I would love to know what Kobe Bryant was like when the cameras weren't on, man. People always ask me, like, who's my favorite guest? Because I've done 12 years every single week. We've done a podcast for 12 years. Kobe is still my definitely top three. Yeah. And I remember Kobe just launched a podcast for kids, and it was called the Punies. I don't know if you're right. Jesse showed it to me, and he's got 15 minutes a month away from now. It was like a day in the future. And I was like, do not get up. He will do it tomorrow, anytime, any place. Because I knew he was, like, in the OC and I was here in LA. So I go, I'll go to his office at 6am Whatever. Like, do not get off the phone until you get a confirmation. That's tomorrow. Because if we book this in a month out, it's done. It's not happening. Yeah, it's not happening. It's gonna get. Especially with push. No, it's never gonna happen. So I go, make it happen tomorrow. They make it happen. And it's like 7 o' clock at night or something. I get there. I literally get there at 6am the interview starts at 8. I go, can I get there early? To just me and one camera person, Tiffany, who was on my team at the time. And I get there 6am the assistant opens the door. This was in his office in the oc Opens the door, turns the lights on, the lights are off. And she's like, here's the place in the office where we typically do interviews. Do you want to set up here? I go, can I see the whole office? Just to see if there's a better background. We go down, like, a long hallway with kind of offices, but big kind of windows, so you can see in the sides of the offices, like a hallway with. With, like, boardrooms and offices. I walk into another big room, and it's just kind of like corporate. I was like, okay, there's nothing over here. Let's walk back through this hallway. And on the way back through this hallway, in one of the glass windows, I see a figure sitting in the corner of this office as we pass by. And when we pass by, I say to the assistant, was that. Was that Kobe in there? Like, it was just a figure, a silhouette in the corner. And she goes, yeah, he's been here for, like, the last hour. I go, what? I go, no one's here. No one's here. He's in the office alone. The computer wasn't on. His phone wasn't on. It was just him, like, looking up in a silhouette. And I go, what's he doing? She was like, oh. He was up at 4, working out with his daughter, the one that was also in the crash, working out basketball with her. And he likes to be the first one here to really prepare himself for the day. And just that right there, I was like, this dude has won five NBA championships or however many MVP. He's a mega 100 millionaire. Whatever he has, he just won an Oscar. He's still here at 6am before everyone else in his office, before you, to prepare for the day before me. And I got there two hours early. And I was like, this guy's another level. He. He really, at that point, I was like, oh, this is another level.
