This THOUGHT is Creating Your Reality

Lewis Howes talks with Rhonda Byrne about how thoughts shape reality. They use Aladdin and the genie as a metaphor for asking and receiving, and explore how gratitude and kindness change what shows up in your life.
What is this process of asking and receiving and you call it, your wish is my command.
Okay. Because I use an example of Aladdin and the genie.
Yeah. And you've got this in the book with a little lamp and money coming out of it, which I like.
Yeah. And in Aladdin and the Janie. And the current story is it gets three wishes, but the original story was unlimited wishes. Because this was a story that was created to show how life works. Yeah. And so. And so if you think of universal law, whatever you want to call it, the law that governs our mind, when you think of that law, that law is governing your mind at all times. So. And it is operating only on one thing, your thought. Like it is sometimes called, like in the east, it's like called the law of karma. So it is operating only on your thought. That is it. And so whatever you think the law says, your wish is my command. I don't want to go there. I don't want to do that. My boss is really mean to me. He's never kind. He's just. Every time I go to that supermarket, it cost me way more than I ever want. Fuel's gone up again. I can't believe it. You know, I'm taking all that back, universe. I'm very grateful for the fuel, I'm grateful for the supermarket. I'm grateful for all of those things. But you're saying those things every single thought you say, your wish is my command. Your wish is my command. You just asked for it. You just commanded it. You're just getting it.
And are you saying it to yourself then? Are you saying if you're asking for it, do you also reply to yourself, your wish is my command.
I know that the law is responding with it's saying, your wish is my command.
Got it? Got it.
Yeah. So that's for all of us. Every single thought, you know, so every thought. That's why when you're grateful, when you're grateful for something and the universe says, your wish is my command, because whatever you are grateful for, you're going to get more of it, is going to multiply.
I believe that.
Yeah. And so when you're kind, my. Your wish is my command. You know, when you say something kind, when you're nice to somebody, when you help them out or you know, you just do something, like it makes you feel so good, you know, to just do, especially to do something for strangers, like, there's that in the book too. Just, I mean, it just makes you feel really, really good and brings you out of your head and all of those thoughts and everything and. And just brings you to. Brings you into your heart and, you know, if we were more in our heart rather than in our head, you know, be really different world.
