30 Rich Girl Habits I'm Embodying to Become a Millionaire in My 30s
4 Aug 2025 · 56 min
Solo episode by Madison J. (Madison Aldini) outlining 30 habits she plans to embody in her 30s to grow net worth toward a millionaire milestone. The episode mixes practical personal-finance actions (track net worth, invest regularly, take calculated risks, add systems/team, avoid FOMO spending) with mindset and lifestyle habits (give less weight to others' opinions, do scary things, visualize, gratitude, prioritize sleep, health, marriage, community, publishing a book, building a personal brand and content skills). The framing emphasizes money as a tool for freedom and impact rather than an end in itself.

I kind of miss you guys. I miss having a solo conversation with you. And I couldn't think of a better time to sit down and talk with you guys about my life. Because if you're listening live, welcome. It's the first week of August. It's Leo season. It is not only my birthday this week, it is my 30th birthday. We are heading in to an entirely new decade. That feels wild to say. Like to close a chapter on my twenties and entering into my thirties. I am scared. I am excited. I don't know if I'm scared necessarily. It just feels like the unknown. I know that so much of my life is going to continue to change in my 30s. I picture my 30s really being a time where my business is taking off and my family is growing and life is just getting bigger. Getting, I'm sure, more complicated. But also I feel like I'm just stepping into a new chapter of becoming even more me. Even more me. Like twenties has been incredible. I'm so grateful for all the experiences that I've had in my 20s. I have learned, I've grown, I have found my husband, I found some of my best friends. I feel like I found financial success. I was able to get out of debt. I was able to start my own business. Like so much goodness has come from my 20s and I just know that even more goodness is going to come from my 30s. I think obviously there is part of simply deciding. I feel like that is a big energy I'm having heading into this new decade. Into my birthday week is just simply deciding this is going to be an incredible decade. This is going to be a decade full of personal growth and development. It's going to be a decade of finding myself more my friends, my people, my community, my family, my future kids. There is just a lot of excitement that comes with my and I'm kind of ready for it. I feel like I've always kind of been a little bit older for my age, always hung out with older people. I feel like when I hit my late 20s, I kind of started going through a major identity crisis. Hence me leaving my corporate job, starting a business, launching a podcast. All of the things that the last year or so has brought to me and I just kind of love the way that it's all panned out because I it has really set myself up. I'm really excited to have a year full time in the business under my belt. As I'm heading into this decade, I feel like it's given me a lot more clarity and direction on where I'm headed. And also I, I want to make sure to leave so much room open for fun in. In the unknown. And you know, I'm a chronic planner and I am just excited to see all of the unexpected things that come out of this next decade and all of the fun that it can bring. But what I thought would be really fun to do today for the epis is I brain dumped last night into a notes app. 30 things that I am going to be doing in my phase to become a millionaire this decade. So I obviously I've talked with you guys all about this. Like hitting a milestone from a net worth perspective is way more exciting to me than hitting a milestone from a income perspective because it's not necessarily just about the money that you make, it's about the money that you keep and also how you utilize that money to build a life that you are obsessed with. Right? That's the entire base of my, my entire brand of this podcast is understanding how to utilize money strategically. So when I talk about becoming a millionaire and chasing that milestone, it's not necessarily for this like arbitrary thing, right? There is a lot of more freedom that comes with growing our net worth and achieving these milestones. But it really is more about who I get to become along this journey. Right. I think the very first time in my personal journey that I chased a financial milestone, it was hitting six figure income in my job, right? And now I'm more so focused on what about what can that money do for me in my life? How can I become the absolute best version of myself and how can I use this money to build a family, to build the experience, to lean into purpose, to lean into My fulfillment and yeah, just make this place a better place than when I found it. Right? That cliche saying of wanting to leave the world a better place from when we got here. I just think money is a tool to be able to do that because it allows you to open up more possibilities. You have more options, you have more freedom, you have more flexibility, all of the things. So going after the millionaire net worth milestone, there's so much more behind it from an accomplishment perspective, it's not just this arbitrary number, right? I don't know. I guess it kind of is. What is a million dollars? Is that really the overall objective? If we can hit a million dollars in our 30s, that's going to set us up really, really well, right? I think the average person hits millionaire status in their 50s, so. But of course we are overachievers here and I don't know, I just feel like my 30s, where my business is going, my mindset, the person I have really intentionally started to become over the last five years is setting me up, I think for a really incredible decade where we're going to get to hit a lot of milestones. There's so much fun I have in my mind for the business, for life, for everything. And so what I thought would be fun is just let's talk about some things that came up for me. I think this will be a really interesting episode for me to flag and re listen to in another decade as I'm heading into my 40s. Like how much of this stuff mattered? How much of this stuff did I stick to? How much of this stuff totally changed the game for me. So future me, when you're sitting back and listening to this, I hope you enjoy this episode of everything that I am going to be focused on from habits, from mindset, from decisions, from all of this over the next decade. Heck, it might even be fun to re listen to this just in a year or two and really see how things have progressed. Because if I would've made this type of episode and had this type of conversation heading into my about everything that I was gonna do to I don't know, hit six figure income or get outta debt or who even knows what 19 year old me was really prioritizing, right? But if I would've listed out all of those things, it'd be just so interesting to listen back and be like oh my gosh, you're so cute sweetie. Like you thought all those things were gonna be important. None of them were. Or maybe I'll be spot on. I don't know. I Feel like obviously I've been in the personal growth era for like as I mentioned, the last five years now. So let's see, let's see how much of this foundational stuff actually makes a difference and in the next decade and see if I can hit my objective of growing my net worth to a million dollars and also just enjoying the heck out of life. Right? The money is not the main objective, but it does open up doors and let you live life. So obviously it's going to be a priority. Okay, let's get into it. I am just going to run