A mindset and money coach, a first generation wealth builder and a woman on a mission to help you master your finances and live your best life. Money is not all we are covering though, because in order to live your best life, you have to become your best self. So we are diving deep into all things personal development and bringing you the mindset shifts, money, tips and inspiration. You need to go out there, be bold and build the life you can't stop daydreaming about. It's time to get busy, babe. Busy getting better. What is up, babe? Welcome to the podcast. Today's episode is going to be specifically about a new challenge that I created called 75 Aligned. And the challenge came from me seeing over the years so many people doing this 75 hard challenge. If you're familiar with it, it is just like a 75 day challenge that is supposed to test your mental strength, your physical strength, and I like the vibe of that. I like the idea of being able to create some space in your life to challenge yourself mentally and physically, to hold yourself accountable to daily habits and expectations that are going to help you grow and going to help you evolve. But I just haven't been able to get myself to do the 75 hard challenge. And I've been reflecting on and I think it's just because the challenge itself, the daily habits, they don't really feel in alignment with the type of habits that I want to create. I love the idea of the challenge. I love the idea of pushing myself, but I just wanted to create something that just felt a little bit more feminine. It felt a little bit more in alignment with the core pillars that I believe you need to pour into to become your best self. And those pillars are pouring into your physical, mental, spiritual and financial health. And so I have created my own 75 day challenge called 75 Aligned that I'm kicking off at the start of September. And I want to invite you and anybody that feels called to just kind of have a habit reset and to just focus on these core pillars of your life and to just really, truly get in alignment with your best self. If you are listening to this as the episode's coming out at the start of September and you start anytime between really September 1st and September 10th, you're gonna be done with this challenge by the time we head into Thanksgiving week. And so you can head into the holiday season just feeling aligned and feeling like your best self. And I know for a lot of us, the holiday season can be stressful and crazy and, I don't know, depending on what your family situation is, it can be a challenging time. And so I just think it's a really cool time right now, a cool gap in the calendar that you can prioritize yourself, prioritize your own goals and get in alignment with your best self and head into the end of the year feeling so accomplished and just feeling like you are on top of the world. And so I want to share with you all of the different components of what the 75 aligned challenge looks like and invite you to join. If you are listening to this episode and you're like, yes, this is for me, I definitely want the structure, I want the accountability. I want to be able to be in a space where I can go after these goals with somebody else. Then DM me on Instagram the word aligned. And I have a habit tracker that I will share with you that you can use. And then I'm also going to add you into a group chat with everybody else that decides that they also want to do this challenge right now. Because I think a sense of community and accountability is really important. Especially, like, 75 days is a long time, right? Like, it might still feel exciting and easy at the start, but there's going to be rough days, there's going to be lulls in the challenge that feel hard to get through. And I want to create a space for everybody that is wanting the push and wanting the accountability and wanting the good vibes and wanting the energy to be able to do this and have some fun with it. So dme the word aligned, if that is you, and I will send you the tracker. I'll answer any questions that you have about it to see if I can help make this challenge and experience just the best possible time for you. And then I'll add you to that group chat as well, where everybody can pop in and share their wins and their challenges and get some support. And I'll be dropping in so some thoughts and some motivation and just some things along the way to be able to help you along the journey and help you stay accountable. So what the heck is 75 aligned? Let me dive into all of the details. So again, you want to focus on becoming your best self, and I think that requires a balance in your life. Obviously, I am a money coach. I think that finances is a really important component of that. And that was a major thing that was lacking from the 75 hard challenge. And so a pillar that wasn't in there at all. So physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, and then there's a little bit of personalization in here where you get to add in your own habit. And this is also a challenge where we focus on progress, not perfection. So the daily habits that are going into this challenge are going to be one 45 minute workout. This can be like a full blown sweaty, weightlifting workout. It can be a walk, it can be yoga, it can be anything that helps you move your body every single day. And you can have like a little mix match here. You could do like a 20 minute walk and a 25 minute yoga session. Like have some fun with it, break it up. Maybe you do one of them in the morning, maybe you do one of them at night. It doesn't have to be in one setting, but moving your body for 45 minutes in a day, however you want to get there, have some fun with it and just introduce some flow and some movement into your body and into your daily habits. Movement is so, so important for so many reasons and obviously physical health is so important for us to be able, feel like our best self. So take this and run with it however you want, but make sure you are moving your body every single day for 45 minutes to hit that 45 minute physical component of the challenge. For the mental component, I want you to pick a book to read 10 pages every single day. Preferably pick a book that is, you know, self development, personal development, educational, something that is going to help you learn, help you expand your mind, help you with your mindset. If you are looking for some recommendations, recommendations for a book to read, let me know. Your girl loves to read. So I'd love to give you any recommendations in different categories that you might be looking for. But pick a book and you're going to want to read 10 pages every single day as part of the mental component of this challenge. For the spiritual pillar, you're going to meditate