In this short YouTube video, Lois Letchford—who identifies herself as the author of Reverse: A Memoir and a literacy problem solver—introduces herself and then reads Shel Silverstein's poem "Sybil the Magician" from the collection Falling Up. She narrates the whimsical tale of Magician Sybil, whose rabbit becomes so emaciated that when she attempts a magic trick, the rabbit pulls her into the hat, causing her to vanish. The performance ends with a brief, light‑hearted call‑to‑action asking viewers to like, subscribe, and share the video.

Hello, I'm Lois Letchford, author of the book Reverse: A Memoir and literacy problem solver, reading from Shel Silverstein's Falling Up. Sybil, the magicians. Last Show. Magician Sybil was much too cheap to buy her rabbit a carrot. He grew so thin, just bones and skin. So starved, he couldn't bear it. And so, as she reached into her hat to grab him by the ears, she felt a tug. She felt a pull. And whap! She disappeared. The greatest act we've ever seen! We cheered for Magician Sybil, but all that remained was a hat and a cape and the sound of a bunny going nibble, nibble, nibble. Thank you. Hit like, hit subscribe, and share.