through this list. I so number one, giving less fucks about what people think hand down they say this. I have heard so many people talk about this. The more that we age as you enter into your is and I'm sure this is true as you just continue to forward but really starting to give less fucks about other people's opinions of me, of what I'm trying to build, of trying to fit in. I feel like is and really our whole life is just a lot of conditioning around what the world expects of us and how we should be doing things, how we should be living our lives. I hope that 30 brings for me a lot more just alignment of knowing I'm on the right path of leaning into all those things I mentioned, right? Purpose, potential, stretching myself to become who I know I'm meant to become. And I'm sure I'll continue to discover what that looks like and feels like as I grow and as I age. But I just think we all should give less fucks about other people's opinions. Right? We're all just as a society so nervous about what other people are going to think. We're nervous about being judged. Right. I have a huge fear being seen that I've really been working through over the last year or so because I think we just care as humans and I it's gotten me so far, right? Caring what people think about me and wearing these labels of really put together and polished and always having the right answer. I do enjoy being that person, person for people. But also in order to get to where I want to go, I know that I'm going to have to fail publicly. I know I'm going to continue to have to put myself out there and let myself be seen and heard and not everybody is going to vibe with what I have to say. Not everybody is going to care or think I'm right if it's even about. It's not really about being right. But I know that this is something I'm going to continuously be working on as we head into these next years, but ultimately caring less and trusting my gut, trusting my intuition, and saying yes when I know I should and saying no when I know I shouldn't. And, yeah, if it's not your vibe, that's chill. Like, go find your vibe. I'm here to create my vibe because I want my vibe to attract my tribe, right? And I'm here for that. I'm here to be bold and go first and let myself be seen and judged in a way. So, yeah, I feel like that's just like going to be kind of like an overall theme of all of the rest of my life. Let's hope. But for sure, as we head into the 30s and on that, number two, doing things that scare me. Right. I feel like that goes hand in hand with personal growth. But finding more things to do that frightened me. A big thing for me just in the last 12 months has been leaning into public speaking and owning that I actually want to be a keynote speaker. I want to be somebody that can speak on stage and deliver a really good message that inspires and motivates women to live a bigger life, to be bolder, to prioritize their finances, to get in the driver's seat of their future, to shift their mindset, to build wealth, to become the version of selves that they know they want to become. And I am just going to continue to find ways that scare me. I think that when we find things that feel intimidating or are like, oh, my gosh, am I really going to do that? Like, those are the things that I think are guiding lights. I'm starting to recognize and realize that those things that we fear are probably going to be the biggest catalyst for change in our life. And so I am just committing to continuously putting myself in scenarios that stretch me and scare me because I know that that is where growth comes from. I know that that is where we get to really find ourselves. And with that, it's going to be flops and fails and things that don't land. Right? But that's okay. That's part of the journey. I just think that finding more things that scare you, right? Like I said, public speaking for me, oh, my gosh. I used to shake in my boots. I have this memory which I have a lot of memories that are suppressed, which maybe that should be something I add onto my list as therapy in my 30s and not currently there, but there's this memory that I have of me in middle school. I'm pretty sure I passed out speaking at some point when I was a kid and completely fainted or blacked out or something. So it's not something I've always been really good at. I've actually been very scared of it. And so maybe it's that for you, maybe it's not that for you, but I just think figuring out what that is that can challenge you to step outside your comfort zone and lean in to the scary for the sake of personal growth. So that is something I am super focused on right now. Next up, number three is going to be really focusing on content creation skills. Obviously I'm doing a lot of that right now with, you know, reels on Instagram and carousels and stories and podcasting and emailing there. I just think that the ability to market yourself online is a skill that we're not gonna see go away. I don't know, unless we just end up in some crazy like post intern world where social media is not a place that is important in our society, which that would be crazy, but I guess also possible to get there. But right now I view utilizing these skills of being able to do online marketing and digital marketing as something that whether it stays in my current business model or I branch out into anything else for the rest of my life, these are really good skills. Marketing skills and being able to market yourself, market products online are something that lead obviously to making more money, right? We've got to be able to market and have sales skills to be able to make more money. And if we're focused on growing our net worth, that means I need to continue to get better at what it looks like to show up and market on the Internet and learn how to do all of the funnels and the systems and all of these things that I'm learning and the strategies themselves I know will continue to evolve as social media changes. Right? I'm pretty sure the strategies that worked last month are already phasing out. So the nitty gritty of it is going to continue to evolve and I fully understand that. But I just think the skills of being able to be an effective storyteller on the Internet and articulate the purpose or the point of your message, of your movement, of what I'm trying to create is really important because that is what moves people. Being able to actually storytelling get your point across and be able to get the vision out of your head and onto the Internet where other people can relate. We live in such a fun time right now where we can reach mass audience people all across the world and get your Message across. So no matter what the skills are there, right? No matter what it is that you're really trying to build. For me, content, storytelling, online marketing is going to be something that I am continuing to develop. And so obviously I'm in the midst of learning a lot of these skills right now. And I think that I'm going to continue to have to develop them. It's really fun. I just see the benefit of it. Like I said, no matter if I stay in this industry or if I pivot later or if I wherever the world takes me, wherever I flow, I know that these skills are going to be very valuable in understanding. And on the back end of that, number four is really building a personal brand, right? I again, with the way that the Internet is working right now, there's just such a benefit of building a personal brand. And when I say personal brand, I mean this could be in your corporate office, in your 9 to 5. This could be on the Internet, this could be