My work is about helping people have the difficult conversations that they need to have, want to have, don't know how to have. I think it's an amazing thing to ask for help. Like, I have no problem saying, I know nothing about this. I don't experience it as belittling or admitting or vulnerable. I ask people, How do you feel about asking for help? And like 70-something percent of people said, I don't do it. I don't like it. That doesn't make me feel good. And then I said, and how do you feel when other people ask you for help? And the same 70% said, I love it. It's like when other people ask, you don't think they're stupid. They don't know they're vulnerable. You want to help. You want to help. Well, why don't you think that when you ask for help, other people enjoy that too?
