So we are diving deep into all things personal development and bringing you the mindset, set shifts, money, tips and inspiration. You need to go out there, be bold and build the life you can't stop daydreaming about. It's time to get busy babe. Busy getting better. What is up? Welcome back to the podcast. I want to know if you also feel like the month of September literally flew by in the blink of an eye? Because I feel like I was just sitting down to plan out my month and set my intention and and here I am sitting down to record an entire recap episode of my month of September and take you behind the scenes of some of the key things that happened. And I feel like I don't know how we got here. These weeks really just flew by. I'm thinking it has something to do with the fact that August was a heavy travel month for me. I was on vacation, I was really treating it like summer and September has very much been back to work, back to to the grind, just like full on in business mode. And I feel like I have been just so busy this month with so many different things, so wondering if that's what it is. But anyway, I cannot believe we are here heading into the last quarter of 2024. But before we head into the quarter, let me go ahead and take you behind the scenes of September. I want to share with you all about my 75 aligned challenge, how it's going to have I been able to stick to it. What has been working, what has not been working? Some wins that the ladies in the community have had along the way because they've been super inspiring and awesome. I also went to a handful of pretty cool events this month, which I feel like going to events is something for me that is fun. I obviously love to network. I love to learn new concepts, get connected with new people, be a new room. So I went to three different events this month so I'll tell you a little bit about each of those and some of the key takeaways I had and lessons learned and just kind of the general consensus of some of the events that I attended. And then I also had some pretty Big major milestones to celebrate wrapping up this month that I'm really excited about. So why don't we just start there? Because, honestly, I'm just really excited about the milestones that we've achieved. The first one being that Busy Getting better officially surpassed 1000 downloads on. On the podcast, which is such an exciting milestone to be at because I just kicked off Busy Getting Better at the end of July. So through all of August and all of September, we have been able to hit a thousand downloads. And a download essentially just means an episode has been listened to. So that means that there has been over a thousand listens. I think we're officially at 1055 as of this morning. Downloads that have been happening all across the podcast, which is super exciting. I feel like I didn't really have a goal for growth necessarily. I just wanted to get in here and get really comfortable and share things that were on my heart and share things that I think, you know, have made a big impact in my life and that could make a big impact in your life as well. And so I didn't really set out any necessary, like, specific growth goals, more so just to stay consistent and listen to feedback that you have been providing to me and implement it and talk about the things that you're telling me that you want to hear. So that's really been the main thing I've been focused on. And so I didn't really know what good growth goals would be. And if, you know, frankly, like, is a thousand downloads in two months, like, even that exciting. Regardless, it is an exciting milestone to hit for me in my own just growth and consistency. But your girl got curious, and so obviously I took it to the Google and I wanted to learn just some key stats around podcasts to have a better understanding around, maybe what to be focusing on, what to be working towards, and just something to start measuring myself against as we are now up and running and, you know, kind of in a good rhythm and a good groove and just having fun with the thing. So the first stat that I learned about podcasting kind of blew me away. It kind of made me feel like there's really no reason not to grow a successful podcast if you really just stay consistent, which obviously consistency is one of the common things in anything that you're gonna do. But I don't know, I feel like podcasting, to me, is something that I was kind of nervous to get into just because it's like, is it so saturated? I feel like so many people have podcasts. Is it something that I could Even get up and running. But yeah, what I learned was that over 90% of podcasts don't make it past episode three. And then of the remaining 10%, 90% don't make it to episode 20. So 99% of podcasts don't make it Past 20 episodes. That was, that was kind of crazy for me to learn. That means we are well on our way to being in the 1% of podcasting producers. I don't know, that seems pretty wild to me. So thinking about that, this is as I'm sitting down and recording this episode 14 of the podcast, so we are pretty close to hitting episode 20. So while I'm so excited that we surpassed the download mark of passing a thousand downloads, my eyes are officially set on the next prize. And the next prize is passing episode 20 meaning that we will have made it into 1% of yeah. Episodes or podcasts. I don't know. That's pretty crazy. So on that front it makes me think, okay, just continue to stay consistent and show up and talk about the things that are going to help you grow and listen to your feedback and get people in here. Something I'm really excited to kick off next month is actually going to be interviews on the podcast. So. So obviously every episode has been just a little solo dolo episode of me. And I definitely am going to continue