Money is not all we are covering though, because in order to live your best life, you have to become your best self. So we are diving deep into all things personal development and bringing you the mindset shifts, money tips and inspiration. You need to go out there, be bold, and build the life you can't stop daydreaming about. It's time to get busy, babe. Busy getting better. What is up, you guys? Welcome to the podcast. Today's episode is going to be so good because I am taking you behind the scenes on my signature framework, Making a Millionaire. I created this framework and this methodology because frankly, it is exactly what, what I wish I had years ago when I started on this path. I feel like there is so much information out there in regards to changing your financial reality. And typically when you enter into the personal finance world, it is heavily focused on budgeting better and restriction and just like be better with your money, right? And in that conversation. And there isn't a whole lot of financial literacy about what to actually do with your finances to invest into to start building wealth. I feel like so many of us are, you know, kind of just fed this narrative that I definitely followed, which is work hard, get a good job, make good money. All is going to be right in the world. But what we're not taught is what the heck to actually do with that money in order to actually achieve financial freedom, to build wealth, to be able to actually understand what it feels like to escape the paycheck to paycheck cycle. I know I was stuck in that for forever. Even when I started making really good money, I was just spending more because I just didn't understand what to do with it. And also, finance is not just numbers. Money is not just numbers. There is an incredible study that was done that shows that 90%, 90% of the financial decisions that we make are rooted in emotion and not logic. And so I know when I started on this journey, I was always just like, why do we not have financial literacy? Why don't we teach people how to build wealth and save money on their taxes and what sort of accounts that they should be leveraging to invest in and what they should be investing in? Like, I was just banging on the door of like, we have a major financial literacy problem which we do. But when you understand that 90% of the decisions that we make are rooted in emotion and not logic, you start to understand that even if you have the knowledge, even if you have the, the strategy of what you should be doing with your finances. Emotions are triggered by our beliefs and they're triggered by our mindset. They're triggered by the thoughts that we have about money. It is a lot of psychology. And so that is a major component if you want to change your financial reality. It all starts in the mind. It really, really does. And then the other component that I also feel like I piece together in here is the manifestation component of it being able to be in energetic alignment with what it is that you are desiring with what it is that you are trying to attract. Manifestation gets a like a woo woo wrap. Like, it's just this, like, think about money and then you're gonna have money and that's not it at all. Like, I honestly equate manifestation to the biggest personal development journey because what you're doing is you're instilling self confidence in yourself. You're moving different, you are just embodying a different version of yourself. I think the biggest thing to realize is that the current version of you has got you to your current reality. And if you want to live a different life, if you want to do something different with your finances, if you want to become a different version of yourself, you've got to figure out who that is and start to embody it. And so there are so many components here. Everything that I'm going to walk you through in this framework is exactly what has helped me pay off $70,000 worth of debt, has helped me grow my net worth. I'm now on track to retire a multimillionaire. If I never invest another dollar. And you already know I'm going to continue to invest, I'm going to continue to even grow that number. And more than work, and this framework has helped me step out of fight or flight of this, like needing to grasp onto money, of being able to just truly enjoy life to the fullest. This is not about having the most money. It's not about making all the money and holding onto it. It's about using money to build a life that you are obsessed with. And in order to do that, there is nervous system regulation, work that needs to go along with that. There is like comfort and ease and conf. It's so much more than just, okay, I'm gonna update my budget spreadsheet and I'm good. Then I'm gonna be okay. If it were that easy, everybody would be good with their money. Everybody would be rolling in the dough. And that is just not the case. So I'm so excited to take you through this again. This is the framework that has changed my life. This is the framework I pieced together through working with my clients and just seeing so many similarities between what we really need. Like, what do you need as a female that's trying to get into the driver's seat of your. What are the steps that you need to take to go from chaos and debt and paycheck to paycheck? Or just, like, not feeling enough, not feeling like you're enough, not feeling like you have enough, this