#49: Ditch the hustle narrative and let your inner Soul Queen shine
10 Dec 2021 · 39 min
Dr. Chelsea Page, a former sex therapist turned business coach, talks about moving past the hustle mentality toward what she calls your "Soul Queen" self. She breaks down masculine energy (structure, action, money) and feminine energy (being, pleasure, trust), and how imbalances show up as over-achievement or people-pleasing. The shift happens through recognizing which wound is driving you and taking small steps of expansion instead.

All right.
Welcome back, everyone, to the Aligned Coach Podcast, or welcome to our new listeners. I am Lindsay and I have a guest here today. I have Dr. Chelsea Page. We're going to be diving into all things self-love, intimacy, relationships for entrepreneurs and for women in general. So I am so excited for today's interview. It's going to be a goodie. Just like a disclaimer, we may be talking about some sexual topics or maybe drop, you know, some, some terms that are not suitable for, for the littles' ears. So just keep that in mind, be mindful of that. And let's go ahead and dive in. And without further ado, welcome on Dr. Paige.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much. I'm so excited. This is going to be a delicious conversation. And I think one that's really important and that so many of us actually don't attend to. So this is going to be good.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I am so excited for this. You know, I was a relationship coach before before going into business coaching. And it was—
were you?
Yes, relationship and intimacy. I mostly worked with married women who were really like trying to love themselves, feel their partners again, like all that juicy stuff. And then towards the end of that era of relationship coaching, I started doing relationship coaching with entrepreneurs. It was called The Intimate Entrepreneur. Yeah, it was fun for— it was short-lived. And then I was like, you know what, screw it. Like, I'm just gonna go all in on business coaching. So, yeah, yeah, I cannot wait to connect with a fellow relationship coach.
I love that. Yes. So, yeah, similar story for me. I did, although I did sex and relationship therapy, so I did that for about 8 years and I burned myself out on that. Therapy is a whole other ballgame. I was really, really good at it. It's especially relationship therapy, but I just loved the woman. I loved the woman and helping her feel empowered and love herself and connect back to herself and, you know, really transitioning that into especially entrepreneurs, because so many of us get lost in relationships and even the relationship with our business because we have a relationship with everything, including our clients, our business, money, a partner, ourselves. All the things.
Yeah, absolutely. Um, so tell us a little bit, that's, I want to dive into that a little bit deeper. What's the difference between, I'm sure you get asked this question a lot, right? Like, uh, what's the difference between like the self-love and relationship coaching versus the therapy? Because I'm actually in a continued ed course right now, um, working with Topsy Van Den Bosch. I'm not sure if you know her or not, but she's amazing. And she was a practicing therapist before she came into the coaching world. And so I am learning about the difference between therapy and coaching and really how to like differentiate the two. So you, can you share some of that with our listeners? Because this is mostly coaches or like online educators. And I think that this would be a good time to cover that.
Yes. Oh my gosh, such a good question. And I just had So my clients have a mastermind and they asked me this the other day and I'm like, well, let me tell you. And I mean, that could be a whole episode on its own. But, you know, one of the things that I, a couple of the things that I love, the difference between therapy and coaching is in the therapy world, it's very, very regulated, very regulated. There's a lot of rules. It's, it's a place where it's just regulation. And also there, it's a place where it's very a lot of time one-sided. It can be, you can include yourself in it a little bit as a therapist, and I would because I always loved using personal examples and helping validate, you know, where they were at, etc. But mostly it's weighted onto their side. And so for me, what I love about coaching is it's this place of there's no rules and regulations, which I know that, I mean, there's a bunch of opinions about that, but for me, I love it because my whole position about just life in general is not to live in a box and not to do the shoulds and not to do the have-tos and not feel like you have to hold yourself back. With coaching, I feel like I am actually woman to woman. Like, I am here walking with you and I have learned a bunch of things. I have, you know, have a bunch of consciousness and awareness and tools and all these pieces inside of me and my own life experience, which is really valuable. So, I get to share that as a Coach and And you get to find what feels good for you. And that's what I love about this world is, and I teach the women in my world this, is there's so much out there and you just got to find what feels good. And when it feels good, it works. But if you're trying to force yourself in a box or shoulds and have-tos, it doesn't work. And not poo-pooing therapy. Like, I love therapy. I'm in couples therapy with my husband to deepen our relationship. Not that anything's wrong. It's just I, I'm always doing this work, so he's so gracious to have said yes. But that's kind of a general piece of that. And also one thing I love too is in the coaching world is there's no cap on the flow of money that gets to happen between, which I really love. And I think in the therapy world there's all the, again, the rules and regulations and what is the norm of, you know, charging and You know, I think the value of the money and energetic exchange that happens with coaching is really beautiful.
