybe you're the one that's working nonstop every day, all day, and you still feel like you are completely behind. Maybe you're the one that's exhausted from carrying too much for too long. Now here's the dangerous part: when people like you feel overwhelmed, they often stop moving. And it's not because you're lazy, it's not because you're incapable, it's not because the world is out to get you. It's usually just because the noise is so loud you can't hear yourself think anymore. Can I get an amen? Well, that's exactly why Kicktail exists. It's why I started it all these years ago, because every year you and I gather together for a mid-year reset. And this is not fake hype, this is not fluffy big white teeth motivation, this is not 10x your life by Tuesday nonsense. We're going to have a real conversation with real perspective and real encouragement from a real girl who gets you. And honestly, sometimes you just need somebody to lovingly kick you in the back end and remind you who you are and how valuable you are. This year feels especially important because the heart behind my Kicktail series became the foundation for my new book, Next Is Now. And because I believe there are a lot of good people walking around carrying disruption, doubt, burnout, discomfort, uncertainty, and fear while pretending everything is fine. But we know that staying stuck and staying behind that wall has a cost. It costs you momentum, it costs you confidence, it can cost you relationships, and we all know that it will cost you peace. And sometimes the cost is that your purpose gets buried. Well, Kicktail is about regrouping before another 6 months disappears from this very precious life that you have. This, when we get together, is about clearing the fog, getting you refocused on what matters to you by helping you be honest with yourself. And frankly, that will help you figure out what your next actually needs to be. And not someday, not one day, not next year, not 5 years from now, not when the kids are grown or when momma's fine. It's now. So if you need clarity in your life, if you need perspective, If you need new momentum, and frankly, if you need a little bit of Leigh Brown to tell you the truth with love, and of course a little humor, and with practical advice, you should join me for Kicktail, June 4th. Put a big red circle on your calendar. We're gonna laugh a little bit on June 4th. We'll probably have those hard truths, but when you send me what you need in advance, I'll do my level best to help you get yourself refocused so that we can move forward together because I need a kick in the tail too. You can register right now at leighthomasbrown.com/kicktail. And if you don't have a copy of my new book yet, it's available on Amazon or my website, and then I'll autograph it. And in the meantime, I'll see you on June 4th, friends.