wherever you show up. For me, building a personal brand is all about letting people know who I am and what I'm about and what I stand for and how I want to make a positive impact on the world. It's also a lot about how you make people feel, right? I, I There's this famous saying, people don't remember what you say, they remember how you make them feel. And I recently had someone on the podcast talking all about personal brand and we dove really deep into this topic. But your personal brand opens up doors for you. Again, corporate entrepreneurship, it does not matter if people know you for something and you are relia and you are somebody that somebody can depend on and you are somebody that gets shit done and you make people feel good about the work that you are doing, then I just, that opens up so many doors. I think we're in the era of personal branding right now. Obviously on the Internet, you know, I've seen so many people take their personal brand and launch online businesses and launch physical products and launch communities and open up stores. Like the possibilities are endless. I just see the way that like influencer marketing and celebrity marketing, marketing, it's, it's just changing the game, right? I think recently we just watched Hailey Bieber sell road for a billion dollars after three years in the business. And that is because of her personal brand, of her ability to be able to move people. And obviously that's like a beauty brand and it's a physical product. But I think that just goes to show how important it is to be known. Like we're seeing A real big shift in marketing tactics of companies prioritizing brands over people. Like, people want the founder story. People want to know the person behind the brand. Like, who are, what do you stand for? And how can I back that? I think once you get the buy in from people of like, hey, I'm a good person. I'm out here on the mission, right? I'm ready to go first. I'm willing to do the scary things. And also I, I just care, right? I care a lot about these components. That personal brand is going to open up so many doors. When you get to be the person that is known for something and you get to start being the person that is referred out to businesses and opportunities, then it's just like an endless stream of goodness. And all of that comes from building the foundation of a personal brand. So I think building a personal brand is a game changer. And it's absolutely something that I'm going to continue to pour into as the years go on. Because again, the possibilities are endless, right? I think about one of my goals of becoming a published author. Like that could happen so easy if my personal brand gets around to the right people and the message and the movement, all of this stuff gets into the right hands, like those doors just get easier. And then you think about, you get into a book and now you are going to be able to just impact more and more people. So building a personal brand is something that is really important. Ironically, next up on the list is publish a book. Publishing a book for me, you guys, has been something that has been on my radar for practically my whole life. I feel like I've been so open about this. Your girl's a major book nerd. Would go to the mall when, you know, malls were a thing, right? How funny that these next generations just aren't gonna understand what hanging out at a mall felt like. Hanging out at the mall was like what you wanted to do. Like, wanted to get your parents to drop you off. You'd hang out, you'd meet up with people, you'd get into trouble. They would hang out in the bookstores and read books. That's what I would do. Now don't get me wrong, we were mischievous at times. Like we were still, you know, a young, young kid, teenage vibes. But I spent a lot of time in the bookstore. I would go and sit and I would read books in the aisles. I would read 30 books and get through the chap and, you know, really assess what book I wanted to buy. Buying a book and picking a book out Was an experience and it took time. And when I was younger, I'm trying to remember how old. It must have been like fifth grade or something. I decided that I was gonna start writing my first book. It was a fantasy book. I think I only made it through the first couple first chapters. It was a fantasy book. I remember that the main characters was a female and her name was Ava. I fell so ahead of the times with that name. I didn't know any. I thought it was like cute, badass, simple, strong, bold, all of the things. And it was a fantasy book about this girl Ava, who I'm pretty sure she like stayed home sick from school one day, ventured into the woods behind her house and found a portal to an alternate universe which if you know me and the books I type, I read super on brand. Now where I'm looking at, you know, building a brand as a, as an author, obviously, right? We're talking money, we're talking mindset, we're talking wealth building, we're talking financial empowerment. Now I feel pretty confident that the, that my book is going to be not a fantasy book. Maybe that'll come later in life, but probably a book that's going to be on those topics that really is in align with my personal brand. I love to read. I used to love to write so much. I think obviously creating content like I'm getting little pieces. I would love the opportunity to be able to sit down and actually just write a book like that. Sounds like a fun project. I know people that I have written books. I know it is a lot of work. It is a very therapeutic experience. You're getting to grow a lot through that journey. And I just know that that's something that I want to experience. I also know that once you get a book published, your opportunity to leave an impact on people is just significantly larger. Right? The amount of books that I have read that have completely changed my perspective on myself, on money, on goals, on habits, on all of these things. I want the opportunity to leave a piece of my mindset and philosophy and all of those things behind via a book. And so I can't wait to get the opportunity to do. I know that once I do that again, that just opens up even more doors, right? That's going to positively impact my speaking career, my coaching career, and the overall just mission of making a positive impact. So that is obviously all going to play into, you know, building a bigger brand, making more money and pouring back into the business and into the net worth. Next on the list, number six, building a business that makes an impact and leaves me feeling fulfilled and happy. I feel like we have talked about this, but I've chased the money before. Right. I was in Tech Sale making six figures, multiple six figures. It was great. Listen, I want, I love the money. Am I here to build a business that also gives me the same type of financial freedom where we're making six figures and living a lavish life? Absolutely. But more than that, I want the money and the impact. I do believe you can have both. And so it's really building a business that feels super aligned and allows me to make a positive impact on people. Right. We've obviously talked about that a lot. And so that is something that will continue to be a priority in a major focus. I mean, really like most of my life as we head into this next decade is just building this business and constantly just making sure that it's making me happy, making sure that I'm making an impact, making sure that it's fulfilling and just in alignment with all of the things that I'm trying to create in the world. So that's going to be a big focus. It's just continuing to find ways to build and expand this business. Obviously one on one, coaching is the bread and butter right now. But there's a lot of ideas cooking people. There's a lot of ways to make the information more accessible, creating just more opportunity to do this type of work. I'm just really excited to see how it grows over the next decade. 