negative scarcity mindset to just fully owning your future and feeling so confident with where your money's going and knowing without a doubt that you are going to get to live the life that you want to live, to follow your passions, to fulfill your desires, to become the person that you know you're meant to become. Like, money is so much more than just money. It can change your life. Doing this work and getting in control of your finances is such a domino to absolutely changing everything about your life. And like I said, most people, when they try and fix their finances, they come in at the finance section, and frankly, it's just not enough. And until I was really able to piece all these pieces together and create this framework and create this roadmap, it feels like you're just banging your head against the wall and why aren't things working for me? So I'm going to go ahead and dive in to what this framework is. There are four key parts, four main pillars to this framework. Again, this framework is called making a millionaire. This is the method I take my clients through, and it is a game changer. When you hear making a millionaire, what I want you to realize is this is not, again, about hitting some financial milestone. It absolute is going to happen. But when we're talking about making a millionaire, I want you to think about the millionaire version of you. I want you to think about the version of you who moves through life with confidence and doesn't have to say that they can't experience things because they can't afford it, that they can't go on these trips, that they can't invest in themselves, that they can't take that leap and that risk and leave that job to pursue their passion like the millionaire version of you and is somebody who's got confidence and understands what her power is and is able to do the things that she wants to do. And so, yes, the financial cushion of actually having the financial backing of that lets you open up different doors, it lets you take different risks. And so being able to actually grow your net worth and have a financial safety net, to know that you're good literally calms your nervous system, which lets you move out of fight or flight, which lets you take on bigger risks, which lets you do things that maybe you would not have done. And that's why I say changing your finances changes your life. This work is so deep and it just impacts everything. Like it changes so much. And so the very first pillar and the very first step in this framework is all around your mindset, learning to master your millionaire mindset. Because as we said, the emotions are what trigger our financial decisions. And if you understand where our emotions come from, our emotions are triggered by beliefs that we have, which then trigger thoughts that we have, which then trigger our emotions, which trigger our actions, which trigger our results. And so like I said, most people come in and they want to change at the action part, but you've got to go even further back and look at, well, what was my emotion behind this spending and why did that get triggered? What beliefs do I have? And so you really want to have a clear understanding of what your beliefs are about money. Your beliefs shape your reality. This is true in any facet of life. But specifically with money, if you think that money is really hard to come by, if you think that having an excess of money is bad, if that makes you greedy, if just wanting more makes you feel bad, right? If just wanting more money is like, oh, I can't want that, I should just be grateful for what I have. There are people that are starving and struggling and homeless. And yes, all those facts are true, but also you wanting more money does not make you a bad person. There are all of these deeply rooted beliefs that you might have about finances that shape the way that you treat money, shape the way that you view money. And in turn, they are going to self sabotage your financial reality. Because if you believe having an excess of money makes you a bad person, you're just going to give it away. If you believe that shady people are the people that become rich, like you're not shady, so you're not going to do what it takes to, to be able to actually reach millionaire status. So it's really important to understand how your subconscious beliefs are ruling your life. And our subconscious is running. 95% of the show, 95% of the decisions that you make every single day are on Autopilot, meaning that you are just going to move through life making decisions, whether you realize it or not, that are going to impact your finances. And a lot of thoughts and beliefs that are rooted in finances are based in scarcity. There's not enough to go around. I'm not going to have enough to be able to do that. I can't afford that. I can't be, I can't be that type of person. There's no way I could hit millionaire stat. There is just so much scarcity there. And so what you have to do is figure out what your individual beliefs are. And those beliefs typically come from how our parents talked about money when we were younger and the things that we witnessed when we were children. Our subconscious mind and our beliefs about the world are fully formed by the age 7. And so when we are in those formative years as a kid, I don't know about you, but like I barely even have memories from that timeframe. So you've really got to recognize the