#38: Living in purpose with Scientific Hand Analysis with Jayne Sanders
22 Sept 2021 · 33 min
In this episode of the Aligned Coach Podcast, host Lindsey Badillo interviews Jayne Sanders, a purpose and law‑of‑attraction coach who specializes in Scientific Hand Analysis. Jayne shares her personal journey from corporate roles and professional speaking to discovering her life purpose through a scientific hand‑analysis teleseminar, which led her to study the modality for five years and become a Level 4 master practitioner. She explains how scientific hand analysis works—handprints are captured, sent to her, and analyzed over two Zoom sessions, revealing personality traits, life challenges, and purpose based on fingerprints and hand lines that she claims mirror neural pathways. Jayne discusses the scientific claims (a 40‑year database of 30,000 hands, a foreword by a Stanford neurosurgeon), the service package (handprint kit, two‑hour analysis, summary report, follow‑up call) and a special $100 discount for listeners. The conversation also touches on related spiritual tools such as Human Design, the law of attraction, and philosophical views on the soul, reincarnation, and destiny. Jayne emphasizes that moving toward one’s purpose feels rewarding, while resisting it feels “crummy,” and she encourages listeners to recognize “student paths” and take action. The episode ends with practical details for contacting Jayne via purposewhisperer.com and her social media (Facebook, LinkedIn).

Um, yeah, all things spirituality and making your life better and more fulfilled through those modalities. So welcome on, Jane. I'm so excited to have you here.
Thanks, Lindsay. Yeah, I've been looking forward to it.
Yeah, awesome, awesome. And just fair warning, everyone, I have my daughter here with me today. So if you hear her in the background, just know that, hey, we work from home and this is real life, right?
That's absolutely right. Sometimes my cats meow too.
So exactly. Amazing. All right, Jane, so tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you from? Sort of what it is that you do?
All right. Yeah. So I am from originally Southern Illinois, small town. Um, but spent half of my life in Southern California. I've lived in Missouri, New York, um, where else? So there's a couple other places. I'm getting lost now, but— and now I'm in Denver. And, um, my background is corporate, so I've had 3 careers in the corporate world. You know, I liked each one for a while, but then I would hit this wall of just discontent, knowing I was supposed to be doing something else, but I just couldn't figure out what it was. And I worked with a career coach, and that didn't help. I read all the books, I took all the tests, I was still stuck. And my last career lasted longer. I was a professional speaker, and that was really fun. I was traveling around and, you know, doing real well, but then again hit that same dadgum wall, right? And, but I didn't know what else to do, so I kept doing it. And as my heart pulled away from the business, I So did the revenue. But I didn't know what else to do, so I kept doing it and got one of those cosmic 2x4s. Oh, the universe is like, hey, you need to be doing something else and you're not doing anything about it, so we're gonna pull the rug out and make sure you figure it out. Wow. Anyway, both of my parents died within 3 months of each other, and it was like, okay, life is short, I need to quit farting around. I could follow my nose and figure this out. And so I started Googling, how do you find your life purpose? And went down a couple of wrong paths and eventually ran across a headline for a teleseminar, and it said, discover your innate life purpose. I couldn't click on that sucker fast enough. I know. And the first words I saw were hand analysis. Oh, I was so bummed. Because, you know, I just knew palm reading would not be what I needed. There are great palm readers, but anyway. And then I saw the word scientific, and that one word helped me put aside my anal MBA skepticism. And I listened to that teleseminar, and it made a lot of sense, and I really wanted my purpose, so I got a scientific hand analysis done. Blew my mind. What? Answered questions I didn't even know I had. It was like, oh, no wonder that worked but that didn't, and no wonder I liked that but I didn't like that. And it just— oh my God, just bing bing bing bing bing bing. And I didn't even know what my purpose was supposed to be in terms of work, but I knew the way it was articulated was accurate. I knew it was right. I knew everything was right, even things I hadn't thought of before. And I also knew if I took action on it, I'd find my way. And that's exactly what happened. And within a few months, I was like, oh my God, if I was so lit up and on fire before I even knew specifically what my purpose work looked like, I want to help people feel like that. So I started studying it, studied it for 5 years. I'm level 4, which is the highest ranking. I'm a master, which is just the sheer number of hand analysis that I have performed. I have clients in 11 countries. I do it by Zoom because I use hand prints. I don't do it in person. And, um, I'm on purpose and got 3 coaching certifications since then. So that's how I got involved with your show. I'm a purpose coach. I'm a law of attraction coach. And I'm a spiritual life coach, and those all thread together. Wow, my coaching work. So yay, I finally found my way.
