She Lost 75 Pounds Without Extreme Dieting: The Patch + Peptide Strategy That Fixed Her Metabolism
27 Jan 2026 · 32 min
Courtney Green lost 75 pounds in a year using GLP-1 peptides, nightly metabolic patches, and lifestyle changes like walking and stress management. She started on semaglutide, switched to tirzepatide, and managed side effects with low-and-slow dosing. The real wins were energy, mood, and fixing insulin regulation, not just the scale.

Welcome to the Biohack Method. I am Lindsey Burwell. I break down the science, cut the fluff, and give you real tools to optimize your body with peptides, transdermal patches, and root cause biohacking that actually works. Welcome back to the Biohack Method podcast. Lindsay here, and I am so pumped today, you guys, because I have a really good friend of mine, actually, like, friends since I was, what, three years old? Four years old?
Yeah, third grade.
So young. I have Courtney Green on with me and I have been bugging and bugging and bugging her to come on the podcast because she's had the craziest transformation. Working with her and just witnessing the different modalities that we've added between peptides and patches and different fasting modalities. And it has. I've never in my entire life seen her transform this way. And I know she's tried so many different things. So in the sense of the new year where so many people are like, wanting to try something new, feel better, do this diet, do that diet, do this exercise, that exercise, I was thinking it might be so empowering and inspiring to have Courtney on because I know a lot of people, including myself, have tried a lot of different things. And so to hear from somebody who's also tried all the things and what actually started working, I thought would be so powerful as we started our year. So, Courtney, so happy you're on. Thank you so much for taking some time. I want to, like, let's take this all the way back from the beginning. Like, what was. When did you start feeling, I guess in your body? Like, I don't feel great. Like, I am exercising, I'm eating well, but, like, why is my metabolism, why is my inflammation high? Like, do you recall, like, when that started in your life?
Yeah, I would say probably summer of 2024 is when I really started feeling. I mean, I'd felt lousy before then, but that was when I started feeling like I've got to do something about this, you know, continue on this path. So I was kind of when it real really started feeling like it needed. I needed to make a change.
And what was your, like, lifestyle? Like, what was your diet like? Like, were you doing anything? Like, were you trying anything? Wasn't working?
Not really. I've had, to your point, a long history kind of of just, you know, health concerns and struggles with losing weight and body image and self esteem and all the things mental health. Right. So I just, yeah, I didn't eat well, to be honest. I'm A very bus, very active lifestyle, but just not a lot of time to prioritize myself. So, yeah, I was not taking care of myself. Not eating right, not exercising, just kind of going through the motions and clearly was not taking care of myself.
I think that happens to a lot of us. Like, honestly, I think because life does get so busy, especially if you are a mom, like, you can easily get into that. Like you're just on autopilot, like you're waiting absolutely else. And then like, you know, you're not thinking and planning and meal prepping. You're like just trying to make it through the day. And I really, really believe, like the problem is the world we live in today. Like, you just can't be on autopilot. Well, like, you can, but like you're gonna experience like just the fallout from that, truly. Because.
Yes.
Yeah. Because of our food, because of the stuff in all of our products, because of the stress that we're under. Right. And so it's just even more important to like be more intentional. But I'm curious, like, let's take it back even further. So when you were like, I've tried other things and I've had other seasons, like, because I remember. Well, when you lived in Arizona, like you had, you had like, did you have knee surgery in Arizona or did you have. I did.
I had my second knee surgery in Arizona.
And I feel like. Didn't you do something right before that? Like, or maybe it was after, like some type of program?
Yeah, I think that was the Red Mountain weight loss that you're referring to. That I tried. Yeah.
Yeah. Okay, so what was that like? And, and what were your results from that?
Gosh, that was a while ago. So it was, it was, you know, I saw like a physician every week checked in, right? Got like vitamin B12 shots and it basically was their grams. So I had to follow kind of their diet, their guidelines, like did all the things, you know, that, that I was supposed to. I did have success with that. I did lose weight, but then I just fell right back to old habits. Right. Like, I quit going to Red Mountain weight loss and then the weight just came back. So it was short lived.