10 years. I'm just excited to see how it grows over the next six months, 12 months. But it'll be really exciting to see how big we can make this brand and this movement and how many women can be positively impacted from a finance, from a mindset perspective as we continue to pour into the business. So I'm really excited to see what that holds. I mentioned I'm a planner, chronic planner. And I'm just trying to leave more room for the unexpected, which I think is an important part of this journey, is not trying to control everything. So building the business, leaning into fulfillment and seeing where that takes me. Okay, number seven on the list. I do feel like I'm gonna have to go through these a little bit faster because we got a lot and I wanna make sure we get to all of them. Okay. Number seven is all about working out, strength training, moving my body, non negotiables like health is wealth. Right. Cliche saying. It's so true though, if I want to continue to show up on all those things I just mentioned, speaking facing my Fears, writing a book, building a business, like, your girl's gotta be healthy. And to me, working out, strength training, Pilates, like whatever it is, the modalities I'm sure will change. Right now I'm very much into weight and strength training. In the past, I've been very into yoga, I've been very into Pilates. I definitely like in my health prioritization phase right now, right. Moving my body important, going on walks, getting up. Don't get me wrong, we got our lazy couch days too, but like, more often than not, building muscle. I know, especially in 30s, as a female, it's such a strong foundation for the rest of your life. Muscle growth is linked to longevity. And so the more muscle that you have, the easier it's going to be for you to live a long and healthy life. Life facts. So moving my body, strength training, staying fit as possible is definitely a major priority for me. With that is going to be really paying attention to what I'm putting in my body. So eating healthy, continuing to focus on eating whole foods, getting enough protein in my day, not drinking as much alcohol, that's been so interesting. Like when I entered my 20s, it was just like a fiend, right? We were just drinking all of the time. I actually cracked a bottle of wine open last night for my husband and I and we both are just like, can't. Not drinking a glass of wine with dinner. Like it just sat there. I just poured them all back into the sink this morning, cleaning up the kitchen. So not drinking as much. It's interesting how like it's, it's not even as exciting for me as it used to be, I think because the rebound is real. Like the headaches and the hangovers and just the way that it slows me down the next day. I think subconsciously my mind and body are just kind of like, girlfriend, you got a lot of shit to get done tomorrow. Like maybe we don't want to be drinking as much right now. And also just fueling your body, you know, we are what we eat and making sure that I'm paying attention to what's going in my body and what makes me feel good and what makes me not feel good. You know, am I going to looking at just like eating carb heavy food before recording a podcast? Probably not a smart idea. So just really paying attention to what I'm eating and you know, staying away from a lot of processed food. I'm not perfect. I live a very 8020 life, right? Like if I'm on vacation, if I'm traveling If I'm craving, if it's my period, like, your girl's going to eat what she wants to eat, but the rest of the time, really prioritizing. And I think 80, 20 is a really healthy way to just live life, period. Right. But especially when we're talking about food and these types of things, I'm never going to be someone that is just like, die hard, not going to eat, you know, all of the things 24, seven. Like, it's just all about balance. Number nine, reading. Obviously, I just told you guys how much of a freaking book nerd I am, but I love to learn. I love to learn. I think that there is how many famous sayings, how many cliche quotes can I make in one episode? But when you stop learning is when you start dying. Sounds dramatic, but I think it's so true. We are creatures that want to evolve. We are constantly learning and growing and up leveling. And I hope I never hit a point in my life where I don't crave knowledge the way that I do right now, because it is fun and exciting to just like, there's so much to learn about life, about people's philosophies, about what works for them, what doesn't. Like, I'm just obsessed with learning. And I think that that is such a foundation for building a happy and a healthy life. Because the second that you just feel like, you know, it all is not a good place to be. Not a place I ever want to be anyway. So constantly reading, always learning, always finding new skills to develop, always new things to learn about. I think that that will forever just be a foundation for who I am and that learning and growth plays a huge factor into making more, Building a bigger business, into becoming a better version of yourself. Because the more that you learn about yourself and about the world and about the people around you, the more that you get to evolve you, you, the more that you get to evolve everything. So learning is core, core to who I am. And finding time to read is definitely something that I'm always going to prioritize. Ironically, I am coming off of a bit of a interesting dry spell with reading. I've been very into audiobooks lately, which traditionally are not usually things that I have enjoyed. I think maybe the world of audio is getting better, like the reading. And it's. It's just. It used to be all very monotone old men reading all the books. And I think it's really fun to do the audiobooks where you're getting a chance to listen to the author speak and hear it in their voice and their excitement behind it all. So that's super exciting. So always reading, whether a physical book, a Kindle, an audiobook, choose your delivery model, but definitely a priority. Okay, number 10, sleeping eight hours on the reg is what I wrote down. Solid sleep leads to better decision making. I read a book forever ago called why We Sleep by Matthew Walker. It changed so much for me because this guy's talking about why we sleep. He said he started doing his research to figure out what the benefits were, and a decade later, he's trying to figure out what part of our body does not benefit, like, a lot from sleep. They're starting to link lack of sleep to things like dementia and Alzheimer's and weight gain. And there's just so much there right now. I'm like a 8 to 10 hour sleeper. I love my sleep. I love to get curled in bed. I get my fan on, my AC is cranked down to 65. I've got, got some white noise playing. I've got a weighted sleep mask. Like, we are good. We currently are sleeping on grounding sheets. Like, I love my sleep. I love it. I think that it leads to just clarity. I am happier. I am all of the things. So finding ways to continue to prioritize my sleep, I think is going to be a major habit. Okay, number 11. I wrote down it. Girl, glow up. Like, I am just again, always growing, always evolving. Right now for me, what that means is still trying to, like, figure