Yeah. And, and what it calls out of the client, right? Like what it—
yes.
Out of your clients. Yeah. Yeah. 100%. That's one of the, one of the difference, one of the differences that we just covered, like, um, especially in the work that like you're doing right now is like, if you get asked the question or, or for any of our listeners, who maybe asked the question would have like, well, hey, like, you know, um, this is a lot more than my therapist, or like, why is the price so different? Right? Um, you know, especially for like mindset coaches and people who are doing that really like deep kind of like woo quote unquote work. Um, I think it's important that like we are able to articulate to those people who are interested in, well, what's the difference? Like, why does this cost so much more? Well, it's two totally different ballgames, right? Like it's going to require you to do the work too, you know, and, and your level of commitment is a lot of times like, like equal to your level of investment, you know?
Um, 100%. Yes. And I feel there's this analogy and I'm going to share this because it just really, I love analogies. It helps, it helps my mind kind of have something tangible to hold on to, especially in this elusive type of world. And, you know, for me with Another difference between therapy and coaching, and you hit the nail on the head, is that kind of level of commitment is, and again, not to say that those who are in therapy aren't committed, but for a lot of people in therapy that happens, it is more of this, how do I say this? They are trying to stand up and start walking and they keep falling down. What a therapist does is like, here, let me help you get back up again. Learn how to walk on your own, so to speak. Learn how to walk on your own emotionally. Learn how to walk learn how to walk on your own in relationship, learn how to walk on your own and the falling back down again, it is almost like they, it is almost like this leaning on to the therapist that like, I need your help, I need your support. Again, nothing wrong with that. As you kind of travel along with coaching, it is more of I am in this position where I am at where I can walk on my own. Like, I can walk on my own. Sometimes I stumble and fall, but I can pick myself back up again. Now, I want to start like running and like jogging and running and flying in the direction that I want to be going into. So, when you hire a Coach, that person is helping you move faster and faster and faster toward what you want to go. We get to say, I strongly suggest you don't go in that direction because if that happens, you know, these are the things that could happen. So, it just helps them flow a lot even faster and faster and faster. So, the pace of it is really huge and also why the price of it is really big too, because I, I'm one of the things I love about my coaching, especially my one-on-one clients. Like, you get me in your back pocket for the whole time. You— we have our one-on-one calls, we have Voxer where you can message me. Like, you have someone right next to you while you're trying to fly in your life, and it's phenomenal.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I'm sure that Voxer would not be accepted in the therapy world, right?
No, no. And I love it because I want it to be No, and that is the beauty is I know that, I know if I have things going on in my life or maybe I don't respond to, and my Clients know I set all the boundaries and everything and expectations that if I don't, you know, respond right away or maybe they see me post on social media, but I haven't messaged them back, you know, it is very different things that I am doing or maybe it has been a day I haven't messaged back in the box or things like that. They're fine. They don't, they don't wait for me to keep moving. They keep moving. And then, you know, when I provide my insight, they'll get the insight, but they don't wait. They're going to keep moving. And I, I know, and I trust in that power of my clients that they, they're totally fine on their own, but they just want to move faster. And so they get to tap into, you know, my energy and my knowledge and my consciousness and all those pieces.
I love it.
It's so, so good. So good. Okay, so tell us a little bit about what you do as far as that, that woman-to-woman, like that, that intimacy coaching or that like sexual coaching that you do in entrepreneurs and like what the power of that work is there. I think that it's like an entirely new like level of consciousness that a lot of us women are like waking up to as far as like owning who we are, owning our worth, our womanness, right? So, can you tell us about that some?
