My First Childhood Memory Scarred Me For Life

One of my first memories was being sexually abused by a man that I did not know. When I was five years old, it implanted into me this idea that I'm abusable, that I'm unworthy, that I'm not enough, especially being a man in sports. I didn't see any men talking about going through abuse growing up. No one was on TV saying this happened to me. So I thought I was the only one in the world. And so it was terrifying to really kind of open up and process that. And I didn't tell anyone for 25 years. There's incredible peace and freedom on the other side when you allow yourself to heal, when you remember you are fully loved. So I want to remind you of that.