And like, tell us what are you doing now? Like, what are, what's your protocol now that you've been doing for. Has it been a year or how long?
Yeah, I'm just over a year now. I started December 2024. So yeah, just been over a year and completely different. I mean, my relationship with food, my relationship just with myself is night and day. Definitely, like, a transformation I haven't had before, because I think, like, the biggest thing and. And I'm sure we'll dive into this more is, like, the food noise. That's always been something for me. I'm an emotional eater. I'm a stress eater. So with the fact that, like, I live such a busy life and I live a stressful life, like, I would go to food, and I don't do that anymore. Right. Like, I. I just don't. I don't need to. I had the cravings, and all of that is just. And so that's been just a huge transformation for me. So, yeah, I eat now to nourish my body, to fuel my body. Not stuck in those bad habits anymore.
Yes. Did you ever have, like, any moments during this journey, like, where you're like, why is it so hard for me to, like, lose weight? Or why is it so hard for me to have, like, a fast metabolism but it looks so easy for everyone else?
Yeah, it's, like, crazy to think about even, like, 10 years ago, remember when I would, like, go to the doctor and, like, remember when they put me on Metformin to try to help me lose weight because of my PCOS? Yeah. And so it's like. And my metabolism 10 years ago, you know, was probably in better shape than it is now in my mid-30s. But, yeah, so many moments where I questioned, like, you know, I. Even at moments where I was doing the right things, you know, and I was going to the gym and I was, you know, eating better and being more conscious, like, in, you know, in seasons where I was a little better about it and still just not seeing the results that I thought that I would. And it was so frustrating and so disheartening. Right?
Totally. I think that's really, like, women who come to me have that same feeling of, like, look, I am trying all the things, and, like, I just feel really stuck. And, yeah, that's so important to know is our metabol, like, we have two energy systems in our body. So we have glucose or we have fat. And so in order to, like, tap into fat stores for energy, we have to bring glucose down. We have to regulate insulin. And the problem with most of us, like, 90% of 97, really of Americans, is that we do have elevated glucose and dysregulated insulin. And when that happens, we're not ever going to burn fat. You can exercise all you want, but your body's going to prefer that glucose for energy. It's not going to use fat. And the things that like, cause that glucose and insulin to be high are stress snack, you know, like how many times had we heard diets of like three meals a day and two snacks? Like, and so, right, you're just eating your, you're feeding that glucose all day long. Anytime you eat. It could be protein, it could be fiber. Like your glucose is going to get elevated, you know. And so it's like we're snacking through the day, we are eating late at night, we're eating our biggest meal at night. Right. We're skipping breakfast. Like, we're doing all these things that are counterintuitive to blood sugar and insulin, which is why a lot of us face that. Like, man, I'm doing all this exercise but I'm not burning fat. And that's so important to know about peptides is that like glp, for example, they were not peptides designed for weight loss. It wasn't, they're not a weight loss drug. It's actually a peptide that's designed to regulate insulin and blood sugar. And what is the byproduct of regulated insulin and blood sugar. It's literally your body knowing how to burn fat. Right. And so to me, like, I really believe in done the right way with, you know, precision dosing. The right diet, the right lifestyle support is. It's actually like medicine. It's like so medicinal, it's so powerful, it's so healing. And I loved, I have loved watching it be literal medicine to you. So she goes, I have seen you, you know, through the stages of life where you.
All the years. Yeah.
Putting in work and you're not getting the, you know, you're not seeing the results of that work. And then also like you are trying other things that don't last. You know, I think that's what's. One more thing is so hard about like a hardcore diet that you can't replicate for 360 days. If you can't, if you're starting a diet that you can't do all year long, it's, you're going to experience that fallback, you know. And so with peptides, like, it's really less about specific changes and more about supporting blood sugar, insulin and. Yeah, yeah, of course some of that appetite, which you can do anytime, you know.
Yeah, yeah.
For everything. So I am so curious, like, did you, did you have any skepticism before starting like a glp? And which GLP did you start with?