every single day. You want to find either guided meditations or if you are a pro meditator, like I am not here. I've been meditating for years and I still use guided meditations. But if you're there, good for you. You can just do a silence meditation. Pick whatever length you want. I don't want to put like a total structure around this. If some days you have, you know, 30, 40 minutes, I know some people that meditate for an hour. Take your time with it, really sink into it and find a flow that makes sense for you. If you are having, you know, a busier day or you are rushed in the morning and that's when you want to fit it in. Find something that's smaller, find a guided meditation that's, you know, 10 minutes long that can really help you drop in and focus on, you know, your mindset. And the spiritual component of meditation. Meditation has an endless amount of benefits and I think this is such an impactful, powerful habit to work into your daily routine as you're trying to connect with your best self, as you're trying to elevate to become your best self, as you're really trying to embody that version of you. So the spiritual component is a daily meditation practice for the financial pillar. You are going to focus on whatever the next big money goal is that you have. And this can be learning to budget better and spend less money. It could be focusing on getting out of debt. It could be a savings goal or an investment goal that you have. And whatever you are at, everybody is in such a different financial state. And this is why, this is one of those goals that is customizable to you because I want it to resonate with where you're at in life and what you're focused on and what's going to make you feel financially in alignment with your best self. So if you are someone who's focused on budgeting better and spending less, maybe look at something that like, you know, that you could spend less money on. Maybe you are an avid doordasher and you've low key been wanting to kick that habit or you spend money on Starbucks every single day or you are, I don't know, insert whatever like your guilty pleasure is. Maybe this is an opportunity for you to challenge yourself, to put a, a pin in that and to start saving money in that area. I think we could probably all look at our life and find an area where we know we're overspending or we're spending out of alignment with our own goals and rein it in a little bit. Maybe it's a daily spending limit where you can only spend so much money in a day. So if that's your goal, try and figure out how can you budget better on a daily basis and set a daily goal for yourself that is going to feel achievable but also challenging, right? If you never get Starbucks, don't pick, don't get Starbucks because you already don't do that, right? So challenge yourself. I feel like if you really sit and think about this, I, I bet something's going to come up for you that you feel like you could challenge yourself to over the next 75 days. If you are in a saving mode or an investment mode, what's that dollar amount that you can commit to to putting away into a high yield savings account or putting into an investment portfolio? And if that is your goal, you kind of have the easiest option here of just automating that. What can you do right now to set and automate a savings or an investment goal and forget about it, but commit to a dollar amount that again is going to feel like it's helping you achieve the end all goal here, but it's also challenging you, but it's also doable. So do some reflection here on what that could look like. If you are in your investment journey and you want, maybe the next step for you is looking at like your IRA account, maybe you look at how much you have invested or how much you want to commit to investing in it. How can you break that down from the overall goal between now and the end of the year or now and tax season when the cutoff date is for an IRA specifically? And what is a, how do you break that up into how many days are left and can you hit your goal in a daily number? If you're saving for a big trip or you're saving for a big purchase that you have coming up, what can you commit to daily that you want to put aside? And again, just automate it right now so that you kind of have that going for you. If you are looking at, I don't know, like again trying to invest more and save more, maybe you're looking at a goal. I think this is a really fun one, however much money you're spending from a discretionary perspective. So kind of like that fun money or your wants money, maybe you're investing the same amount. So if you spend $50 in a day, you have to hold yourself accountable to investing $50 a day or putting that into a high yield savings account. Whether you're on your savings or your investment journey, whatever, you know, aligned more with where you're at, maybe that's your objective. Okay, if I spend this much money, I'm going to invest this much money. And that could be a really fun challenge for you between now and the end of the 75 days. Because what that does is it really makes you look at, okay, if I can I buy this twice? Like is this actually an item that I can afford and do I want to invest the same amount of money that I'm spending right now? So that could be really fun. Take some time and to really think about like, what is a finance goal that you need to work towards that you can break down into a daily habit? And again, if you're having challenges coming up with something here, please reach out to me. This is like my whole world. I would love to help you come up with a goal that challenge you and. And it also feels in alignment and it's going to make you feel good at the end of the 75 days that you're going to look back and you're going to be like, hell yeah, I did that. I saved that much or I paid that much debt down or I invested that much money, whatever it is. So have some fun with this one. And again, feel free to reach out and if you need some help brainstorming, I'm here for you, girl. And then the other goal that you're going to set outside of these four core pillars is going to be in a personal aligned action that you want to add into your habits. This can be anything. This can fall under any of these four categories or it can be something completely different. It can be really anything that's just going to help you grow and help you challenge and is specific to you and where you're at in life. And this is kind of like the fun, personalized version of this whole thing because it's like, what are you focused on? What does your higher self do? What is your best version of yourself? What is a habit that they have? This could be a dietary thing. Maybe you are focused on protein intake every single day. Maybe you really want to challenge yourself to ditch