out my style, my closet, my hair, my makeup. Like, how do I want to physically present myself to the world? I think look good, feel good, play good. There's another one. Someone should keep a tally. If anybody can keep a tally of how many cliche sayings I say in this entire episode and send me a number tracker of how many times, I will give you a prize. Because it's kind of getting out of hand now and I have a lot more things to talk about and I'm sure more are going to come up. But look good, feel good, play good. I want to represent myself to the world in a way that I guess is in line with the personal brand, but also just lets me be me and I can continue to develop that. I think that finding ways to continue to express yourself from a physical perspective is fun. It's important. I don't view it as vain. I don't view it as this materialistic person that just cares. Like, yeah, I care about what I look like. Shouldn't everybody, I don't know, like, to me, it's just how you present yourself to the world. If you're putting absolutely no effort into that all the time. I am like, are you putting effort into everything else? I don't know. I put effort into me because I put effort into everything in this world and I'm excited. I shared with people before. I think I've mentioned on the podcast that I'm saving. One of my big savings goals right now is for a full closet revamp. Like, I want to hire someone to come in, get out all of the shit that I don't wear anymore and help me redevelop my style. I think that that'll continue to be something that I prioritize. Obviously I'm going to go through other life changes becoming a mom. I just hope I never lose that. Hey, this is, this is who I am. Here's how I want to present myself to the world and continuing to evolve and pour into those things because again, personal branding and also feeling good about myself, like even working from home the last year, the days that I don't get ready, I am not showing up fully. Right. I'm not putting myself out there. I'm not working as hard. So I think just prioritizing that is going to be huge. Number 12, putting myself in the room with people who are further ahead of of me. I love being a small fish in a big pond. Love it. I love stepping into a room and being like, holy shit, you guys are doing some incredible things. How do I get there? How do I do that? Right. I think that if you're constantly the person who knows everything, who is the best from your an accomplishment perspective, who is always like the top of the room, you're in a too small of a room. If you enjoy that, I would check in on why you enjoy that. Right. Cause I would imagine that there's probably a lot of ego. There is a time and a place. I love pouring into those rooms. The people that I have, you know, maybe developed a skill that they haven't or maybe have done something that they haven't. I can show them the way or I can make that easier for them. Of course, that's like the whole premise of me building a coaching business. I want to help with that. And on the opposite side of that, I am also in rooms with people that have built million multimillion dollar businesses who have executed on strategies that I haven't even thought of of yet, who have run into problems that haven't even been on my radar yet. That pull of like, oh my gosh, there's actually so much more to learn, so much more to do, so many more things to accomplish. And also it's possible putting yourself in the rooms with the people that are further ahead than you in life and business in a skill in whatever area is so important because our brains want to know that things are possible. And if you are constantly like, I don't know, I don't know if I can do this, then it's gonna really hard for your brain to start to map the how. And so when you're putting yourselves in rooms with people that are like, oh yeah, you can make six figures in a month, no problem. Here's how we're gonna do it, here's what the strategy is. Or you see people that are making millions, multi million dollars, people that are writing books, if you haven't done that, people that are building the business, if you have, like, it doesn't matter what the thing is, you've gotta be putting yourself in the rooms with the people who are further ahead than you. And wherever you're trying to go, that is a huge priority. I have seen exponential growth over the last couple of years from making that a major priority. And I will continue to do that. I. To put myself in rooms with people where I feel like I don't know what the fuck I'm doing and I am lost and overwhelmed and what, what do I do? Help SOS and so that's going to be a big one. Also similar to that number 13 on the list is just continuing to be really intentional about who I spend my time with and creating and cultivating a community that is supportive of not only who I am, who I'm trying to become, holds me accountable, pushes me to think bigger. Like all of those things we know, we know there's endless studies, right? We are the sum of the five people that we surround ourselves with. There's another one for anyone that's continuing to count my cliche sayings, but it's true. We are who we surround ourselves with. And so if you're looking around and you're like, man, all of the people that I hang out with on a regular basis are not living the life that I want to live. You've got to change who you're surrounding. Surrounded by facts. Like, most important decision that you can make is changing who you hang out with. And so I want to just be so intentional these next years of, you know, finding the communities that light me up and that, that feel expansive, but also creating that myself. Want to really lean into community building and create A safe place for people to feel seen and to feel heard and to know that the vision on their heart, you know, to break generational cycles to the first person in their family that hits millionaire status, to be the person who does things different. I want to create that community so that people have a place and a space to come to where they can get pushed, they can get challenged, they can feel like they're surrounded by people that are helping them become the best versions of themselves, who are making them feel like maybe they are the small fish in the big pond. I think creating community is something that I'm just seeing more and more guidance towards, more and more desire to want to be a part of, cultivating that. I think I've spent the last however many years being in other people's world, and it's been really great and I've been able to grow from it, and I'll continue to be in other people's world. I think this next chapter is going to involve a lot of me being the front of that, of creating the space for other people and doing it in a way that, you know, having been in so many other areas, I've seen ways I would love to do it, things I would definitely not do. And so this next chapter, this next decade is going to be a lot about how do I create that for other people in a way that I think would be incredibly beneficial in supporting them and helping their goals. I'm excited about that. I've got some really fun ideas. I've got, you know, a loose vision, obviously, again, who knows, once you actually start getting into things, But I think I have enough of a vision that it's going to be something that I'm excited to bring into the world and learn and grow from and, yeah, creating community. Anyway, to some love. Number 13. Number 14, prioritizing my marriage. I know that a strong foundation from a marriage perspective is a game changer. I'm so