So you know your shit, in other words.
Like, I know my shit, and I want other people to feel like I do. And so does the universe, spirit, God, source— I don't care what word you use. But, you know, we're here to make a specific difference in the world, and it doesn't feel good unless we do that. And if we're farting around like I did for decades and really not taking it seriously, then you're gonna get pokes. You know, it's like, okay, it's like part of your purpose work though.
Like, do you think that those things sort of like led you to the place to where you— yes, that you could receive that message?
Yes, Lindsay. People go, oh, I can't stop doing— I've invested so much time doing this. And I'm like, You never waste— I use every bit of the experience that I had. Yeah. You know, I speak a lot now, and I was a professional speaker. I was in marketing and sales. I have to market and sell my work. It all comes into play.
Yeah, that's how I feel. Whenever I was teaching, and, you know, and the listeners know my story because I talk about it a lot, but like, I was a few months into teaching and I knew that I couldn't do it forever, but I felt this guilt that came up and almost like, no, you have to stick with it. This is what you went to school for. This is my profession. And so there was a lot of pushback to change that, you know, but I like now literally every single day I use those skills and what I do, like how I teach my clients and how I like teach, you know, my communities and things like that and how I understand people, relate to them. Like I use those skills every day. Exactly. And I don't think that I would be like as an effective coach if I didn't have those skills and that background, right?
So exactly, perfect.
Yeah. Yeah. I'm glad that you say that. Like, it's like, yes, no, that wasn't your purpose doing that. But like, it's part of the work that got you here, you know, like, and what's interesting, I was with each career, I was getting closer and closer.
And that's why each one lasted longer than the one before. And, you know, my speaking business, I was also a facilitator and trainer. And so it was closer to coaching, and I always coached on the side. On the side is not the right word, but anyway, coaching was always an aspect of my work. And I think especially my speaking career lasted 20 years, and I think that lasted longer because I I was helping people more deeply, and that's what I was really missing, was going deep enough to fulfill my purpose.
Wow. What kind of things did you speak on? What, what sort of, like, did you do, like, events? Like, what? Tell me about that. I'm just curious.
Um, my primary topic was gender communication in the workplace and how to work with the gender styles. May not be man, woman, it's just the gender style. I wrote a book about that. I also did, um, authenticity. Um, I had a keynote, Success from the Inside Out. I did, you know, and I'm doing air quotes, listeners, work-life balance, because we all know there is no such thing. But back then, we believed there was. And I did workshops on that, um, for women, you know, spoke to a lot of women's groups and a lot of you know, male-dominated industries, financial services. U.S. Steel was one of my biggest clients, um, and I really enjoyed it for 15 years. And then it was just like, this is getting kind of boring, and I didn't have the motivation to create new topics because I knew I was supposed to be doing something else. But now I speak all the time on hand analysis because people do find it fascinating, and law of attraction are my two primary I love it.
I love that so much. I have had this— well, two things really. One, I've had this pull lately to like do public speaking. Like, I love it. I have found— I have learned myself how to use my voice. And whenever I use it, it's really freaking powerful. Now that I'm here, it is. So I really want to speak somewhere on something. I don't know what it's going to look like yet. But I know that like, it'll come to fruition when it's meant to. So I love that we're having this conversation.
Good for you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Thank you. Um, and just to answer a question somebody— I would think several of your listeners have in their mind right now— the science behind scientific hand analysis: the lines in your hands actually mimic the neural pathways in your brain. Really? And the gentleman that put this database together— and it's a huge database— spent 40 years and analyzed over 30,000 hands. That's more subjects than any FDA-approved drug out there.