fact that you could have beliefs about the world and about money that you don't even have memories from. And so you've got to really be able to get crystal clear on what you believe to be true about money. And then what we do is we really help you figure out what would be a more supportive belief. And we start to actually rewind, rewire your brain and we start to rewire the way that you view money and what you believe is possible for yourself. It does not matter what your finance plan is. If you don't have the mindset that supports the fact that you deserve the path that you're on and that you're capable of being the kind of person that can make and grow and hold a million and millions of dollars, you will not reach it. You will continue to self sabotage. You will find ways to just screw it up. And so your mindset is the basis, like we've got to get really clear on what it is that you believe, what you would like to believe instead. And then we go through and actually do subconscious rewiring. So your there's actually ways to rewire the way that your brain works. And when you are able to start to implement some of these tools and some of these modalities into your life, you will eventually move away from scarcity into an abundance way of thinking. I used to just like grasp onto every dollar and have this belief that there's never enough to go around and like I need to work so hard and if I'm not working and I have free Time that I'm not filling up with money, making opportunities like I'm wasting space and I should be working harder and doing more and pushing more. And that is just simply not the case. That was my fight or flight response. That was me thinking that there's not enough to go around. When you start to realize that that's not true and there's so much money out there and you can learn to manage it with confidence and with that knowing, then things change, Things shift, let me tell you. And so the mindset piece is absolutely first. And the reason that it's so important to do this first is because we are going to go into building your plan. But if you aren't aware of how your mindset is holding you up from making changes, making shifts, then it's just. It makes the rest of the process so much harder. And what I think about this part that's really interesting too is, you know, we'll go through some exercises together and really work through this. And then as we're moving forward through the rest, like, you'll start to notice, like, oh, shit, like, that's my negative mindset right there. That's my scarcity mindset. Or that's that old limiting belief that I have. That's that old money wound that I have that's starting to show up as I'm doing something new and different. Because our brains are wired to help us survive, but they are not wired to help us thrive. And so they fear things that they do not know. Our brain, our brain fears the unknown. It fears anything that it has not seen, anything that it has not experienced. Because in its mind, everything that you have done, everything that you have seen, everything that you have experienced up until this point in life has not killed you yet. Therefore, it is. It is. It must be on some level, okay? Even if it's toxic, even if it's keeping you in a terrible relationship or financial situation like you're not dead. But everything you haven't done, everything you haven't experienced could be. It. It could be a death threat. It could be the thing that's going to kill you. And so when you start to make changes and do something different with your finances, as simple as you used to keep all of your money in a checking account, and now we're going to move some of that into a savings account and we're going to start investing it, and you can't see it when you open up your bank account, your nervous system's like, freaking the fuck out. It's like, where's all my money. You're going to realize that it's triggering this fear in your brain, which is going to start triggering your limiting beliefs. And what happens at that stage is fear is a sneaky little bee. Fear sounds so rational. It's like, ah, I don't know. I mean, the market's kind of not doing so hot right now. I feel like maybe I should just hold on to the money and I should keep it here. I probably should. It's probably not a good time to learn how to invest or work's kind of crazy right now. You've got those trips coming up this summer. Like, it's probably not the best time to invest in anything because I'm going to be. I'm going to be traveling a lot and who knows what's going to come up? Like, you will just start to rationalize the dumbest shit. And what you don't realize is that fear is the thing that is actually controlling that. And so we have to master the mindset first so that you can recognize it and be aware of it as we start to make shifts and changes in your finances moving forward. After we master the mindset, we move on to pillar two. Pillar two is building you an aligned spending plan. This is the part that I think most of my clients like, they think they're going to hate the most, but then it's actually not that scary and they kind of enjoy it and they're really grateful we went through it. This is an aligned spending plan. Budgets are very restrictive based. This is my biggest issue with personal finance, again is that it's just like, spend less money, cut out things, stop doing all the things that you love, and you're going to