to bring solo episodes. But one of the big reasons that I wanted to start this podcast was be able, was to be able to have really fun, authentic, genuine conversations with other like minded individuals, to talk about their area of expertise, to hear about their own journey of building their life, of continuously getting better, of pouring into themselves and their goals and their dreams and their life that they can't stop daydreaming about as well as hearing what they're all about and sharing that information with you. There are. I just love having conversations with people. There's so many fun things to talk about and I wanted to create a platform and a space where we could bring that information out into the world and just share how different people live and what works for them. And again, what their area of expertise are to bring you more information and more opportunities to better your life and to help you along your own journey of achieving your individual goals. So I'm really excited to start kicking off the interview portion of Busy Getting Better and bringing people on. If you're listening and you're like, yes, sign me up. I would love to be a guest on Busy Getting Better. DM me and let me know because I'm starting to get all that set up. So I'm really excited to bring that to you again. I think it's going to be really fun. I just absolutely love having conversations with different people about their life and what they can provide to you and the value that they can provide. And so I'm excited to just expand past my own individual knowledge and bring you just a wider scope and a wider opportunities to learn and grow. So that would be really exciting. Okay. I also wanted to share another stat that I learned through this little mini research session I had. And it was all about how many downloads each episode gets, because that's one of the main ways that they track how podcasts are doing. So I'm gonna run through a few of these. So essentially, if your podcast gets more than 30 downloads within the first week, meaning that you've got 30 people listening to your podcast in a week, you are in the top 50% of podcast. If your episodes get more than 115 downloads, you are in the top 25%, more than 470 downloads, you're in the top 10%, more than 1100 downloads, you're in the top 5% and more than 47,000 downloads, and you are in the top 1% of podcasts. So even though longevity and consistency is so important, really one of the key metrics is like, hey, how many people are actually listening to your podcast every single week, right? Who continues to come back how? How many people are actually intrigued with what you've got to say and, you know, what kind of content you're bringing and what kind of messaging you're bringing out every single week. That is going to be the next determining factor into how well your podcast is and what they are rated on. So proud to announce through this research that we are in the top 50% of podcasts. We easily surpass 30 downloads every single week. On average, it's going to be anywhere around 50 to 70 depending on the week. So we're also pretty close to the top 25% of podcasts. So that was really exciting to hear as well. So thank you to everybody that continues to come back every single week. Thanks to those that have followed. If you are not following the podcast, I would love the opportunity to ask you to do that now, especially if you are an avid listener and you want to stay on top of the episodes, hitting follow on either Spotify or podcast or wherever you listen to it essentially is going to notify you every time I drop a new episode. So as new episodes are getting uploaded it, eventually it is going to be right there in your, like, homepage of your podcast, essentially. So you can see, hey, there's a new episode here. And anytime you're listening to a podcast, within the first week of it being dropped, that's when it counts towards these stats. So just a fun fact there for anybody that is interested in how podcasts are tracked and you know, some of the key metrics that they're looking, looking at. If you have a podcast and didn't know any of this, I certainly, again, like I said, I never really looked into any sort of the growth stats or things to track against as I was getting started, but found this super interesting to know. So hopefully that benefits you. If you're someone that's in the podcasting world or just wanted to know more about what we look at on our end. It's really how many people are listening every single week who's hitting follow and actually subscribing to those new episodes that are coming out. Obviously, it also tracks all the listens, right. So after the first week. But this is essentially how they judge. I don't know if, like, popular is the right word, but just kind of like how invested the people are into your podcast that are listening. So if you are in that consistent 50ish person group that's always listening to this first off, thank you. I love you. Please keep coming back. And yeah, thank you so much for your support as we continue to grow this thing. Okay. That is all I've got for the key milestones. I just had to start there because I'm really excited and I'm really proud of the growth and I'm just really, it makes my heart very happy to know that the message is landing well and that there are so many of you out there that are enjoying the show and I'm excited to continue to grow and bring new things to you. Okay, next up, I want to give you guys an Update on the 75Align challenge. For those of you that don't know, 75Aligned is essentially a version of my own that was inspired by the 75 hard challenge. I didn't like how structured and masculine and intense 75 aligned was, but I like the idea of creating consistent habits. And so I created my own challenge, 75 