Yes, I am just all smiles because I love this work so much and I love how you said owning our womanness and, you know, as I said in the beginning, we have a relationship with everything and, you know, as everything that we have, we are at the center of everything. We are at the heartbeat of everything that we have in our life and I know how to live life the opposite. I used to be a mega people pleaser, mega people pleaser, and then as an extension of that overachiever perfectionist, trying to make everyone happy so that I feel loved and accepted and all that kind of jazz and very outside in. Yeah, hand raise, like probably a lot of the women listening to this and very outside in type of living. I got to a place where I am like, this is not working, which is a whole other story. I just shared it and I hosted the Self-Love Summit in my free Facebook group and I share all the inner story of my whole life. There are tears and all that stuff. But this switch of doing life from the inside out, from your soul center, and really tapping into you, like what, what feels good for you, and connecting to yourself and repairing the relationship with yourself. Because so many of us have been in this place of self-abandonment for so long because nobody knew how to teach us how to be with our emotions, to be with ourselves, because, you know, our caregivers, their caregivers didn't teach them that. So, it gets generationally passed on and, you know, for me and the work that I do, it is not a joke with my Clients. I am like, I am not a surface level Coach. Like, we go deep in my world and very intimacy healing, like intimacy wounds and being able to be vulnerable and open your heart and receive. This impacts, you know, your relationship with a partner and being able to share your wants and needs and desires and receive their love. In business, like, we don't think about, so many of us don't think about the power of, you know, our soul and our openness and our hearts and our vulnerability, and we focus a lot on the strategy that we try to go, okay, if I do this and if I do it that way and if I do more and, you know, the perfectionist part of us comes in again and overachiever part of us comes in again, and then we get frustrated, like, why aren't the clients coming and why isn't the money flowing in? It is because people can't feel you. If they can't feel you, then you are just another voice on the internet. So, helping women open, I know, helping women open their hearts so they can not only feel themselves, but feel safe to open, because if you open, then everything gets to flow in, which is fantastic. But we shut that all down because we don't want to be hurt and, oh my gosh, that is scary and the judgment and the what-ifs, what-ifs happen.
Oh, the judgment. Yeah, that one is so strong. The judgment. What will people think?
Right?
What will my family think? Well, if I say this on like Instagram, what will my audience think? Right? Or even like, like for, for business owners that have been at it for a while, well, if I change my structure, or if I do this differently, like, what will my clients think? Or, you know, and it's so much of that judgment and that people pleasing that can creep back in. So I love the way that you just described that as like, let's just like, it's not about the perfect strategy. It's not about having all the right things in place. It's not the extra funnel or the extra this or extra that. Being open, right? It's opening your heart and allowing, allowing the universe or God or whatever, right, to be able to flow to you and let your energy flow out as much as it, as much as you're allowing it to flow in, you know. That's a beautiful, beautiful description of that. I know like whenever I start working with clients, a lot of times they're like, well, Lindsay, like what, you know, how do I respond to this message? Or like, what do I do next? Or like, what did you think? And I'm like, well, what do you think? Like, what do you want to do? You know? And I know it's so funny because after, after people will work with me for a while, they'll say, well, I'm pretty sure I know what you're going to answer to this. Like, I'm pretty sure I know what you're going to say, you know? And, but I want to know like, what do you, what do you think? Right? If you could have it your way, What would you say? You know, if you knew that you couldn't fail, if you knew that you couldn't fuck it up, right? Like, what would you be saying? How would you be showing up? You know? So that really is a game changer for whatever you are trying to live, you know, to someone else's standard of perfection and someone else's standard, like what it means to be a Coach or be a woman or be bold or whatever, right? Like, what is your standard of it? You know? What do you want?
Yes, and it's a huge— I love, love, love this. And doing, you know, coming back to your own truth, and this is, you know, why I love this work too. It's like so delightful, and it's so delightful just seeing and witnessing women trust themselves and trust their voice and know that everything's going to be okay. And this is a very You know, if we dip into any of masculine and feminine energies, that the feminine energy is this place of trusting and knowing and receiving and being in pleasure and allowing, and rather than doing the, the do, do, do, which is in the more of the masculine, actually is more in the wounded masculine place. And so it's realizing that just how powerful that we are as women. And, you know, at large, we're— we all subscribe to the small phenomenon button. Like, somehow we all hit this button and subscribe to let's play small, let's follow the shoulds. And realizing that, no, we get to take up space, and we— that all of our voices are so valuable. And I tell all my clients, I mean, you have a very unique energetic blueprint that you have, and, you know, clients are going to want to come to you, not to me. Me, even if we say the exact same things, but we actually really can't, that's impossible. But even if we're sharing the exact same things, your energy, your experience, your life that you have lived, your you is what is going to draw people to you, but they're not going to be drawn to you again if they can't feel you.