Wow.
To put this together. And he wrote a book about it, and the foreword to the book was written by a neurosurgeon who was at Stanford because this neurosurgeon was using scientific hand analysis with his patients. He's since retired, but anyway, It's pretty awesome.
Yeah, yeah, so that was my like my literal next question. Tell us what this is. Can you do, like what does it take to do one? Could we do one like on the show?
Well, I could see very sketchy. It's risky, but you know, if you hold your hand up right in front of the camera, let me see what I can see. And it would be little bitty stuff, Lindsay. You know, this is, okay, relax your hand just a little bit. All right, so a couple things I see, um, that you're, uh, very different than your family of origin. You're much more forward-thinking, more progressive thinking. Um, you might have felt weird as a kid or were teased about being different, and hopefully you like it now. You like being— you're a rebel and out-of-the-box thinker, and you're meant to be. The other thing I see is your head— your lifeline is broken. So that's just a big shift in your life. Could have been an illness, could have been a divorce, could have been a death in your family, could have been a move that was very challenging, anything like that that really changed the trajectory of your life. And the other thing I saw, you need a lot of alone time, you, and, and freedom. And it's not just enjoyable it's required for you to be the best you can be. And when you're on the master path— and every marking has master or student path, and nobody can be master 100%, we're human, right? So when you're on the master path of this particular marking, you can be high integrity, high reliability, um, romantic, not so mushy, um, favorite way of communicating love and affection in any type of relationship is doing things, acts of service. And then secondary would probably be physical affection. Yeah. Um, so that's what I—
all of this from like looking at my hand for like 3 seconds.
One second. But let me tell you, so— and when I speak, I give little mini readings, and they're only 3 minutes, but people can't remember all the stuff that I tell them.
And, oh, well, this is recorded. I'm coming back to it.
Well, and I tell people to record on the phones. A full analysis is like a fire hose. And you— so you said, how do you do it? So I send out a kit where they take their prints and send their handprints back to me, and then we set up 2 Zoom calls, an hour for the analysis. And it is very comprehensive, profound, insightful. People call it freaky accurate. I was written about in Forbes, by the way, because of the accuracy of this work. Wow. And then they get the recording and a summary report, and the second hour is for after they watch the recording, um, because you can't take it all in first time through. You know, I say something and you start thinking how it shows up in your life, and I'm still talking, right? Right. So the second call is to answer any questions and help you apply the information to your life because this shit is life-changing. Yeah. If you use it right. I mean, I don't care how good your life is now. If you take action on what's in your hands, it will only get better.
Period. I am so intrigued. I'm like, we may have to schedule like a follow-up call. It's pretty amazing stuff, especially like what you said about it being like a direct reflection of like your neural pathways. Like, give me the science. Give me the data. Like, I'm all about the woo too, you know, but like, I am like a secret skeptic, you know, like I'm secretly kind of skeptical about a lot of stuff.
Right, right, right.
Give me the science behind it and I'm in. Have you heard of, or do you practice, of Human Design?
I know my, my whatever it is, but I don't do it, but I'm very aware of it.
Okay, okay. So I have been like, it's kind of like a new topic right now. Yeah, you know, and I have really been trying to like integrate my chart into like my life and just trying to live more on purpose, you know, just trying to structure my business on purpose. Because, you know, as a coach, like, our life is our work, you know, and, and what we do day in and day out is really going to manifest the results in our business, considering that like we are the product, you know. So I've been like, I'm a manifesting generator and I'm like trying to— you probably knew that though, right?
Like, no, no, no, I don't know it. I just know mine. I'm wondering though, you can get your purpose from human design?
Well, yeah, it's like supposed to. Okay, so for an example, manifesting generator, I know that like I have to be very passionate or like connected to what it is that I'm doing, right? That's why I felt so literally like stuck in teaching because I was, I wasn't really passionate about it. Right. I just did it because I thought, oh, well, this will give me steady paycheck off in the summers, a good schedule, good retirement. You know, I was not passionate about it. That's why I felt stuck in it. So I know that like, I, I can be, my mind can change quickly. I want to do things differently. I get very easily inspired. And then, you know, but that's how I act the best. So I have, I'm trying to learn to, um, integrate that into like my business and into my future and things like that. So I don't know if it necessarily gives you your purpose.
