How you show up matters more than you think. Arriving early, staying present, and respecting others' time builds lasting success. Dismissing people or coasting gets you short-term wins at best.
How you go about your business matters. And I try to explain to all my guys, like, you know, just having a respect for other people enough to where you show up early, not on time, but early. Sometimes you're in a meeting and the kids falling asleep in the meeting. You know why that kid's falling asleep in the meeting? Because in his mind, I don't have to listen to this because this is, you know, Everyone's coming after me, so why do I have to listen to any of this? And that mentality just doesn't work. That's not to say you're not going to be successful. Because you could be successful for the moment. But how do you be successful forever? And that's the difference.