aligned, with over 50 women signed up at the start of the challenge. Totally free to join. Essentially, I just have a group chat going on to instill confidence and support as we go through the 75 days of creating consistent habits across all core areas of your life. So there's a physical, mental, spiritual, and financial component, as well as just like a general aligned action that you get to do. Now, the whole premise of this was to create. It's something that helps you get in alignment with your best self and helps you pour into all areas of your life to create balance across all things. Right? Because if you are just pouring into one area a lot and forgetting about the other things that really round out, you know, the best version of yourself, you might feel a little bit off kiltered and a little off centered. So the whole point of the challenge was to create something that helped you feel in alignment with your best self. What I will say that I have been absolutely loving about everyone that signed up and said yes to themselves and said yes to creating these healthy habits before the end of the year and just getting in alignment with their best self is how much creativity and customization everybody has made to the challenge. Some people are sticking to it just, you know, as is. And other people have messaged me and reached out and shared with the group of how they're really making it their own. And I absolutely love that because the whole point is to feel in alignment with your best self. And if there's specific things in there that make you feel more in alignment and make you want to, you know, help you create the habits that you think are going to help you show up as your best self every day, that is absolutely the point of it. The other key point of this challenge is to prioritize progress over perfection. I think, you know, we get into these challenges, especially something like this that's 75 days long, and it is really hard to stay consistent 100% of the time with anything in life. Life gets in the way. You might get sick, you might have a trip, you might have something that comes up at work. If you have kids, your kids might get sick. And so the other portion of this was really to focus on progress over perfection. And I am just loving how everybody is really embodying that. Not taking this as like an all or nothing challenge where if you do fall off the horse, if you do fall off your habits, you're just like scrapping it and throwing it to the side. Everyone's been so transparent and so supportive of, like, okay, well, hey, this wasn't working for me, so I challenged myself to pivot it here or, you know, I had to take a couple days off because of X, Y or Z, but I'm back in it now. Or, you know, I'm able to stay consistent on all of these. But this day I wasn't able to do this, but now I'm able to integrate it back in based on, you know, whatever's going on in my life. And I think, you know, that's the purpose. The purpose is not to create something that makes you feel like crap. I can't keep up. It's just to be intentional about your time and pouring into again those core habits that are going to make you show up as your best self. So on the heels of all that, I have definitely struggled to stay consistent 100% of the time on all of these activities. So I'm super transparent with that. I got sick this month and I had a terrible migraine for three days, which made doing anything very challenging. On top of that, I was traveling this month, and I also was at different events this month. And so it was absolutely harder for me to stay consistent on it than I anticipated it to be, which is, again, something I think a lot of people find when they do these challenges. But what I will say is that I have stayed as consistent as possible and really, again, viewing this as not an all or nothing mentality, but jumping back on the bandwagon as soon as I could. So if I wasn't able to do the physical component of the challenge because I was just down bad with a terrible migraine, like, literally, you guys, I was just like laying there with a pillow over my head for the majority of the day with just trying to block out the light and the sound. If you've had migraines before, you know what I mean? If you have not, I'm so happy for you because they are absolutely terrible. But anyway, I fell off for a couple of days and I started to feel bad about myself. I'm like, oh, my God, I started this challenge and now I'm already falling off within the first month. That sucks. And then I reminded myself, that's not the point, right? The point is just to stay consistent. Life is going to get in the way. And reminding myself, progress over perfection. You can't show up 100% of the time every single day, but I did my best. I got through majority of the activities on every day. There have just been a handful of days where I haven't been able to do all of the activities, but there are things that I've stayed super strong on. So one of my aligned actions was to show up consistently online posting content. And so I definitely have been posting significantly more consistently. I've been on my feed showing up, I've been on my story showing up, just trying to be more involved and more Consistent with that. So that's been awesome. No, alcohol is one of the things that has also been part of the challenge. And I'm officially over a month now of not drinking alcohol, which I have just got to say, I feel so great. I've had a couple of instances so far this month where I would normally drink alcohol. And I will say my alcohol consumption has gone down dramatically over the years. I really only drink at this point for events, for things to celebrate and, yeah, like major milestones. So I have had a couple of those. So one of the things this month that I would have normally