be just fine. And aligned spending plan is a way to look at managing your money that is in alignment with your own individual goals and your own individual values. And so what we do together is we help you get really clear on that, because that's not something that we really talk about. Like what? Let's zoom out on your life a little bit. What are some goals for retirement? What are some goals for the next three to five years? What are some things that you really enjoy spending money on right now? How can we start to build a plan for your money so we can actually start to go fast, fund all of those buckets so you can start to have money now, you can have money in the near future, and you can have money later. Set it aside for you. It's important to distribute your finances like that. It's also really important to understand what your own values are and what the vision is for the life that you're trying to create. Because if you don't know that, then it's really easy to just, I don't have this extra money. I'm just going to go spend it. Like, if you don't have a plan for your money, it's going to get spent somehow. You're just going to not recognize where it's going. And this is when, you know you hit a point like I did, where you're like, okay, I'm making six figures, but like, where the is all my money going? Like, I thought this would feel different. I thought it would look different. And what you realize is that, oh, I'm just not actually spending my money in a way that feels good to me. And so what we'll do together is we'll get really clear on what your values are. You know, who you want to be, how you want to show up in the world. Like I said, this is a lot of identity work because that is what we're shifting at the core. You cannot change your habits and keep an old identity. You just cannot. You will always default back into your old habits. And so we need to get really clear on the life that you're building and who you're trying to become and what this next level version of you is going to look like. Because then changing the financial habits, it's going to be cake. It's going to be easy. Once we put the plan in place and you start investing, it's like, cool, like, give me more, right? But first we've really got to paint that picture. And so understanding your values, understanding your goals, kind of just slowing down a little bit. And then we do a finance audit. And this is the part where I'm saying, people think they're gonna hate it, but they low key love it. They low key love it. So don't get scared by this part. But what will happen is we'll go through some of your spending and we'll just see, hey, how does this match up to the life that you're trying to build and the values that you just called out and the goals that you have? And where can we immediately start to make some tweaks? There are some super simple fixes in super simple ways that I almost always immediately can help you find to put more money back into your pocket and into your bank account. That does not feel like restriction. That does not make you cut out all of the things you love. And when you have this spending plan, this aligned spending plan in place. What it does is it a removes guilt spending. You know what I'm talking about. When you're like, buying something and you're like, oh, I don't. I don't know if I should be doing this. Right, because you're going to know that you should be doing it. You're going to know that the money's there for it. And what it also does is it makes you feel more empowered with the decisions that you are making with your finances. It removes this. Like, I don't really, can I afford this? Like, should I be doing this? Like, there's just no questions. Like, you know exactly what you're working towards, you know what your goals are. And you might habitually, like, you might start saying no to things that you used to say yes to, but that's because you want to. Because you have now shifted your identity and you've started to see the bigger picture with your finances and you're like, ah, I now see how spending my money in this way is actually not supportive of where I'm heading in life. And so I think I'm going to personally make the decision to reallocate some of those funds. But you can't do that without having a clear picture of everything. So the aligned spending plan is key. And within the aligned spending plan, something that we start to really figure out for you is, what is your financial freedom number? What is your retirement goal? When does work become optional for you? There was a major defining moment for me on this personal finance journey that I was on, and that was recognizing the fact that retirement is not an age, but it is a number. We are so, like, ingrained in our society to just assume that retirement is at the age of 65. And if you want to continue to work until 65, you very well can. But did you. You've also got a plan for it. Like, you need to be able to know that you're putting enough money away so that when you do hit 65, you have enough money to continue to live your life and enjoy that and retire. And you're not scraping by because you didn't save or invest anything. And you're living, you know, the last decades of your life just, like, in the most frugal state possible. Which sounds absolutely terrible to me. Like, I don't want to get to my 60s and 70s and be like, scraping by with pennies, like, no, thank