blessed. I have the best husband ever. He's so supportive of me and my goals. He's always trying to find ways to take things off of my plate to make things easier because he knows how motivated I am to build this business and to continue to make a bigger impact and to grow. And he's never the person that's ever going to keep me small. He definitely keeps me grounded. He's like, ma', am, you've had a lot of ideas. He does not call me ma', am, by the way, but a lot of ideas that you've rattled off, and they all sound incredible. But like, do we need to do them all right now? And I'm like, all right, that's prob. They probably all don't need to come to light right now. You know, it's a big. It's a big priority for me being able to have a solid foundation, have an incredible marriage where we can be honest and we can grow and we can, you know, build the finances and lay the foundation for a really good family. It came from divorced household. He. He did not. His parents are still together and I just admire them so much. I know I want to do whatever I can to make sure that my marriage is something that continues to remain a focal point of carving out time for each other, pushing each other to continue to become the best versions of ourself. I think having a life partner that you can lock arms with that does have similar goals and aspirations is such a life hack. Like, I'm not in this alone. You know, he helps a lot with grocery shopping and cooking and cleaning. And that takes a lot of pressure off of me to not have to do everything. And so I just think we're always finding a good balance of how to support each other. I know. Know that a stronger marriage also can lead to better financial outcomes. There's actually a lot of studies on this that, you know, long term marriages lead to higher net worth because you guys are typically on a similar path with a shared vision, with a shared goal, combining your finances, working towards growing those things together. And obviously we know that, you know, divorce is a major component to being majorly set back from a finance perspective. So not to say that I'm pouring into my marriage for like a net worth goal here, but there is a lot of hand in handness that goes into building that being able to have two people working towards the same goal from a financial perspective and also just from a manifestation perspective, like, we're both in this together. Let's fucking go. So that's really huge. And with that starting a family now, this might be like counterintuitive of like, okay, I'm trying to do this to become a millionaire. Obviously having kids is really expensive. It's like hundreds of thousands of dollars from 0 to 18 to how to have kids and bring them into this world, which on the forefront, you know, that might come away from. From the overall finance goals of growing my net worth. Sure. Right. If I wasn't putting all that money towards having kids, it could be going just towards investments. Of course, I would be able to maybe hit that quote unquote faster from a Logical perspective. But I'm really choosing to view this from a mindset perspective of I think I'm gonna work harder when I see these little kids faces. I'm going to want to give more to them even more than I already do. So much of my motivation right now is building. Building this foundation and building this business so that I can be the best mom that I can be and that I can give to them what I want to give to them. And that's time and that is experiences and opportunities and all of the things. And I just, I think that if I'm this motivated right now to build this business for the idea of them, I just know that once they're here I'm gonna have even more motivation to do the hard things, to do the scary things, to show them what is possible when you go after, after your dreams. So I'm viewing that as an opportunity to pour into my overall growth like growth as a human. I just know that that's inevitable. Wow. I'm getting like teary eyed thinking about it. I just know that they're already, they're already one of my biggest motivators. And I don't see how that changes if go on and bring them into this world. Like how does it not become a bigger motivator? So that's gonna be a really huge thing for me. Okay, next up 16. I'm like collect myself over here. Be delusional as fuck about my goals. We are gonna continue to be delusional about Go. That is how shit gets done. You just have to. I'm going to continue to just live in Deluland number 17. My net worth regularly. I talk about this all the time. You can't achieve an undefined goal. Shit, there's another one I Chasing income, chasing net worth. Let's focus on the thing that actually gives us time and freedom back in our life and that is net worth. So I'm going to for sure continuously be tracking that number 18. I'm starting to speed up here because your girl spent a lot of time on the first 15, 18. Always be investing. I know that I am going to continue to learn about different investment Real estate, private money lending, utilizing self directed accounts, leveraging IRAs. All like there's just such an endless amount of opportunity to be investing. Obviously like real estate is something I'm very interested in. My husband is in commercial real estate. We have visions for being able to invest in that. Real estate's always going to be an incredible vehicle to be able to grow your net worth. So like real estate, obviously, we're growing the business. We're obviously invested in the stock market market. But there's so many fun little things. So I think just always being, investing in something every year and finding new things that align with the goals, I think is going to be a major priority. And with that, number 19 is taking calculated risks. You got to take risks. Without risk, there is no reward, right? And so finding ways to constantly be taking calculated risks. I am not here to live a moderately conservative, like, scared girl life. I am going to be smart, right? That's why the word calculated is in there. I'm not just out here pouring all of my money into the next meme coin. Like, that's silly. But like, I am investing in bitcoin. That to me is a calculated risk, right? Investing in different cryptocurrencies, investing in myself, taping the leap of faith in the business. Like, calculated risks are what are required to get you from where you are and where you want to go. So I will always lean in to making sure that I'm taking risks and I'm taking it from, from a good point of view. Number 20, investing in coaches and mentors. That can speed up my journey. I've seen so much benefit from this. I just obviously getting coached by people led me to coaching people. Because I just see the benefit of having somebody that is locking arms with you, knows your vision, knows your goals, can hold you accountable, can call you out on your bullshit, and can help you get to your goals faster. We live in information era. You can figure out whatever the fuck you want to find out on the Internet. Go Google, go to promote perplexity, have a conversation with Chat. Nothing is going to replace having an actual person who cares about you, cares about your goals, hold you accountable, and like I said, calls you out on your bullshit. Chat agrees with you. Chat thinks you're right. 