I started with the GLP1. Yeah. Yep. And I did, I did have a little bit of skepticism, I think just Because I've tried other things in the past, you know, and it's like, I might have success in that moment or for a little bit. Right. But I watched, like, your sister go through her transformation, which was huge and very encouraging and motivating for me, but I think I had to kind of sit back and watch that for a little bit, you know what I mean? Like, fully buy off on it myself, to jump in, you know, at first for myself. So, yeah, a little bit. But also a lot of optimism just, you know, due to success. I had already seen also firsthand, you.
Remember, like, how you felt when you first started. Like, do you remember what dosing? And, like, did you feel. Oh, my gosh. A lot of people are like, I felt so sick or I didn't feel sick or whatever. I'm curious. Like, for you.
Yeah. It took me a little bit to figure out the dosing. Like, I remember you saying, like, low and slow. And it's like, I think I really took that low and slow. Like, so literal, because I just, like, it started with such a low dose and, like, unit.
Yeah.
Like, I was, like, barely doing anything, you know, and, like, I was just. Yeah, I was trying to figure it out. So I remember in the very beginning stages having, like, some nausea here and there. Like, nothing. Every. Anything that was hardcore. But that's, like, even feels so long ago now to think about.
And. So how long were you on semaglutide before? Did you go to.
Oh, my gosh.
Or did you go to red? A true tide.
I went to the GLP3.
You went white to three. Okay.
Yep, yep, yep. I can't remember. I want to say maybe, like, around the halfway point or so maybe a little bit past it.
Okay. Yeah. So here's what's hard. A lot of people go on GLP3, and because it doesn't, it activates all three receptors, so it's focusing on right tight curb. It's also balancing blood sugar, but it's also activating that glucagon because it's doing three things in one. The appetite curve is not as intense as, like, semaglutide. So what was that like for you, switching from semaglutide to glp?
Yeah, I. So for one, I was kind of plateauing a little bit when I also made the switch. So I saw that plateau go away, which was amazing. And definitely no side effects, like, at all. A little bit more of an appetite that I noticed, but nothing that was, like, catastrophic. For a difference between the one and the three.
Do you feel like, like do you feel an Appetite curve on GLP3? I'm. I'm curious because a lot of people don't feel a curve.
Yeah. I don't feel like I know like others that are on it that feel it more than I have for sure. But then it's like I think back to. And I think that's another thing.
Right.
This journey is like I think back to like well wait, what, what did I feel like before this? Right. Because it starts to become your new norm and so you kind of start to forget. So it's like yes I had appetite suppressant but maybe not as much as some other people feel. Everyone's a little bit different too. For sure.
And some people don't need the appetite curve. So that's where do the glp. That's right for you and what you need. Some people like the munchies are like.
Huge like a serious problem.
Yeah. They need it to like for a lot of. A lot of things a lot of fulfillment purposes. And so the food noise is really loud. So that's where really serve a purpose there. Tirzepatite is really good because it is a balance of both. But again if you have a real big hunger like somaticide might actually be a really good one for you. And then retrue tide there's like almost no appetite curve. So it's good for people who already don't maybe have an appetite and maybe are like really just have that 5% left that they want to lose or maybe they just want to support their metabolic health. So that's where it's like. Or maybe they've plateaued in their body reception need to be switched up. So that's where it's good to kind of know where you're at, what your body needs and like when the switch. So that's really helpful. Okay, take me in to how long have you been on them?
So December of 2024 is when I started. Yeah, yeah, just. Just about. Yeah, just over a year.
That's amazing. Okay, tell me, do you care to share like what results have you gotten so far?
So on the scale which is like honestly even feels like the smallest victory because I've had so many but I have lost almost £75 which it's the most, you know amount of weight that I've ever lost before. So that has been obviously huge. But really it's the non scale victories that have spoken to me more truthfully like I am a different person. My husband's made comments over the last Year of like, I feel like I have my Courtney back, you know, which is very telling. I have more energy, I'm a better mom, I'm a better wife. Like, just overall, you know, truly, it's changed just everything, right? My perspective, my relationship, my self esteem, Just a lot of wins, honestly.
That's awesome. Do you have access to like one of those in body scans that measures like body fat versus muscle?
