When I was broke, living on my sister's couch. And I would reach out to people on LinkedIn one by one, asking, hey, can you give me a job? Hey, can you teach me something? Hey, can you show me how to do this? And I realized, after many months of failing at this, that I was just being a taker. Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't reach out for help. You should. But we need to be thinking, how can I live in gratitude and generosity while I'm reaching out for help as well? The more generous you can be with your energy, the more results will come to you in unexpected ways.