drank at, which I did not, I ordered myself a nice little mocktail instead, was my husband's birthday. So we went out to a nice dinner for his birthday, got some steak, and if you know me, usually oysters and martinis are my thing. That is what we do anytime we celebrate. If you heard me talk about my birthday celebration, that's exactly what we did. And so this year's celebration looked a little different. So we did still get the oysters, but I got a mocktail instead. And honestly, like, I've just gotta say, this mocktail was low key fire. It was like a coconut grapefruit tropical experience. It was delightful. So I held strong on that day and it honestly felt so good. Like, I woke up feeling great the next day, Absolutely no hangover. And I just felt really proud of myself for sticking to that one. The other thing that I have gone to that I would normally drink at was I actually just got back from a weekend in Mexico for a wedding. Now, a wedding is like the epitome of celebratory experiences where you're definitely, like, drinking champagne, you're having some cocktails, you're getting out on the dance floor, you're getting loose, you're having a good time, and your girl did not drink at all. And I honestly didn't even crave it. I was having so much fun. I think the wedding was something I was nervous about because usually you're drinking and you're dancing and, you know, I've always relied on the alcohol to just, like, be more social and like, get out there and have a good time. And I was so surprised at how much fun I had without having a sip of alcohol and how much I really didn't even miss it. Like, it was really such a good time. I woke up the whole weekend feeling phenomenal. I had absolutely no. No hangover, no headache, no tummy ache, none of the things. And no anxiety. I don't know about you guys. But anxiety has been something I've been waking up with more and more as the years have gone on. And it just felt wonderful to wake up refreshed and hydrated and not crappy at all. And not like wondering did I say something or did I do something or any of, any of the things that come along with anxiety. If you suffer from anxiety, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You're kind of just like questioning, like, oh, do I need to check my Instagram story? Like, did I post something I didn't want to post? Like, you just kind of get in the moment, you're living life, you're having fun, and then you're just like, oh, wait, I don't know if that's necessarily what, what I wanted to do or what I wanted to say or how I wanted to spend my time or whatever it might be. So happy to report, survived, checked, checked, safe, survived from my first alcohol free wedding that I have literally ever attended in my entire life. And it was lit. And I think going to that and experiencing that and not having alcohol and just feeling so much better on the back end, it really is giving me so much confidence because it was something that I was kind of nervous about and I was like, oh, maybe I'll just have a glass. Like, maybe it'll not be that big of a deal. But I was like, no, I am going to stay strong on this. This is something I committed to and I'm going to go and prove to myself that I can have a lovely time at a wedding and put myself in an environment that I would normally consume alcohol in and not. And I'm going to have a great fricking time. And I think since I went in with that intention, that's exactly what happened. So just happy to report back. And again, just giving me so much confidence for heading into more social situations and more events that normally I would lean on having a glass. Not necessarily because I need it, like I'm normally a social person, but it's just kind of like the norm. It's just kind of the thing that you do. So, yeah, and obviously you're a girl, you're saying, oh, I'm not drinking. The next immediate question everyone wants to know is if you're pregnant, which is just like, that's kind of annoying too. Like, I think we just need to create an environment where women are just allowed to not drink. We're allowed to just like not be, you know, consuming alcohol at things and just assume that we're with child. That's Crazy. But anyway, I did answer that question quite a lot. Quite a lot. Obviously newly married as well. So everyone wants to know, like, oh my gosh, when are you having kids? But not having kids, just choosing myself over here, just choosing my own health and choosing not to drink. So I was drinking pineapple juice and sparkling water the whole time as my drink at the wedding. And again, not gonna lie, really refreshing. And it was delicious. And yeah, nice little something to have in the hand, something to sip on that wasn't just plain water. I think also made it easier to just walk around, socialize, enjoy a beverage that wasn't necessarily including alcohol. So that's going super strong for the 75 aligned challenge too. And then the reading has been really great. I've been diving into really awesome books this month. Podcast, audiobooks, like, all the stuff has been really great with that. And then meditating. I've definitely been staying consistent with that a lot more frequently than I had been. So that's been really awesome. And yeah, I think all in all, I'm feeling really aligned. Like, I really am just feeling in alignment with my goals and the things that I'm working towards. And that was the whole purpose of the challenge. So going strong. Even though I fell off the wagon for a little bit there, for a few days, we are moving forward with full speed, giving myself the grace to continue to just create the healthy habits that I need and focusing on progress over perfection. So if you're listening and you were in the challenge and you were like, oh, I kind of fell off too, that is