I haven't done one before. I know what you're talking about. I've heard of them, but I haven't done one and I, I wish I would have. Honestly, I didn't even measure, like, I didn't even do like body measurements. And I wish I would have because there's been times where it's like the scale isn't really moving. But I know better, right? I can tell in my clothes. Like, I know I'm losing inches.
Yeah, no, yeah. £75 is insane.
Like, that's a lot of weight.
With. When was like anything else you've done in the past, like had you lost anything near that or what that looked like?
Yeah, there's a, there was a program I did before where I did lose close to 60 pounds. So that, I mean, obviously was a huge weight loss as well. But I gained all of that back and it did not even take me long to gain it back. And it was because of the program that I did. You know, it didn't, it wasn't sustaining changes, it wasn't, you know, transformational. It was really just a calorie deficit. I was basically starving myself and then I went back and boom, you know, know, before I knew it, the weight was back on.
And that's where like peptides are not a diet. It's, yeah, fixing the blood sugar and when you fix the root cause, your body learns like how to metabolize, how to burn fat. And that's where, yeah, you know, people can titrate off and still hold a lot of good results. So what have you thought about like, and this is like literally girlfriend to girlfriend, no judgment, but like, about, are you going to get off of it? Like, what's your plan with that? Because here's the other thing. So many people ask me, how long should I be on this and get off? And I'm telling you, my point of view, my point of view is like most people will get on the peptide. I feel like the average, where they really hit momentum, like month two and three, like momentum hits and really feel good at month four. And then what I notice is most people feel so Good.
Yeah.
Like, why would I get off? So. So what I always say is, like, think of it like vitamin C. You have vitamin C in your arsenal for, like, when your immune system needs a boost. Right. And so when you're sick, you take an extra dose of vitamin C with the peptide. Like, maybe you don't take it forever, but, like, maybe you have it in your arsenal for when you need a little booster. Right? Yeah, that's what I'm finding. I. I've had a few people get off completely. They're great and on their way. But I think it's interesting because inflammation is rooted in blood sugar. Like, what happens is a few weeks later, you're not going to gain 75 pounds back, but, you know, a little inflamed. You know, you just feel a little off, and then you're like, I feel like I just need a boost.
Yeah.
Have you kind of thought about, like, do you have a certain goal? Like, I want to get to £100 or what's your goal with this?
You know, I. I'm just about to hit my first, what you would say, goal weight. Right. But I also kind of just throwing that out the window because I'm kind of just going off of, like, how I feel, feel and, like, how I look. Right. And how I feel in my clothes and, like, all those things. And so I have a little bit longer, like, of a journey. Like, I have a little bit more that I'd like to lose. And honestly, just, you know, strengthening and toning, that needs to. More of that. That needs to happen. So I'm not done yet. I do remember kind of, like, wondering, like, how long I'd have to be on it.
Right.
It is an investment. Absolutely. I remember my husband kind of saying, like, how long are we going to pay for this? Right?
So pay for me being happy, babe.
Now he does not care. I'm like, I ordered another vial. He's like, okay. You know, it's just like, we invest in this because it's made such a difference for me and for our family. But I don't have any plans. I think that I will always keep something on, on board, honestly. And, like, even through the holidays, you know, I wasn't perfect. You know, I allowed myself to indulge here and there. And that's another reason. Like, another reason I can tell, like, I've made a change, right. Is because I allowed myself to have a tree and not feel bad about it. Right. But it helped me. I haven't gained, like, any weight over the holidays. You Know. Yeah, it's. And, like, who. Like, not a lot of people can say that. Right. Unless, like, you're seriously putting in the work, too. But, you know, the holidays are a time, right, with more food. And so, like, even just having it on board for times like that, even, it just, like, you know, you've got something backing you up.
See, it's. It's so true. Like, I was, like, on. So many people go through the holidays and feel so inflamed, and then.
Oh, yeah.
You know, having this tool in your tool shed is, like, really wonderful. Also, like, to have the food noise away. It's really interesting, the research on that. It's showing, you know, because our neural pathways aren't so addicted to sugar and food.
Yeah.