So yes. Oh, so good. You said something that I want to touch on because is a trending topic in the online space. And I think that these words are often thrown around, not out of like malignancy or anything, but just out like just because people don't know. But can you tell our listeners the difference, in your opinion, in your expertise, between feminine and masculine energies and wounded feminine and wounded masculine? Because you said something Oh, go, go, go isn't necessarily masculine, right? That's the wounded masculine. So can you tell us your take on those and when and how those roles play out in our lives and in our work, right? Because it's not that we always want to be feminine or we always want to be masculine. Can you tell us how we want those things to play out and like what that balance is in business and in life?
Yes. Yes. So yummy. So The visual that I like to have, and another coach uses this visual, so I'm going to give, give her credit. But one of the things— so I have my Starbucks cup right now, and the way that I like to see it is, you know, the masculine is like the cup. It's the container, it's the structure, it's the support, it's the foundation. It allows the magic to be held, and the magic is the feminine. That's the like where I have my matcha tea in my cup. So it's like the liquid on the inside, it needs— our feminine energy needs this place of being held. So the feminine energy is our— it's the emotions, it's the, the pleasure that's in our bodies. It's that, as I mentioned before, the energies of trusting. And it's the non-tangible, really.
Masculinity, right?
Yeah, it's the creativity, it's the flow, it's the You know, it's the intuition, it's all these pieces. And the, the masculine structure, what we want to have is again that support. And what happens, you know, I was just talking to a client about this the other day, that when we have had experiences in our past where we have connected to masculine, especially masculine energy, in a way that has not felt supportive but instead suppressive, you know, this power over, whether you've had, you know, For me, I had a father who was very shaming, very, you know, my way or the highway, very, you know, your, like, power over. And so my relationship with the masculine energy was like, oh my gosh, this is not safe, this is not okay. And then our feminine gets shut down because it's not safe to share our emotions, it's not safe to be ourselves, it's not safe to trust our voice because we're told that it's bad or wrong. Etc. And this happens for women if you had, you know, a, um, a power-over partnership and things like that. And so the— there's healing that needs to happen. I mean, this is a whole big conversation, but there's a healing that needs to happen on the inside to trust in that, especially the masculine energy within ourselves, which means that we aren't going to shame ourselves, we are not going to shut ourselves down, and therefore go into that go, go, go place, the do, do masculine, the wounded masculine being like your perfectionist side, meaning I have to be perfect, or the overachieving side, meaning I have to do all the things, I need to fix all the things, I need to do, do in order to be enough. And but then it suppresses that flow and creativity and the emotions and the pleasure and all of the pieces. So that's a very big way to explain all that. And there's of course more avenues to go down. But yeah, it's— and one of the things I do want to say is one of the things that we don't realize is how that impacts into our business, because money is a masculine energy and money is meant to support us. Money is meant to support the magic that we have. Money is meant to be here to allow us to really expand out as big as we can get, but But if we have a bad relationship with masculine energy, then we feel like, I don't want money to come in, even though we do want money to come in. I don't want money to come in because I feel like it has power over me. Or I had a client the other day that she was like, I'm actually afraid of my business getting bigger because I don't want, I don't want me to disappear. Because she was used to in her relationships in the past that when his voice or his power got bigger, she had to She got small and shrink. And so healing her relationship with that masculine energy to know that, no, there's space, that, you know, masculine is here to support you. So as your business gets bigger, you're not going to drown, you're not going to disappear, you're not going to cease to exist. Your voice still matters here, that there's, there's space for it all. It gets to be a both/and situation.
Both/and.
Yeah, yeah. You get to be you with your you-ness, right? And you get to create large and large amounts of money and be wealthy and be supported by that wealth, right? You get to have both.