okay. Maybe you've been more quiet about it, but yeah, things have. Things have been going pretty good over here for me. And so if you needed a little bit of an excuse or to feel okay about not being a hundred percent, here it is. We're all in this together, sister. Like, let's just keep moving forward. I did also want to share. Some people have been having really incredible moments, breakthroughs, wins in the 75 aligned challenge. People DMing me just saying, like, wow, I feel so in alignment. This healthy habit kick was exactly what I needed to focus on myself. I'm seeing wins in my business. I'm signing new clients. I'm paying off credit cards that I wanted to pay off. I'm, you know, canceling subscriptions. One person's wanted to go through and figure out ways to optimize their subscriptions and ended up saving $2,500 annually by going through and doing that exercise. There are people that have been working out that are losing Weight that are just feeling more like themselves, feeling in alignment, moving forward into the end of the year, just feeling really excited with where they're at. So I just want to say kudos to everybody that's focusing on themselves and pouring into themselves with this challenge and just seeing some wins. I think there's so much power around creating an intention and committing to yourself and committing to your goals and what you're working on, and it's just really exciting to see. I've just so, so appreciated everybody that shared their wins in the group chat, who's DM'd me, who sent me voice notes of just how excited they are with the intention that they're seeing. I think some of the other really exciting wins have just been, like, focusing on setting intentions around their financial goals and actually seeing them come to life. Like, random opportunities popping up and, you know, people sending them money and just, like, manifesting little money wins left and right because they set the intention, they knew what they needed, and that is just my favorite thing ever. So I love to see that. So congrats to you all and excited to continue to head forward, staying in alignment with this challenge and seeing, you know, just how good things can get between now and the holidays. So, yeah, kudos to everyone that's sticking to the challenge and keeping the themselves and their goals in the forefront of their daily activities, because that is awesome. You rock. And keep it up. Okay, the other thing I want to share with you guys about my month is just some of the events that I went to. I think going to events is so much fun. Like, I love, love, love, love, love that this gets to be a part of my life. It gets to be a part of my business model. I am just obsessed with going to these things and getting a chance to meet new people, to get introduced to new ideas, to new topics, to get expanded in my way of thinking and how other people are living their life and running their business and what they're focused on. And so going to events, like, honestly, when I realized that this got to be a part of my life as a coach and as somebody who wants to continue to evolve and to grow and to bring back that information to others. Like, when I was like, wow, I can't believe this gets to be my life, that I get to go to these things and this gets to be a part of something that is essentially part of my business model. Like, going to these events, meeting new people, getting in front of new crowds and new audiences and networking with different types of people. Like, it's Just the bee's knees. I'm obsessed with it. So I went to three events this month that really were all quite different and I want to share a little bit about the ones I went to. So all of them are local events in Phoenix. One of them was the Aspire event, which is an event for entrepreneurs. There was a lot of business talk, a lot of business focused people that came in and gave speeches and keynote presentations about obviously their business and what they do. I got to see one of my favorite people that I follow online, Cody Sanchez there. She is all about buying boring businesses and investing in businesses. And so I have followed her for a while. I think everything that she teaches is really interesting. I absolutely, of course, of course I do want to own a business one day like that. She talks about like laundromats and car washes and all of these different types of businesses. Like the boring handyman stuff that, you know, people might not think is sexy or fun, but like people need like a window washing business. These things that are not necessarily, like I said, like the bitcoins of the world, they're not like sexy and fun and necessarily like the newest technology. But her whole thing is going in and buying boring businesses and then utilizing technology and social media to revamp those businesses and, you know, pour in more revenue and all of that into them. So hearing her speak was super awesome. There were a lot of other speakers there. I think Rob Gronkowski was one of them. Kevin o' Leary from Shark Tank was there. There was a lot of people getting up there and kind of talking about their own niche within businesses and sharing their expertise with the audience. So that was super awesome. My biggest takeaway from that was really every single person's key message was really just about being in control of your finances, being in control of your financial future, and just how important it is to know your shit when it comes to that. You need to be able to understand how money is funding the life that you're trying to build, which obviously is a core message that I share. So I thought that was really cool to hear all of these different people in their respective areas talk about the importance of owning your money. And while I was at that event, the owner of