sweets if that's something that you feel called to do. Maybe it's something for your business. Maybe it's a daily activity that you know you need to be completing, like putting out a piece of content every single day. Maybe that's what you feel like is going to really help you grow in your business right now and that's what you want to focus on. Maybe you are really in your physical era and you want to tack on another challenge for yourself and it's getting in 10,000 steps a day. Maybe you really want to focus on journaling or affirmations like the world is your oyster, my friend. You can pick any habit here that you want. Maybe you really want to start tongue scraping. And so you're going to challenge yourself to tongue scrape every single morning or have a morning and a nighttime facial routine because you're really focused like on your skin care goals right now. This is literally open to anything. But I bet you that there is a habit out there that you are like, oh, if I could just do this every day, or I. I just know my life would be better. I know I would be in more alignment with myself. And you've kind of like tiptoed around making this a daily habit. This is your time, this is your opportunity, this is your sign to challenge yourself to make that habit. Whatever's coming up for you right now, part of this challenge. So that is going to be your aligned action. So to recap here, you're going to have a 45 minute workout. You are going to read 10 pages a day. You are going to meditate daily. You are going to stick to whatever your daily money goal is that's going to help you accomplish your next financial goal. And then you're going to choose an aligned action of your choice. So those are going to be five habits that you are going to do every single day for the next 75 days. And there's going to be one part of this challenge that is a habit that you are going to ditch and that is drinking alcohol. I don't know about you, but I don't personally feel like I can be in alignment with my best self when I'm waking up hungover and I'm waking up feeling sluggish and gross. And I just don't think alcohol is conducive to us all becoming the best versions of ourselves and achieving, achieving the goals that we know that we want to achieve and know that we can achieve. And I think even more recently, there is just an endless amount of science that's coming out that just shows it proves that alcohol is not good for us. It's not helping us elevate ourselves. It's not helping us become who we want to become. And so I think ditching alcohol over the next 75 days so that you can really pour into these goals and prioritize the habits that you want to build is going to be a crucial part of this challenge. So you've got your five daily do's and your one daily don't. And I think that this is something that is going to be very attainable and manageable for you as you evolve and as you become the version of yourself that you're after and the person that you want to show up as over the next 75 days. The other piece of this challenge that I've added in is something that I think is super important, and it's all about prioritizing progress over perfection. So usually in a challenge like this, if you screw up and you miss a day or the day gets away from you, or you have an event that you know you want to have a drink at, or you have, I don't know, whatever it is that just keeps you from achieving all of these daily habits in a day, then you have to just totally scratch all of the days that you've poured into this and you start over. And I don't know about you, but I just don't really like that. I think progress over perfection is so important, especially when we're moving forward in changing our habits and changing who we are. And so this challenge comes with. With two bonus days, meaning that you have two days within the 75 days. If you, again, the day gets away from you, you're not able to achieve all of the tasks. You're just going to X that day off, and you're going to tack one day onto the back of this challenge, and you can do that twice. So if you use two bonus days throughout the challenge, your challenge will end up being 77 days long with those two bonus days mixed in. If you don't need the bonus days, more power to your sister, go ahead and just complete it in 75 days. But I just don't think we should throw away all the progress that we make towards something for days that just get in our way. Like, some days just end up going completely fucking sideways, and nothing goes the way that we thought they were going to go. And you can't get to all of the habits, you can't get to all of the things, and that doesn't mean you suck. That doesn't mean you're a failure. That doesn't mean you should just scrap all the progress you made and start the frick over. So give yourself a little bit of grace and give yourself a little bit of balance throughout these next 75 days. And, yeah, take the opportunity, if you need it, to mark off two X's on your challenge and tack them onto the back day and keep moving forward and keep just pushing yourself and giving yourself grace throughout the challenge. So that, in a nutshell, is 75 aligned. Now, if you want to be a part of this, like I said, message me on Instagram, send me the word align. I'm going to add you to a group chat where we go through and hold each other accountable and drop our wins and drop our struggles and see if we can help brainstorm ways that people can, you know, get through the road bumps easier. And also if you need help coming up with ideas for your aligned action or your financial goal, then we can all be here for each other and I also have a tracker that I'll send you that you can utilize and yeah, let's just get in alignment. Let's get in alignment with our best self. Let's put our heads down, let's focus on us. Let's become the best version of ourselves we can and get some frickin shit done between now and the end of the holidays. I am so excited for this challenge. I'm a little bit nervous. Obviously I'm going to push myself here and I'm doing it really publicly and I'm hoping that you will help me stay accountable on this just as much as I want to help you stay accountable. So let's get after it, sisters, and let's get aligned af. Hey, before you go, I just want to go ahead and say thank you for spending a little bit of your time with me today. And also congratulations for finding a chunk of time to carve out and focus on you and moving the needle and becoming a better version of yourself. If there is anybody that you think could benefit from this podcast, please share it with a friend, share it with a family member. Feel free to share it on your socials and help me spread the word about busy getting better. Thank you so much and I will see you on the next episode.