Oh, that was so beautiful.
I love that. I love it so much. Like whenever you did the Starbucks representation, like with the cup, I'm thinking of like an over— like having that wounded masculine where you just have so much, like so much rigidity and you're stifling that flow. It would be like having a cup and then put the smaller cup inside of it and then put another smaller cup inside of that one and then put another one and like just like cup, cup, cup, cup, cup, cup, cup. Well, guess what? You're gonna fill up that entire cup where you can't put your matcha tea in there, right? Or you can't put your water in there, right? So it's like you have all this rigidity and like, and you're just boxed in and there is no room for that creativity and that trust and that intuition and that, that beauty, right? Our energy to flow through. So thank you for that representation. I think it like deepened my own understanding of it. That was really good. And that will help so many of our listeners who have— because gosh, you know, I don't know how active you are on Instagram, but like, there's a lot of information out there, right? A lot of these going around. And it's so easy to think that, oh, well, like masculine is bad and like feminine is good. And it's not that, right? Like, I have to have structure, This is my structure in my office right now. This is where I come to let my creativity flow, right? This is a safe space for me to come in here and do the things that I need to do. Sorry, y'all, you are hearing my calendar go off right now. Um, but yeah, like, we have to have both. We get to have both.
Yeah.
Yes, it— and I— there's so much on there. And I think, as you said, masculine energy gets to— it gets this bad rap, and that's not what we want. It's this And, you know, to even kind of simplify this, especially if this idea of the masculine-feminine energies is new to some of you who are listening, is, you know, and overly simplified, is masculine is doing energy and feminine energy is being. This is the resting. And so many of us feel guilt about resting, feel guilt about pleasure, feel guilt about being and doing nothing because so much value has been put on doing that, not only in your life, but, you know, in the culture at large. There's, you know, there's like, oh my gosh, I got X, you know, only 2 hours of sleep, or oh my gosh, I worked 60 hours, and it becomes this like gold medal. And to be, to be an entrepreneur who is in alignment with heart over hustle, which hustling to try to make it work, instead being in alignment with that heart and feminine energy, it takes bravery because like for me, like my calendar, if I pulled it open, I think I have probably 8 scheduled meetings this week. That is it. That is it. That doesn't mean that is all I am working. Like I flow and do work around that. But in the face of, you know, one of my friends, she just told me she worked 60 hours a couple of weeks ago and I am just like, oh my gosh, my heart is like breaking for you. But to allow yourself to be and to rest and to trust that that is the place where the doing comes from. So for me, when I'm like sitting at the coffee shop, I sit at the coffee shop every morning, except this morning I slept in because it was all gloomy outside and it was so yummy. But I sit at the coffee shop and I journal and I sit with myself and I'm with myself and I go on walks out in nature for like an hour. I, you know, I take baths, I do these things to help me connect to me, right? Which on the surface could look like quote unquote self-care, like, oh, bubble baths and things like that., but I do it with the intention of connecting with myself, connecting with my soul self, getting into that feminine energy. And then the ahas come up, then the inspiration of what to do next in my business comes up, then the post that I want to write is going to come out. And so when you anchor your doing into that feminine heart and being, then it's so much more powerful than just doing and grabbing and trying to make things work because that is, then that is just surface doing. Then, like you said, you just add more and more cups and then it just doesn't work. Well, it does. You can, but you are just going to be burnt out and you are going to hate yourself and hate everybody and you are going to have no connections and you are going to be the millionaire that is like, I have money, but I don't have anybody.
My life sucks.
Yeah.
It's gonna be miserable.
Absolutely.
We don't want, we don't want that. Success without sacrifice is what I like to say.
We don't want that at all.
Like, we can have both. We get to have both. So for the listener, for the woman mostly, or the coach entrepreneur who is starting to feel maybe that, that, that need to be doing more, that need to be filling up her calendar, maybe she needs to launch the group program, or she should start a podcast, or maybe she needs to go and like get on TikTok, like she's feeling like she needs to fill up her calendar with more things to do. What sort of guidance would like you, would you give her for her to come back to her soul self?
Like what would you say to her?