the event talked about his own three day mastermind that he was hosting, which is the three day mastermind that I shared all about on an episode called Spilling the Tea on how billionaires are made, and talked about it online and was sharing all of the wealth building and tax saving strategies that the 1% are utilizing. So he was Selling that ticket to the event at Aspire. So I'm at Aspire and I'm like, oh shit, this is so my jam. A three day money conference in my backyard. I obviously have to be in that room. So I signed up and I'm at that event. That event is now called Money Is. It was a three day conference and I went to that completely alone. I have not gone to an event like that before where I was just like absolutely by myself. And I'm not going to lie, I kind of loved it. Most of the events I go to, I'm like, hey, I want to network. I want to get to know people. This was definitely different. This was a different crowd and just a different setup. It was a lot of just being talked at and learning. Not necessarily a network networking event. And since I was learning about such like complex topics and it was really an opportunity to learn, it was kind of a nice change of pace. Like I wouldn't say I'd want to go to too many events like this where I'm not really getting a chance to network and there's not really like my type of people in the crowd. It was definitely like a lot of older business people, but it was just really nice to go sit and learn and obviously getting a chance to sit down and expand my mind and just learn what the heck the wealthy like the 1% are doing with their money. That was fascinating. Like my mind was seriously blown. I sat in the back, took a million notes and just was just fascinated at the strategies they were using. And they are intense strategies. They are not just strategies that like your average investor is going to go out and use. But obviously very intriguing to understand what's going on and also to just like aspire to be able to get to a point where maybe we could utilize some of those strategies in our own wealth building strategy in life. So it was super interesting. If you want to know more about that, I'm telling you, it's so worth a listen. Especially if you are super interested in personal finance or if you're just kind of like intrigued to know what the wealthy are doing. Because it's just different. It's not the traditional personal finance advice, it's not the strategies that I teach, it's not the strategies that I follow, it's not the strategies that majority of people are utilizing. Obviously that's why it's the strategies the 1% are utilizing. But it was really, really fascinating to understand how they are essentially creating laws to build their own money game. That's really what they're doing. They've just got enough money to build the own laws to their game. And they're just playing a different game than you and I are playing. So that episode was the last episode I dropped called Spilling the Tea on how billionaires are made. And it was very interesting. And so I just love those events again, to expand my mind to get an opportunity to learn what other people are doing with money. I think is really important. So that one was really fun. And then the third event that I went to was hosted by my friend Hayley Westphal. It was called the Table. It was a live podcast, recording and networking event. And the topic of that one was so much fun. It was all about creating content that connects with your audience. If you are someone who is creating content online, you know what I mean when I say why, wow, what a love hate relationship with this part of business. It is something that there is just like so many rules to follow and so many suggestions and, you know, I don't know. Create content that follows the algorithm rules and make sure it's cute and aesthetic, but don't make it look like you're trying too hard. And then make sure it gets your point across and make sure it educates your audience. But don't be like too educated because then that's boring. And nobody wants to be like taught to online. Except they do, but they want to be taught to through storytelling. But make sure your storytelling's not a boring story because then no one will listen. And then you also want to make sure you're selling your offers, but you don't want to be like too salesy because people don't like being sold to. Like, there is just so much when it comes to creating content that frankly has been overwhelming, especially for me. Like, I'll just say, like, creating content has been something that's like, like it's just like, oh, I just want to do it right and I want to be able to share something that impacts you and empowers you and gives you information, but also, you know, reaches people and can actually get past the little pieces of the algorithm. But I also don't want to focus on that too much. And anyway, if you can feel me, you can feel me because creating content is one of those things where it's like one of the new 17 full time jobs that you have as an entrepreneur, especially if your main marketing source is creating content online. So all of that to say this was a really refreshing event to go to, to just hear some different people's approach to how content is being created and the things to focus on and just like trying to care a little bit less about everything that I just listed and just showing up authentically and just showing up as yourself and just giving people an opportunity to connect with who you really are. Which is honestly why I love the podcast so much, because it's just so much easier to share with you guys and give you a chance to understand me and hear, you know, how I talk and what my vibe is and what I like. And the podcast has just been a really fun way for me to build that