I'm not— I don't— I— for me, it— and for what you just described, it tells you who you are and your most effective approach.
Yeah.
Yeah. To things. Whereas this is scientific hand analysis is who you are at the deepest level and why you're here, how you're meant to make a difference in the world. And it's not a job description— that would be cuckoo, right? But it is the most specific and comprehensive description of the work, the ideal work behind your purpose. And everybody has options. Nobody has just one job that fits their purpose. Everybody has options. Yeah, and it always works.
What was your purpose? Like, whenever you did your hand analysis, what was like your deep core purpose of being in the world?
Well, there's— it's— it can be very comprehensive.
So because there's two ways to do it, what keeps you going on a daily basis?
Yeah, so the core of it was that I need to be in leadership positions and I need to be helping people in deep ways. There were a lot more things about it, but those are the two biggest pieces. And similar to you, I need to be passionate and love my life and my work and figure out how to get that done, bring it into my life. Have— that's why I just got off my horse before this call. That's my thing. And I ride almost every day because it brings me such joy. And I need to, as it's called, a passionate advocate. I need to figure out what my desires and passions are and then live them and know I deserve it.
Yeah, and you don't have to earn it or work.
Yeah, so leadership, passionate advocate, and then helping people in very deep ways. And that's why I've— and plus I have all these other certifications in addition to the coaching. It's crazy, I probably have 10 different cert— you know, because I love learning. I'm also a lifelong learner, so I just crunch it all together in all my coaching sessions, and it's all just involved, you know. It's all— everybody gets all of it.
Yeah, yeah. And that's all part of your practice, you know, how you help your clients, how you show up, how you teach, coach, all those things. Exactly. Yeah, I love what we do. I think we have the best job ever.
I just love it. I just, you know.
Yeah, it's awesome. So good. Okay, so someone gets their hand analysis and then they go and like apply it to their life. Do any of the, like, do your clients ever, I mean, this is a stupid question probably, but like, that's like heavy work, right? They're like, oh, I'm on the completely wrong path. Now I have to go like put in my 2 weeks notice and like quit my job or divorce my partner or something like that. That is profound, profound work.
Yes, but, um, because if they're taking steps toward their purpose, it's not going to feel awful. It's when you resist being on purpose, that's what feels crummy. I mean, the universe rewards you heading toward purpose. And a lot of people need coaching to help them figure out what to do and to guide them through those student paths I mentioned, because we all have a ton of them. I needed coaching. That's how I figured out I wanted to do this, was through this group I got involved with. The, the biggest thing is just Recognize the student paths that are impacting you the most and just be aware, and then take action on those. It's not big and deep and heavy, the change. It's really not. You know, depends on how resistant you're going to be, and any change can be frightening, right? So it's like stepping off a cliff, and you just have to trust that the parachute will open, and it will, right? But you will pee your pants on the way down, right? Because it's scary. For some people, but you know, when you know you're guided and directed, and especially if you have support through it, you won't even pee your pants. Right, right.
So yeah, that's awesome. I love it, I love it. You'll definitely question what the hell are— like, what in the hell was I thinking on the way down? But it will be worth it.
Yeah. Oh yeah, no, because it feels better. It feels— every step you're rewarded. In some little way, especially if you start putting in my law of attraction stuff, which is every client I put those rituals into place. And yeah, immediately people start getting— oh wow, good stuff.