Mm, such a good question. And I have, I have a story and I have, you know, guidance I want to say around this. And so first with the guidance is one of the biggest things that has been helpful for me and the clients I work with is to really start to get curious curious about which part of you is driving that action that you're wanting to do. So say if, you know, you're starting to feel, uh, well, I need to post. Let's do with posting. Oh, I need to post, I need to post, and I need to post every day, you know, or else I'm not going to sell this program that's coming up. It's like, okay, so taking that moment and recognizing that energy and asking which part of me is driving You know, is this my, you know, the overachiever in me that is saying that unless I do a lot, then I am not going to receive? We place conditions on receiving that I have to do more in order to receive. For the ladies who have been in my world a long time, they know when I say "in order to," that means we have gotten off track. So, which part of you was driving this? Because we have, as I've mentioned before and we've talked about, right, people pleaser in us. We have the perfectionist in us. We have the overachiever in us. And what we want to access in, in my brand and in my world is the soul queen in us. The soul queen is the one who's connected to her soul self, her intuition, and her power and her humanness, because she's living here in this human world. And so when you notice what part of you is being activated, then you can start then asking, okay, well, what What does my soul know to be true in this moment? What does my soul believe about this right now? Oh, my soul knows that I don't need to post all the time because, you know, there's momentum that's already been built with all the posts that I put out there. And right now, it's, it's not actually about posting right now. Right now, actually, what would really be so delicious is to go take a nap because I'm tired and I'm exhausted and I really just want to take care of myself. That would feel so good. And then trusting that, trusting that comes in that. And I'm not saying this is an easy thing, you know, if this is very new to you, it takes some work to access that truth of your soul and then take action on it. But asking which part of me is driving this, which part of me is being activated. Like if you're wanting to put a post out there and you want to say something but you don't really say all of it, you kind of edit the words or you like cut some of it out because you're, what if someone's going to judge me? What part of you Hello, people pleaser. Okay, what is my people pleaser fearing right now? Well, that people are going to judge me, they're going to hate me, and then everyone's going to leave me, and then I'm going to be all by myself, and I'm going to have that abandonment wound be triggered again. Okay, so instead of leading with my people pleaser, I'm going to lead with my inner soul queen. And what would she do in this situation? Oh, I would just fucking say all of this. Okay, well, let's do that then. Or sometimes what I tell my clients is, you know, you don't have to take the big, big, big leap or big step on things. Sometimes it's maybe you don't say everything in that post that you wanted to, but maybe you say a little bit more than you would have if your people pleaser was leading the show. So taking small steps of expansion is better than taking steps of contraction. Yeah.
Oh, that was good. That was so good.
Can you say that again? Small steps of expansion?
Okay, say it again.
Yes, small steps of expansion is so much better than the steps of contraction because we, we, right, the people pleaser in us, the perfectionist, the overachiever, the part of us that wants to numb out and watch Netflix and shut things down and avoid ourselves, all of those things are protection strategies that we gained as little munchkins because we didn't know how to be with ourselves and feel our emotions or how to receive love by just being us or feel enough just by being us. And this work is about kind of shifting those protectors out of the way and coming back to your soul self and knowing that that is always correct and that is always right. And will other people always love it? No. Are some people going to judge you? Yes. Are some people not going to grow with you? Yes. And that's for me, I would rather be myself and be with the people who are in support of that than morph myself into somebody else because I've spent way too many years doing that and it is exhausting. Yes.
Oh, this has been so good. Thank you so much for coming on and sharing this with us. I am feeling like so inspired actually. I'm like, oh, what does my soul self want right now? Like, I think I want to go eat some lunch. You know, like, what do I want right now? So thank you for that.
Where—
yeah, where can our listeners come connect with you? Where can they soak up more of your goodness?
And where can they be a part of your community?
Yes. And oh, and I want to— I just remembered, I forgot to tell my little story, but I don't know if we have time for that.
Yeah, it's fine.
Go ahead. We're good.
Awesome.