100 of the time. Your coach is going to be like me. But you just said you were going to do X, Y and Z and you didn't. And now you're saying that you want to do this. Like, what are we talking about here? Let's build an action plan and let's actually stay accountable and ultimately also help you see things that you don't see. Because that's the other benefit of hiring a coach is they've probably done a lot of the stuff that you're trying to do and they know what's worked and they can help you be diverted from taking the similar routes and failures that they have taken. So always going to be leaning on to coaches 21. Having a gratitude practice. This has changed my life, and it is something that I will continue to do. You can't get where you're going if you're not grateful for what you already have. I truly believe that. So finding ways to stay grateful for the life that I have while also desiring and also working towards more is a major focal point. One of my favorite ways to implement a gratitude practice is laying in bed at the end of the night. I will run back through my day, and I will think of everything positive that happened that day. You get to start really rewiring your mind, especially before you fall asleep, where we're actively in our subconscious. So thinking about all of the good things and thanking people for coming into my life and thanking people for the conversation that we had as I'm falling asleep. Chef's kiss, you guys. If you're looking for a quick hack, that's it. Lay down, get all comfy before you're eight to ten hours of sleep. If you're like me, just run through all the things that made your day great. And if there were shitty things that happened, this is your opportunity to figure out what was the lesson that you learned from it, and how can you find gratitude in the things that maybe don't feel like you should be grateful for them on the forefront? You can find gratitude in anything. I promise. If you need help finding gratitude for a scenario or a situation that you're in, DM me, because I feel like. Like I am, like, the queen of finding the silver lining in scenarios, almost to be, like. Almost, like, annoying. 22. Have fun. Have fucking fun. Life is short. I'm not here to just make money to make money. I'm here to live a fully expressed life. I am here to have so much fun, to meet my people, to have the experiences. Fun is core. Fun is core. Fun is key. I just think that there's such a priority on having fun, and, like, that's the whole point of life. We are here to learn and grow and enjoy having fun. I hope future me is listening to this and is like, oh, you had the most fun. Your 30s were a fucking hoot. That's what I hope is happening in my 30s. Number 23, system regulation. Especially if we're taking all these calculated risks and we're facing our fears. I'm not trying to live a life in fight or flight. I've lived a lot of my life in fight or flight already, and I'm telling you, on the other side of it, A calm nervous system is. Is what you're. Your objective should be. And that is what I'm going to continue to pour into. Obviously, it's not like, okay, cool, let's just check a box. I have a calm nervous system now. No. As we continue to grow, as we continue to evolve, as we reach new heights, as we reach new levels, as we go for new things, like, the nervous system's gonna freak out our brain fears, anything we've never done before. And so when that starts to really take over and our fight or flight kicks in and our nervous system gets out of whack, really leaning into practices, journaling, meditation, breathing, grounding, turning off the laptop, like, whatever you need to do. Watching Harry Potter. I've talked about this before, but I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd. And if I'm ever, like, sick tired, I'm just popping on a solid hp, cozying up on my couch. And we are regulating our nervous system. So that is my alternate hack for regulation. So if you have a favorite movie, plug in. But that's definitely something I'm prioritizing. 24 saying yes before I feel ready for my chronic planner. Well, what do you mean? I have to have all my eyes, dots, T's, crossed, I's, dots, whatever. And before I move forward and I gotta know how this is gonna perfectly play out and what's my exit strategy? A strategy. Anytime I'm making a decision, my mind is just constantly leaning into that. What I'm choosing to believe right now in this chapter of life and moving forward is that if an opportunity is presented to me, it's because I'm already ready for it. And so I'm just switching the flipping the script there of like, oh, I need to all this preparation in order to become the person that's, like, ready for it. If somebody's gonna reach out to me, if an opportunity is presented to me, I'm going to say yes because that means I am already ready for it. Right? You wouldn't be given the opportunity if you weren't already ready for it. So I might not feel ready, but that doesn't mean I'm. It's gonna hold me back from saying yes. If I know from a gut perspective, an intuition perspective, that this aligns with where I'm trying to go. This doesn't mean I'm just gonna be blanket saying yes to everything. No, because boundaries are also very important. So back to into the intuition and understanding what is right for me. And if I know it's right. But I just Feel like the butterflies. And I'm like, who am I to get on that stage? Who am I to offer that thing? Who am I to say yes to this? That, to me, is like a. Okay, you've gotta say yes, and you've gotta say yes before you're ready. Because I also know that courage comes first and confidence comes second. So for a lot of these things that I'm thinking about, like, I'm not gonna feel ready, I'm not gonna feel confident that I can do that task until I've already done it. And so I need to have more courage. I need to say y. I feel ready, and I need to make sure I'm saying yes intentionally and also saying no intentionally. That's another big part of this too, is, you know, saying yes, but also knowing when to say no and putting those boundaries up and not feeling like you have to have all the answers for either direction if you want to say yes or no. But it's not saying no because you're scared. It's saying no because you confidently know that this is not in alignment with you, your goals, your values, or it's just not the right time. That's not what I'm talking about. What I'm talking about is that feeling in your stomach where you're like, no, I couldn't. I'm not. I need this. And then that, that, fuck that. We're saying yes before already in our 30s. Number 25, identifying and ditching my limiting beliefs. I feel like this goes into everything that I am about. Constantly identifying new limiting beliefs. Just want to continue to challenge myself to do that as I move forward is calling myself out of my bullshit, finding the limiting beliefs that are holding me back and moving through them with intention. Number 26, viewing failure as an opportunity to learn and keep growing. To me, the biggest failure is not trying. To me, the biggest failure is getting to the end of my life and looking back and being like, you could have done more. You could have been become more. You could have lived a bigger life. You could have made a bigger impact. You could have seen more, you could have experienced more. You could have accomplished more of the things that your soul felt accomplished to calling. The biggest failure for me is not doing those things because I a don't feel ready. Fear is getting in the way. Maybe my nervous system's out of whack, right? All these things kind of play in. But I'm just. I refuse to view failure as anything other than me not giving it a shot. If I wanted to give it a shot and giving it being an opportunity to learn and grow is this number 27 visualization. I love this visualization. I visualize everything. Every single