with you and to be able to share who I am a little bit more verse sharing content online, but obviously this is the world that I live in. This is the world that we picked. Like, creating content online is just the name of the game. So being able to connect with some other people and get inspired and get some just different business ideas and content ideas was really fun. And I just absolutely love going to those events. And then they recorded a live podcast there, so that was really, really cool. Yeah, that was fun. So that was the third event that I went to this month. Again, a busy month. I feel like I was just go, go, go between all of those events, between the trip to Mexico, my husband's birthday, and then just, just getting things up and running with the business. You know, we started kicking off some coaching with some clients this month, and so that's been really fun. And then obviously pouring in to the podcast and working on some stuff behind the scenes that I'm really excited to kick out to you guys before the year is up. It has just been a busy month and we're just getting started and I'm looking ahead October. And October is even busier than this month. And so what I wanted to do as well this month is just make sure that I was carving in some me time. I am definitely one of those people that could just put my head down and run at the business like as fast as I possibly can. And I know a lot of people probably, probably relate to that of not carving out enough time for you and for fun things that aren't business related, especially if you are in growth mode, which is obviously exactly where I am. So I wanted to be really intentional and I want to encourage you to be really intentional about carving out some time in your month when you're busy to just have, have some fun, to just do some that has absolutely nothing to do with personal growth, with business growth. You know, this is definitely a trap I can fall into where I just want to Constantly be bettering myself, obviously. Right. I have this whole podcast and this whole lifestyle of just becoming better. But what I just want to leave you with is that becoming better and becoming your best self also means carving out time to do that just. Just makes you happy and doesn't necessarily have to do with productivity. So I was really intentional this month and just wanted to carve out some time for myself to do that. So one of the things I did, which I have not done this in years, was restart one of my favorite shows from my childhood. It felt like the perfect time. I live in Arizona, so fall is like, it's still 110 degrees plus here, but we are still getting into fall vibes. So I restarted Gilmore Girls, which when I say this was one of my favorite shows ever. Like I owned the entire series of Gilmore Girls DVD collection back in the day. Like every series, obsessed, obsessed. I haven't seen it in forever. So I restarted that and that's been so fun. Just like what a comfort show at the end of the day, just being like, this is my me time. I'm going to watch the show and just, just really enjoy it and not necessarily have to watch something or do something that's like hyper productive with my time. So if you watch Gilmore Girls, let me know because I am having so much fun re getting through it. I think I'm like halfway through season two now. So we've definitely, we've invested some time this month in the show and it's just so fun. And then the other thing that I have done, which I love to read books that are not personal finance or personal development related, but it kind of fell off the wagon lately and I haven't let myself read really fun books books. So when I was at the beach this weekend down in Mexico for the wedding, I was like, you know what? We are just gonna read a nice light romance novel. And what a fitting book that I found. It was called Beach Reads and it was all like a romance book about this book writer. And I was on the beach reading it and so it just felt very fitting. It was lovely. I read a good chunk of it on the beach while I was down. And my Mexico, which reading on the beach is hands down one of my favorite activities. And then I got home and the on Sunday and I just literally read the book all day, late into the night, had a solid like do nothing but read this romance book. And it was quite lovely. And I forgot how much I love to do that where you just kind of get like lost in a book. And all of a sudden hours have gone by and you're like, wow, okay, need to finish this stacks. I need to know how it ends. And then you're up way past your bedtime, reading a book, but absolutely loving every moment of it. So, anyway, that is how I wrapped up my last week of the month was just getting lost in a little romance book. And yeah, it was really nice and just a nice reminder to, you know, you don't always have to be pouring into personal development to continue to become your best self. Like, you've got to create space to just do fun things that have nothing to do with your business and growth and all of that. So that was a nice reminder for me, and I hope that it is a nice reminder for you as well. Okay, that was my September, you guys. When I say it was such a great month, it was such a great month. But wow, awesome. October is about to be like a dream month. I cannot wait to share with you everything that goes down in the month of October. I've been looking forward to this month for a while. So until next time, babe. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and I'll talk to you very soon. Hey, before you go, I just want to go ahead and say thank you for spending a little bit of your time with me today and also congratulations for finding a chunk of time to carve out and focus on you and moving the needle and becoming a better version of yourself.