And then I'll—
and then I'll tell you where to find me. Okay, come into my world. But just the permission to, you know, take that time for yourself and, you know, allow yourself to be with that feminine energy in your soul self and know that that drives such beautiful action is— now I won't go into all the details because we'll be here too long, but one of the programs that I have that's coming out is my Self-Love Sanctuary program. And it was around the time that I, you know, planned to start launching it, etc. And but I just wasn't just feeling connected to it. Not that it's not amazing. And I know it's like fricking transformational, but I just wasn't connecting with this time of launching it. And past me would've been like, nope, I plan this. This is when it's happening. And, you know, gone through with it, kind of that pushing through. And instead I trusted that I know the connection with the launching of this program will emerge if I allow myself to be with myself a little bit more and find not seek out or hunt out the inspiration to do it, but allow, right? Just allowing it. And sure as shit, the whole thing came out of it. I did a new branding photo shoot, which was my new uplevel, my sexy and power. If you see on my Facebook and Instagram right now, there's lingerie pictures out there. And that was my next level. I'm like, here's my boobies and my booty. So, you know, being in that power place and empowering women, because I have another program all about pleasure and power. And So there was this whole experience. I went into a shop and it was awful and I felt just like not supported whatsoever. And, you know, the lighting was awful and it was just a horrible shopping experience. And, you know, I felt it was— I didn't shame my body for not feeling like I couldn't fit into the lingerie that they had because I've done a lot of inner body work and loving myself. But I, after date night with my husband, I told him, I'm like, I need to go home and I need to just be with myself because I'm feeling a lot of emotions around this. And I just laid in bed. I told myself sweet everythings to myself and my body because I was feeling so not held in that shopping experience and, you know, just cried. And I call them power cries, not ugly cries. We don't want to shame our tears and pass it on, power cries. And I just loved up on myself and was with myself. And then I asked my body because I always like to bring myself back to pleasure pleasure and not always have to be sexual pleasure, but just pleasure. And but at that time I did do some self-pleasure and just brought myself back to myself and it's going to bring tears to my eyes. And after all of that, my mind and my body was just like, now is the time to launch that self-love program. It felt so much more aligned because I loved up on myself and I just, I was needing to be brought into that next level of love for myself to feel connected to this next level of that program. And then I was just like so delighted. And then I started all the movement with the action of launching. And so that is a place of just an example of doing things from that loving, connecting, intimate connection, soul connection with yourself and trusting that the action will come if you trust and be connected with yourself. And Then, you know, now I'm in all the launching with that program. So that's how I decided to do it.
I like, you like literally brought tears to my eyes because I know what that's like. Like I relate to that so, so much having these heavy experiences, these heavy actions that are just like weighing down on us. And it's like literally like facing a wall. I'm like, I can't go forward. I literally cannot take another step forward. And then it's almost like we have to go down, down, down to come out and to feel connected to it again. And for you, you know, in that case, like, to feel— you had to like go through that to like feel connected to the woman that you're gonna be speaking to, right? To the woman that's gonna be coming into your space for that program.
So yes, exactly. Yes, I'm so happy. Thank you.
Yep.
And that's, that's the power. And it feels It's so good. And there's space. There's space for you and all that you do. There's space for your pleasure. There's space for your energy. There's space for your emotions. There's space for your voice. And there's space for all that. There's space for all the actions. It's— there's so much room for all of us in this world. And we forget that a lot of the time. So I thank you so much for having me on and letting me share that story.
Yeah.
Yeah, this has been amazing. I love it. I feel so nourished. Like, this has been wonderful.
I'm so happy. And yeah, so to join into my world, the best place to be right now, um, I do have an Instagram @drchelseypage, and, but the best place to be is on Facebook. So I have a free Facebook group called Soul Queens Rising, and it's a beautiful group. I closed down one of my old groups a while ago, and I opened this one a few months ago, and it is just so vivacious. It's a safe place, and It's a place where you get to feel held and be you and start to explore your femininity and start to explore your connection with your sexual self, with your emotions, with your soul self. And, you know, attend to the woman who's leading your business and leading your life. And, and this— it's one of my favorite places. And that's a really new, you know, friend me on Facebook, those kind of things. And and, you know, in that group you'll have access to some free training and whatever, you know, course is coming up next. Or my mastermind that I have is my Soul Queen Academy, and I have one-on-one coaching. And so, and just send me a message if you're curious about how to be in my world or what would be the best fit for you. And so I'm, I am easily reachable. I won't respond sometimes right away, but I'm easily reachable.