morning. I start my day with what have I got going on? And I ask myself, what's the best possible outcome? And I think about all the activities that I have to do that day and I think about what the best possible outcome is. Visualization is a hack to train your brain to feel more confident and comfortable with the activities that you're completing so that you already feel. Feel like it's a thing, like it's already done. So that when you go into it, you're more confident and you have the outcomes more often than you are hoping for. Obviously you can't control everything, but visualization is actively rewiring your brain. Again, our brain fears anything we haven't experienced before. So the more that you can fake it in your brain so that you're, oh, yeah, we've done this plenty of times. We're good. No reason to be nervous. You got this, sis. Keep running. Everyone uses visualization. All the cool kids are doing it. You've got to hop on. But seriously, let's talk about this all, all the time. Biles talked about that. Like, there's all these athletes talk about all the time. Just utilizing your brain to visualize what you're accomplishing and what your goals are so that it feels more real and it feels more attainable. And therefore you're tricking your brain into the we got this sis mentality, which I think is so important. Traveling. We are going to do some more traveling. Traveling has been something that was a major priority for me in my whole life. My whole life. Travel has been a priority for me. I think seeing the world is really important to give you gratitude and give you perspective of not only how other people live life, but also to give you a lot of gratitude for the way that you live your life. There's nothing better than coming home from a vacation and just sleeping in your bed for the first time. Because it just. I love that. I love coming home, but I love traveling because I love to experience other cultures, try other food, see things from all around the world. Like, the world is so big. There's so much to see. There is so much to do. I want to go to Australia, New Zealand. I want to see Southeast Asia. I really want to go to all of Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam. I want to go to Japan. I want to go back to Italy. I really want to take my husband and do like a three or four week Stint where we start at the top of Italy and work our way down. I want to, like, it's endless. I want to go to Canada. I've never been to Canada. I've also never been to a lot of places in South America. I'd love to go to Colombia. I'd love, like, the world is so big, there's so much to see. I think traveling and having a book on the calendar gives me motivation. I was just talking to my husband actually about how my gym motivation seems to be significantly higher when we have a beach vacation booked on the calendar. Therefore, I feel like it makes sense to just always have a vacation book so that we can make sure we're staying in our best shape. So that's my current petition. We'll see if it gets approved. But traveling, seeing the world, getting perspectives, taking 10 out of 10 will be doing a lot of that in my 30s. And again, spending money on traveling might seem counterintuitive to making money, but it's not. Because I think that the more that you learn the growth, the more that you get experience, the more that you get acclimated to other people's things. It just opens up your mind to what is possible and what your life can look like. Number 29, not spending money on trends or from a place of FOMO or YOLO mentality. FOMO and YOLO mentality was my 20s, especially my early 20s. Right. Not necessarily my back half, but spending from a place of needing to belong, to fit in, to, I don't know, say yes to all the things, just to be there, to be included, to be in the now, you name it. I am really focused on making sure I have a clear alignment with my goals, my values, the life I'm trying to create. And that is where I'm going to spend my money. Those are the only things that get my time and attention. Right. I'm not, I'm not giving into this like everybody's doing it or this is what, well, you should be doing this. No, no, no, no, no. Just me, my life, my family's life, my family's vision, our values, all those things. And then number 30, adding systems and team members into my business for scaling and efficiency. I can't wait. 30 something year old me. Obviously there's so much that can go into this. But you know, I think people, you know, for example, I left corporate America and now I am a business owner, but I am still very much so trading my time for money. And that's fine. That's the chapter in the season that I'm in and I'm loving it. I love trading my time for money. I love coaching my women, right? But eventually the goal is to add in significantly more systems and significantly more team members to take things off my plate where I don't necessarily have to be doing everything all of the time. That is really the vision is to be able to move up really into CEO where I am focused on the things that are important to me and to my business. When I say like trading my time for money, the coaching is going to be something that will continue to stay. But like I'm also also doing all of my social media, all of my keynote presentation creation, all of my podcasting. I actually just outsourced the editing of my podcast. So my podcast editor listening to this, you are an mvp. Appreciate you because that's been the first step I've really taken in like stepping into this like systems era and buying back my time a little bit more so that I can open up and create other things. And obviously eventually it's going to be my family, Eventually I'm going to have kids that I want to prioritize spending my time on. And so I'm going to have to get even better at adding in more systems and more team members because I also have like, as I mentioned, there's so many other things I want to bring into the world that play into this like ecosystem of the business. And I can't nor do I want to do all of that alone, which is crazy because 20 year old me was like, must control everything, will do everything, like have to have my name on all of the pieces. I'm really starting to see the value and the benefit of hiring people that are better at the things that I don't want to do, do or not even necessarily don't want to do, but just like don't need to be doing. I would so much rather find people that find joy in helping me bring this vision to life and pouring into them and bringing them on so that more people get to be a part of this movement, more people get to be a part of this journey. And yeah, all of those things. I feel like we rattled through that. You guys, I just talked for a whole hour to you about 30 things that I am planning to focus on in my 30s. And I'm sure there are other things, but this also feels like a lot. I am so curious if any of these things resonate if you are doing these things, if you are also prioritizing these things, if you are also in an era or a season of change, up level growth, stepping into a new chapter. All of these things I'd love to hear from you. Are you also focusing on any of these things? Did I miss something major where you're like, oh, my God, I can't believe Madison didn't say that. I want to know. Drop me a dm. Celebrate my birthday week with me. Classic Leo invitation to just celebrate everything with me. But I love you guys. It's been so fun to sit down. And we are back on the solo swing. This was so fun. I love you so much and I will see you on the show next episode. Bye, babe.
