So right now, the Statistics are about 40% of children are overweight or obese.
That makes me sad when I see kids like that. It makes me sad.
And it's even more challenging for parents, because even if you're one of those parents who's trying your hardest to give your kids real whole Foods at home, they go to school and get Pop Tarts and Fruit Loops and Mac and cheese and pizza fruit for lunch. Those foods are designed to make people eat more of them than they should.
Not feel satiated or full.
And once you start eating those foods, even if you come home to mom, who's got chicken and vegetables on the table, you want a bag of chips, and your mom is gonna ultimately give in because his kid's gonna be whining about how they're still hungry.
Yeah. And you're tired and you've worked all day, and you don't have the energy to be patient. I get it. It's challenge.
And no parent wants to hear their child say, I'm hungry. That is just an instinctual thing. We feed our children. We make sure they're not hungry. So when your kids are getting hooked in other food environments that you have no control over as a parent, and then you're trying to feed them healthy food, it's an uphill battle.
