Modern tools let you build fast, but speed without data just means failing faster. The real work now is generating good hypotheses and testing them with real data before you iterate.

It is easier to build than ever, of course. All of that doesn't matter as much as, so what is it that you're building? Why do you think it'll resonate with people? And have you tried it? And is it working? Because I think the gift that building so quickly gives us is the ability to iterate now way faster. And so, if you're not simultaneously increasing the data input that allows you to iterate correctly, you'll iterate way, way off course. Building faster means that execution has become less risky, and it's more the ideation, hypothesis generation, and testing that has become important.