you. Right. And also, you can retire so much sooner than 65. Like, once you start to figure out what an investment number is for you that you can live off of and you start to build a plan towards that. Work becomes optional whenever you reach that number. And there are so many strategies to get there. And there's so many assets you can invest in. Like, there's just so much you can do to shorten that retirement age. And we are just not taught about that. And so what we do is we get to clear, we get clear on what retirement looks like for you and what your plan is and how much a month you want to be putting into that and pillar. And that brings us straight into pillar three, which is really learning how to invest and starting to build out your roadmap to millionaire status. And so this is a very like, simple strategy. We are going to break down all of the stock market questions that you have. We are going to help you build a portfolio that you really understand. You are going to feel so confident in what you're investing in. Like, I know for me for so long, I'm like, okay, I'm an invested in a 401k and I feel like I hear this all the time from clients. It's like, yeah, I know, like I turned my 401k on and I know I'm contributing, but like, I do not know how much and I don't know what I'm invested in. And I kind of just turned it on because everyone told me I should turn it on, but like, I don't really get what it's doing. Like, should I, should I put more in it? Should I not? Like, what are the benefits here? I keep hearing about this thing called an ira. Like, what the fuck is that? Like there's, there's just so many questions, right? And for me it was like, okay, I'm just going to Google shit. And you can find all the answers on Google. But like I'm telling you, it gets more and more confusing. Every Google search I used to put in I would be like, and I have seven more questions. Okay, and now what? And again, I think the personal finance industry really benefits from making everything confusing. But that is a rant for another day. So what we'll do in this section is help you really understand like what it is you're investing in, how much you should be putting in there. And you are going to walk away from this step knowing exactly when you are going to hit millionaire sales status. And then what you can do is find a million and one ways to shorten that timeline, right? So we're going to build the plan and then you can find ways to increase your income. To increase your contributions to branch out, invest in real estate. We are primarily going to focus on in this pillar, investing in the stock market and leveraging things like your 401k, your IRA, your HSA, a normal brokerage account, and helping you understand investing in assets like index funds and stocks and bonds. If you want to talk about crypto, definitely, like, not a major wealth building strategy, but if you want to talk about it, we can talk about it. And really understanding that world that's going to be the foundation of this pillar. There are obviously other ways to build wealth and get on that path, including real estate, including private equity. But primarily we are going to focus on the stock market in this pillar because it is the best place to build your foundation. And if you want to branch out from there and you have goals and you have questions about how all these other assets play into it, totally good. But I think having a baseline understanding of what's going on in the stock market, how to build a portfolio. And also this is like the laziest, easiest way to make sure that you are going to hit your retirement goals. It is a method that you can set and forget. We are going to build out all the systems so you can just automate this and not have to think about it all the time, right? Like, I know I love thinking about money all the time. I know I love talking about money all the time. My goal for you is for you to not have to think about it and talk about it all the time, right? If you want to, cool, let's keep geeking out about it. But, like, let's build a system for you where you're not, like, constantly thinking about money, not constantly wondering, am I doing enough? Am I on track? Should I be doing more? Am I doing the right things? Like, those questions just, they keep you awake at night and they frankly, they just don't need to anymore. So you're gonna leave that section just feeling so confident and knowing exactly, okay, based on this plan, I know when I'm gonna hit millionaire status. That feels really good. And then like I said, do we want to just. Do we want to shorten it? Are there other things that we can do? But you'll at least know exactly when you're going to hit millionaire status based on the plan that we build together. And then the final step, this is where I get to bring in the third in what I think is, like, really the, like, solidifying or the, the fourth solidifying section of this framework. And this is the manifestation work. And again, manifestation gets such, oh, A Woo Woo rap and like whatever. Call me Woo. I'm Woo. I hope you're Woo. I hope you're Woo Carious. I hope you understand the importance of energy because it is so important. When I think of manifestation, I think of personal development like who do you want to become and how do you start to show up like that person? How do you start to raise your vibration? How do you start to be the