Well, to open up and expand different neural pathways into other things in your life, which is so incredibly amazing for longevity because. Yeah. Like, I'm bored, I'm sad, I'm hungry. I'm like, you go to food instead of that, your brain's like, you might need to go on a walk or you should start a new craft. Or, like, you. You create habits, and so that's creating new pathways. It's so.
Yeah, I. I can speak to that. I mean, like, Christmas night, I was like, ooh, okay, let's go on a walk. And it's Oregon, and it was cold and dark and kind of wet, and my dad was like, I'll go with you. And, you know, Kinsley came, and we took the dogs and we went on a walk. And that would have never been something I would have done before. Right. So absolutely love that.
Okay. Have you tried it? I don't even know. Have you tried any other peptides, or is it just glp?
Yeah, just GLP so far.
Yay. Have you thought about other ones? Are there ones?
I mean, I'm always tempted. Sometimes Lauren will give me a little something, you know, when I come over. So I have tried others. I just haven't, you know, officially started stocking any myself, but it is something. Yeah, definitely. I'll explore more in the future. I think I've just been, like, focused on, you know, getting myself to kind of, like, a good point. And. Yeah.
Oh, my gosh. I bet, like, your co workers see it, too, because you're probably, like, changing right in front of them. Like, whoa. Courtney.
Yeah. I mean, I work remotely, so I don't see my co workers, but I've saw people, you know, just, like, at my kiddo's school or, like, at dance competitions. Right. And I've definitely had Some comments of people. Actually, you know what was the craziest thing I had is my daughter's friend had a birthday party, and I was there, you know, like, last year, and then I was there this year, and she came up to me and she was like, were you at this party last year? And I was like, yeah. And she was like, I thought that was you, but I barely recognized you. And I remember just. I was like, on cloud nine, you know, to have a stranger, basically. Like, someone I had met before, but, like, I. I couldn't even tell you her name, you know?
But you look in the mirror and hardly recognize yourself. Like, you're.
Yeah, yeah. It's even like, when I go to order clothes, my husband has to, like, convince me, like, order the smaller size, because I myself can't believe that, like, that's the size I need to order. Right.
Yeah. So, yeah. Okay. And patches, I feel like. Yeah. And, like, loving and absorbing patches. And here's why.
Absolutely.
You've had great results, too, with the transdermal patches, is because, you know, sometimes when we have that metabolic dysfunction where we're stuck, it comes from our liver.
Yeah.
So interesting to do, like, a liver scan on you, but I kind of wonder if you were not absorbing.
I think there could have been something there for.
For sure. I mean, it's like liver glucose. All of it's so interconnected. Your glucose glycogen gets stuck in your liver. It can keep you stuck. The patches, like, are transdermal, getting right in the bloodstream. Like, you absorb them right away. So tell me, what are your favorite patches you're using?
Oh, my goodness. Okay, so detox every night. Every single night. I have a detox patch on. And cortisol, it's just the new MVP for me. I stinking love the cortisol patch, you know, because I'm still like, yes, I've made a transformation, Right. And my life has changed in a lot of very positive ways. But I'm still busy and I'm still stressed sometimes. Right. So the cortisol patch, I mean, you do what I used to do for work. Implementation Q4 is very busy for me, so slapping one of those on and helping me get through my workday just focused and a lot calmer. My husband will even make comments like, do the cortisol patch on today? No. Okay. Can you go put one on?
Another important thing. And I'm facing it. This is like. Like, fresh off the press. I. You probably saw me on Instagram during. I had the hustle of the holidays. Which we all have.
Yes.
Plus we had so much going on within like the business and then it was like kind of over training in my workouts. Yeah. My body really hit a high of cortisol. It's so hard though because I'll be like, I don't feel stressed, but my body was.
Yes.
Guess what happened? My body started retaining water and I was like, this is weird. I'm not eating differently. But I like felt health, inflammation and water retention specifically. Yeah. It's like I knew, I already knew. I was like, this is cortisol. Like, yeah, cortisol from over training stress and like your body is, is going to hold on to water to preserve like your organs and your, and your. It's like a survival mechanism. So I started thinking about women also in the world who are trying to lose weight and feel better and their high cortisol levels are keeping them stuck.
