The Body's Control Center | Nicole LaPera

The nervous system and the heart are the control center. We're like a sensor, an energetic sensor. Our nervous system is sending out electromagnetic waves. Our heart is actually sending out electromagnetic waves at a greater distance, and we're sensing the world around us. And then how we register what's happening in our external world is through changes in our skin. We get sweaty, we get clammy. So those sensors and that kind of command center of the heart and the nervous system is always outside of our awareness, assessing and scanning. and even more so than taking in information from just the external environment, is taking information from your nervous system. From others. From others. How stressed or non-stressed you are. And then like dominoes, we kind of ping against each other. The more stressed you are, the more I feel your stress, the more likely my body is to become stressed.