type of person that easily attracts opportunities? Like that is about your vibes. That is about the way you carry yourself. That comes down to self confidence. That comes down to putting yourself in rooms before you feel ready, raising your hand and asking for the promotion, putting yourself in for an interview for a job that you're like not totally sure you're qualified for. Like there is so much there that's like embodiment work. This is next level identity work. This is how are we going to move through the world as a new version of us and understanding how to do, how to utilize different principles and laws of the universe to our benefit, like law of attraction. If you want to attract desires, if you want to attract new financial opportunities, we've got to work on all the things I just said. We've got to ditch the scarcity mindset. We've got to build the confidence which comes from, hey, knowing where your money is going and knowing that you're on track, right? And then once you have the confidence and the plan and the understanding now, you've got to continue to hold the vision of the life that you're trying to build and who you're trying to become and the impact that you want to make and all of that good thing stuff and move forward and take aligned action and start to move into the world as if this has already happened. You are already a millionaire. It's just a matter of time. That's the energy that you are going to carry forward through this. So we can get deep into building habits, things that you can do every single day. We'll help you build out a morning routine if you want. We'll help you build out what you need to be focused on every single day in order to just naturally become the version of yourself, yourself that's going to easily and effortlessly attract everything that you're getting clear on in our time together in the, in this framework. And like I said this to me is like a very like holistic approach to actually changing your financial reality. You can put a band aid on the problem and just say you're going to budget better. Cool. But if you're not shifting your mindset and you're not fully owning and stepping into the identity of your millionaire self, the strategy will not stick. So you need this whole approach. You really do. And the manifestation piece is fun, right? Like if you are a high achieving person, if you're someone who again wants to just do something different, like you're, you're gonna have to do something different, right? Nothing changes. If nothing changes. And if you want something to change, you have to change. And so this is where we get to help you get really clear on that next level version of you. And how does she show up and where does she dress and what does she spend her money on and what are her habits and who does she hang out with and really help you get clarity on this because this is, that's, that's the name of the game. That's what's going to help you change everything. And changing the rooms that you're in and changing the types of conversations that you're having. That is what's going to solidify your financial future. It's going to help you open up doors. It's going to help you get those raises, attract more opportunities. It's going to help you have random checks come in the mail and bonuses and people reaching out, wanting to, you know, hire you for your side hustle and all of that, all of that. It all comes down to confidence in you and the plan and the knowing that your millionaire itself is already here. She already exists. You just have to show up and do the work and keep moving forward and let the universe and time do the rest. And so those are the four pillars. That's what I take you through in my making a millionaire coaching. This is the framework and the steps that has completely changed my life and will continue to change all of my clients lives because it works, because we're getting it from all fricking angles. And so I am so excited to have this in the world. If this is something that you're like, yes, need, want, gimme, gimme, gimme. DM me, DM me on Instagram and send me a message and be like, yo, this is right up my alley. Like I'm sick of being where I am. I want to do something different. I know I'm meant for more. I know I'm meant for greatness. I know that there is a life out there that I'm envisioning that I want the opportunity to experience. I don't want to be penny pinching. I don't want to be not being able to go on all the girls trips or have the dream wedding or fly first classic. I don't. I want to live that life. Like I say this all the time. I am a bougie bitch and I want to live a bougie life. And I came here, and I know you came here to experience life to the fullest and the only way to be able to experience life to the fullest and not have to say no to opportunities and to not have to just continue to say, maybe someday, maybe someday I'll take that jump or I'll go on that trip or I'll do that thing that I can't stop thinking about. No, Today is the day. The only way to get there is to do this work, is to get really confident with your finances, to ditch the scarcity mindset, to instill a millionaire belief in yourself, that everything that you are working towards and all of the goals that you want to achieve are inevitable. It's just a matter of time. So DM me, let's chat. I would love to support you on your goals. I'll see you guys on the next episode.