Yeah.
Like it's, it is not always about what you eat and exercise, but we also have to support those areas like our nervous system. Like we are absolutely. We're spirit, we're emotional beings. Like we aren't just these like bodies. Right. And not like losing weight is the only thing we need to care about. But why it's important because when you feel stuck metabolically, it can create brain fog. You're not able to fully show up for your life because you don't feel great. Right. Still when you feel inflamed. I don't know about you, when I fall inflamed, like I'm. Like I'm in a haze for the day. Yeah. And so it's like supporting those pathways is. Yes. Weight loss is nice. Fitting into good clothes is nice. All of that is wonderful. But really it's that you experience a better quality of life because you can think more clear, you can show up.
That's true.
You can hold more space, you can love harder. And that's been like all your non skill victories is it's like I am more present in my life. Like it feels good to be lighter. Yes. But like I, I'm more fully like present really. And so, yes. That's why I'm like really obsessing with the cortisol patch right now.
I love it.
I'm like, we live in a world already that's stressful. We're already doing a lot, you know, and our nervous system does need to downregulate and our culture also doesn't praise like that. Settling in and regulation. And it's like, go harder. Okay, a few more questions. Tell me about your workouts. What are like your favorite things to move your body right now?
So truthfully, that's the area I think that has been the biggest struggle for me. I am pretty much just walking and just making a conscious effort to move my body more. I have a walking pad at my desk, so I walk while I work. I've been at my desk quite a bit the last couple of months, especially just being in my busy season of work. So having my walking pad has definitely made a difference, especially with these like, like, you know, cold Oregon months. But yeah, pretty much just getting outdoors, walking and that's about it. I did CrossFit for a little bit, broke my arms. So that was a little bit of a setback for me. So it's a goal for me for 20, 26 to. To just up that more strengthen tone. You know, that's kind of the next step for me in. In this journey.
I'm going to encourage you to like, not do CrossFit. Yeah, no. Hate on CrossFit. I actually love the workout. I just don't think that is the play for every day. I come at this with like, I've been training for Hyrox, which is very similar to CrossFit. It is very stressful on the body if that is your primary source of exercise. And some bodies have. We all have very different thresholds on what we can handle with stress. I think a little bit is amazing. Too much of it is not good, but like, yeah, go even just going slow, lifting up. Starting with five pound dumbbells. Yeah. Like seven and a half. Going to ten. Like, you don't need to go and swing the bars and do all the things. And also low key. Like. Yeah, I'm always like, I'm gonna get hurt. Like this thing.
I just need. Yeah, I'm like, I just, I. I need to start small, you know, I've got to start somewhere and so I need to work up to being able to do something more. Yeah.
Yeah. Oh, my gosh. I love that so much. Okay, so we love cortisol. We love detox. I feel like I heard you talk about metabolism.
You were like, y. Yep. I kind of, I would say like my daytime patch, I kind of alternate between cortisol and metabolism. So like during the week when I'm working and I know I'm going to have more kind of like daytime stress, less up on a cortisol. But on the weekends, like right now I'm patched up with metabolism and so I kind of. Yeah, I alternate those. I have Immunity on sometimes. I mean, my. My bathroom drawer is chocked full of all the patches.
It's so fun. Are you okay? Do you have any big plans this year? Like, are you guys going on any trips? Are you guys coming to Arizona at all? What's your plan?
Arizona this year? But, yeah, we are in the talks of trying to figure out what to do and agree on something. We're all kind of on different wavelengths about what we want to do. But, yeah, something fun this summer for sure. Might make a trip out east for spring break. We'll see. Kind of working out details on things.
So, yeah, I was just thinking the other day, because Kurt and I were sitting down, like, planning out our year, and I was like, we don't really have any big trips. I have, like, a lot of little work trips that I want to go on, little conferences. I'm kind of, like, in my conference era. I feel like.
Yeah.
And I'm like, gosh. But I don't have, like, the drive normally. I'm like, let's go out of the country. Let's do all these things. But I'm still like. I think I also over traveled Q4.
