Reed Hastings sees AI as an authoring accelerant for prototyping, like a better Photoshop for faster show creation. He expects it to move up the stack from low-level tasks to junior roles to senior ones, with animation hit first.

AI will help us be more creative. We'll be able to produce more shows using those tools. It's an authoring essentially accelerant. We tend to use AI as just like a better Photoshop, especially prototyping. We haven't used it really in final production at this point, but it's pretty incredible at the prototyping level to be able to imagine the scenes. Do you see yourself using it in the final production stage? Yeah, absolutely. And so all the low level tasks will get transformed. And in general in the legal field, first it's search like LexisNexis and then it's the paralegals and then it's the first year attorneys and then the junior partners and eventually AI is coming for the senior partners. Right. So, you know, think of it as moving up the stack as it gets more sophisticated and it's the same thing. You know, we've had a lot of people who draw animation. You know, that's one of the first areas that gets hit. And then it moves up the stack in more and more creative areas as we and others can use those tools for better entertainment.