Oh, I bet. I, I, I 100%, I— yeah, I definitely— okay, so tell me, you mentioned something a while ago about the lifeline. What does that mean? Tell me more about that because it just kind of—
so, you know, there's 3 major lines that everybody has and that come up in palm reading too. From the lifeline, we get— scientific hand analysts get things that have, you know, just disruption, or we can get some family stuff from lifeline. A short lifeline has nothing to do with how long you're going to live. If you have a short lifeline, it just means that like squirrel, shiny object syndrome. Um, you interrupt yourself because something pops in your head and you go do that, right? But there's also other markings that could counter that. So there are always delicious dilemmas in the hands, but the lifeline is just one of the major lines. So is the headline, which tells us how you think, how you want information presented to you, you know. Um, and then And I'm really high level here. And the heart line is your relationship style, how you communicate in relationship, any kind of relationship, how you express love and affection and how you want love and affection expressed to you. But there are dozens of markings in the hands. Oh, I wanted to tell you. Oh yeah, we're talking about science, but woo and skeptic and stuff. So we get a lot of information from fingerprints. Okay. And I mean a lot. And fingerprints are formed 14 to 16 weeks when you're still in the womb.
Right.
Um, and they never change, of course, the FBI being deep duty, right? So that means the information that I get about you from your fingerprints won't change either. It's the core of who you are. So it's really helpful to get that information because it's your core. The woo part of it is 14 to 16 weeks is when the spiritual gurus say the soul enters the embryo. So your soul brings in the core of your purpose, the biggest challenge you want to deal with in this lifetime, and some of the talents and skills and learnings that you need. So isn't that cool?
I know, I'm like, oh, so like, you know, in large part, like, the things that will happen to us and the things that we will go through and the lessons that we will learn, they're already decided, you know? Exactly.
Yeah, our souls decide. We don't remember it, of course, because we're having this human experience right now, but our souls decided what we wanted to struggle with, what we wanted to So do you feel like—
sorry, that was my calendar. Do you think that our souls are like reincarnated? So after we pass, and then that soul would like leave this human experience, and then it would come back later, and we'd have like a different set of prints, you know? Or no? Tell me about that.
I absolutely believe that.
I'm getting so personal here. You can just say—
Hey, I don't care. I absolutely believe that. Yeah, it makes too much sense. Yeah, right. And it's not— I mean, the soul stays the same. It's always the soul, right? So it's different human experiences. It's like, well, this lifetime I think I want to experience being murdered because I want to experience— because we're pieces of God and God wants to experience every aspect of humanity. So this lifetime I want to experience how it is being murdered. Next lifetime, I want to experience being the murderer. The next lifetime, I want to experience being the mother of someone who loses a child. The next time, I want to be the child who gets lost, you know. So, right, um, yeah, yeah. And it's hard for us to accept that. Yeah, it's our own soul who wants these experiences, but it explains why good things happen to bad people. I mean, other way around. Why bad things happen to good people. I said that totally backwards.
Okay, love you, bye. Okay, there's my daughter. She's eating a hamburger bun right now and comes in to tell me, I want to play with some Play-Doh, hanging out of her mouth. I, I just don't even know what's going on.
That's so cute.
Oh, oh my goodness.
Um, See, and your soul wanted that too. Your soul wanted to see your little girl coming with a hamburger bun hanging out of her back.
Look at me! Yes, she is. Um, yeah, no, I, I like that. I think that, I mean, we don't know the specifics. I don't think anyone knows the specifics of exactly what happens or how it happens. But I was listening to, um, one of, you know, a coach or teachers that I listened to or whatever, and she was saying how she feels like the souls come into your body, then they leave, and then they go into like this instead of it being like heaven, quote unquote, it would be like almost like a bowl or like a glass jar of like where all these souls are, you know. But she said it in a much better way of like kind of like your souls are just there hanging out until it's like their time to go and be reincarnated. And I'm like, okay, well, like, I guess. I don't know. I just like hearing everyone's— or not everyone, but I enjoy hearing other people's take on things and how it works, because I'm like, you, like, I just want to take it all in.
And then, yeah, I've heard many permutations of what happens when a soul leaves the body, but bottom line, I think they get help from other ascended masters and figure out what they want to experience next and then reincarnate whenever.
No glass bowl included?
I haven't heard the glass bowl thing. That's, that's a new one, but whatever.
Like a metaphorical bowl.
Like, I don't think there's Well, in heaven to me is being with God, right? Yeah. So, and hell is being separated from God. There is no fire burning and fire, right?