Last year, so I'm like, yeah, a lot of traveling. I think 2024 overall for you was a big travel year, so it makes sense.
So much travel, which I love.
Yeah.
Like, even, like this funny. Like, Christmas, we slowed down. It felt so good.
So nice.
It was so nice. I even like decorations up longer than I normally.
Yeah.
Because I was like.
Yeah.
Ready to, like, get back at it, you know?
I know. I feel that even my husband was off work, which never happens, but it just so happens. Like, his semi was in the shop, and so he wasn't working during Christmas break. And so I had both of them home with me, which was interesting. Yeah. But, like, it is so nice just to slow down. Yeah. And, like, I'm used to my routine without you being here.
But my friend about this, we were working out this morning, and she was like, yeah, like, I'm ready for my.
Husband to go back to work.
I get that. Like, we have a little bit.
It's definitely been nice to have the extra quality time and, like, an extra set of hands around the house just because he does work a lot, and I'm solo parenting quite a bit, you know? But it is just so nice to slow down and have the slow mornings and just the break from the hustle and bustle, especially as we're heading into dance comp season. So we're about to really, you Know, gear up with that and be gone, you know, all weekend, every weekend again. So it was a good time to kind of slow down.
Yeah. 100. To enjoy it. I love that. Okay. Yeah. With. Tell me, Courtney. I love to ask people, because a lot of people are like, what does biohacking mean? And I think biohacking really can mean anything to the extent of we're utilizing diet lifestyle tools to kind of hack your body to its most ideal state. And that could be physically, mentally, emotionally. But it's just like, how do you want to show up, up? And, like, how do you want to feel? Right? So I want to ask, like, what does your most biohacked self look like? Like, how does she look? How does she feel? What are the things that she does? Like, what does it mean for you if you were to be like. Like, let's say you achieved it. Like, I am my most biohack self. Like, what would that look like?
Yeah. Yeah. I think, honestly, like, I feel so much more confidence in my skin today, but just getting to that ultimate, like, I'm here, right? Like, I made it. Like, this is exactly where I want to be. I look how I want to look in clothes. I feel how I want to feel.
Yes.
But I think just, most importantly, just being the best version of myself that I can be for myself, for my kids, for my husband, for my friends and my family, you know, and just really feeling like, just made that full transformation. I'm. I'm getting there. I'm, you know, I'm feeling so much better, but just hitting that final, like, I really made it. It's coming. It's coming. It's going to happen in 2026.
I'm so happy for you, and thank you for hopping on. I feel like there's so many women out there, especially ones that I work with, that are like, man, I am doing all the things and feeling stuck or even just feeling like sometimes there is, like, layers of guilt and shame of, like, I've done everything and I have failed. Right?
Yeah.
It's like that alone can be so suffocating and isolating because you're like, I did that diet. I did that diet.
It really can. Yeah. Or it's like, people have watched me do things before. Right here.
I.
Again. Yeah.
Yo, yoing and all the things. And it's like, shaming, guilt definitely doesn't help. But just to be seen of, like, you know, you. If you don't address the root cause, which, like, literally, if you want to burn fat, you have to address glucose so yeah, if you're just doing a hardcore calorie deficit like and maybe you didn't experience results, maybe that is okay. It's your body's way of like telling you that we didn't fix the root cause here. So.
Right.
Actually do the. Do the real work. And so I love that. You're the best. I can't wait to see you. I'm thinking when are we going to Oregon? For sure. This summer. We love it.
I was going to say at least July. We'll see.
Love and Oregon trip in the summer and then who knows, you know, I love flying into Eugene. That's like my new.
I know. It's quiet. It's nice, right? Yeah. Way better than pdx.
I here. I'm here for the small airports. Like yes. Now get a rental car. Although PDX just had a big facelift. It's so pretty. I love it.
Oh my gosh, it's gorgeous. We'll be there Saturday, so. Yeah.
Okay. Well, have an amazing new year. Thanks for chatting and sharing.
Thank you for having me. Truly appreciate it. And yeah, if I can just help encourage, you know, one person that's maybe on the fence. Go for it. It's worth it. And invest in yourself because you're worth it and you deserve it.