Really? Yeah, absolutely. Oh, this is good. This is good. Yeah. And then even because I like to go through and read parts of the Bible sometimes, and while I wouldn't say that I'm like a devout Christian Christian or anything, but I do think that there are things in there like, you know, the like devil being or Satan being like ego, right? Like that is separate from God. Like that is without love. Like God being love, spirit, like one, like whole, you know, and then like Satan being like your ego and that, that voice in your head that tells you no, you're not good enough, you're not worthy, you know, all those things.
Rather than it being like this man with like a pitchfork, you know, and horns. And yeah, no, I'm with you on that. And I wanted to tell you that in the Bible there are, I don't know, at least 30 references to hand reading. Really? And also just as many to the law of attraction. Wow. They just don't use those words. Yeah, right. Because we'll think, as a man seeketh, so he will find. That's law of attraction. Yeah, you know, as, or as a man in his heart.
That's—
I mean, there's— I have— I do like my slides. I have a whole bunch of Bible quotes and all the, you know, a lot of scientific proof behind law of attraction as well.
I have a verse. I have a painting that I painted like years ago, and on it I wrote a verse. Um, seek me, you will find. Seek me with all your heart, and that's when you'll find me, basically, or something like that. Um, when you seek me with everything, like, that's whenever you're gonna find me. And I think that's true. Like, whenever you seek light, God, source, universe, and you believe, and you know, like, manifestation things, like, that's whenever it's gonna happen, right? Like, that's whenever you're gonna see it.
What you focus on, what you put your attention on, is what you're gonna get. More of that feeling. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Also, like, and then on, like, a scientific confirmation bias, you know, like, what we think of is, like, of course we're gonna see see more of it, right? If you buy a red Honda, you're going to go out, you're going to be driving down the street, see all these red Hondas. Exactly. Like you're going to see more of it.
Yeah, exactly.
This is so good.
I know. And if you're grumpy, you're going to attract things and situations that make you feel grumpy.
Absolutely. Yep. 100%. All right, Jane, so tell us, how can our community, how can our listeners connect with you if they are as intrigued as I am about this scientific— Thank you.
And yeah, so, um, a couple things. My website is purposewhisperer.com, and you can email me through my website, purposewhisperer.com. And I also would like to make a special offer for your listeners if they're interested in a full hand analysis. So at my level, I'm about average price for people at my level, and there's not that many of us, and that's, uh, $497 for the 2 full hours, the handprint kit, the all the information, who you are, why you're here, the summary report, the second hour call. But I'd like to offer your listeners $100 off that. Wow. So they can either email me and— or I can send you a link and you can put it in the show notes, whatever you— how are you And we can do both. You can watch, look at the show notes or go to purposewhisperer.com. You can't get that price on my website, but if you email me, then I'll send it to you.
Perfect. Okay, let's make a link and then I'll put it in the show notes. Okay. Also put the link to your website in there. They can do either, whichever.
Okay. Yep.
That great. Are you on social media? Where can, can anyone come? Are you active there?
Am I what?
Are you active on social media, either Instagram or Facebook or anywhere?
Facebook and LinkedIn.
Okay, perfect.
Yeah, you're just Facebook and LinkedIn, Purpose Whisperer, Purpose Whisperer, my name. I have two pages on Facebook. Link to Lindsay.
Yeah, I'm the same. I have to write it down, otherwise—
oh, forget it. Well, look what happened today. I mean, that's, that's a first for me. That is a first.
It's okay. It's, it's a-okay.
Yeah. I didn't even have to tell you. You wouldn't have known.
Yeah. And you know, honestly, I was like sitting there on the couch and then I also with Ellison, my daughter, and then I also got the notification like, oh, I've got to run in here. You know? So it's totally fine. Um, okay. Jane, well, thank you so much for coming on. I have thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. I think it's, um, inspired some questions from me, you know, and definitely excited to learn more from you. And I'm excited for our listeners to reach out to you if they feel called to do so. And thank you for coming on today.
Oh, you are such a great host. I feel like I've known you forever. And it was such an easy conversation. So thank you for being a good interviewer. I'm very happy to have been here.
