Nicole is the owner of her brand called she Investor and I feel like we've just got to kick it off with how we met because it's such a fun story of how we met. Was outing myself. I slid into Nicole's DMs and I was like, hey girl. Hey. I see you on the Internet talking about money in a way that I love to talk about money, which is really the infusion of strategic personal finance advice with spirituality, with energetics, with, you know, all of these things that are quote unquote, woo woo, but we know are really necessary when we're talking about changing your finances. So I saw Nicole and was like, hey, how are you? Who are you? Tell me more.
Yep, that's how it happened. Met on Instagram and shortly after met in person for coffee and shortly after that attended an in person event together and in another state.
It was honestly crazy. I was telling someone the story recently and I was like, okay, cool. Well, Nicole's in California. I'm in Arizona. If you ever find yourself over in my neck of the woods, let me know. And she responds, I'll be there next weekend, actually. And I was like, oh, we should probably get coffee then. So I got coffee with her and her sister and then thought it was a great idea to travel across the country with a stranger on the Internet and go to a personal finance conference out in Atlanta, Georgia.
And it worked out well. So. Highly recommend. I think it's just really great that it's just like collaboration and support over competition when it comes to being in the same niche, doing the same thing. I think that's something that I've always appreciated from you, Madison, for reaching out. And you've always been like a really good support system to me.
Yeah. What's with all the competition? I think competition comes from insecurity. And we. We have the same mission. How can we help women feel empowered with their finances and change their whole fricking lives? And I just think that the more that we come together on, that, we can do. Now we've started a little business mastermind. We, me, you, me, and one other girl. Shout out, Anisha, hope you're having fun traveling the world right now. We meet once a month and we just yap about, like, all of our frustrations. And it's really nice to be able to have somebody who is in the industry, because coaching is one thing, entrepreneurship is one thing. Being a female finance coach on the Internet is another thing. And so just being able to be like, am I fucking crazy or should.
I be feeling like this right now?
Or just the little things, like, I just. It's. It's very much needed.
And it's nice to do it in just a container where you can fully authentically share what's going on and not have any outside judgment or anything from anyone. So it's a great little mastermind we have.
Yeah. So if you're out there questioning sliding in somebody's DMs, do it. You don't know where it's going to land you. Highly recommend. Highly recommend. And then we went to that personal finance conference, fincon, which was an experience in its own. And we stayed up for pretty much every night just talking about wild conspiracy theories and, like, our deepest traumas. And also a really quick way to bond in case anyone's curious.
That escalated our relationship quickly.
0 to 100. Real quick. Well, I'm excited to have you on because obviously I mentioned you and I have a really fun overlap in the way that we love to talk about money. And I'm obsessed with everything that you're doing right now. And I just know that the girlies need to hear the more about this. So Nicole has a master's in finance and also is trained in intuition and is trained intuitive energy healing and how to think about money on an energetic level. How to incorporate some of these principles into our life. Because you and I know, and I think that the listeners probably know money is so much deeper than just money, right? It's not just numbers on a spread on a spreadsheet. It's not just opening up your bank account and seeing how much money you do or don't have in there. There's just such a deeper layer to it. Let's kick it off with the person who maybe has not even heard about these spiritual laws or is kind of confused with what we're talking about when we talk about this piece of it. Like how would you explain the spiritual laws to someone that's not like so woo woo that they're just gonna roll our eyes, but really helps understand the importance of these principles?
Yeah. Such a great question. I first just wanna say that I don't really think of myself as woo. I came from a very practical, grounded place and it's, it's gotten me far, but only so far. And so I like to really think about this in terms of creation. So everyone is always creating, always. And it's an equal playing field. And then a simplest way, creation is a combination of the way you think, what you believe, how you feel in your body, and the actions that you're taking. And so this has been scientifically proven as well. So it, it really in my mind is science and creation. And what I just shared is also exactly what manifestation, deciding on something, putting the attention out there and then aligning yourself to it. To me, it's, it's not woo at all. But another way to think about it is looking at the spiritual laws as like invisible rules that govern how life works. Kind of like gravity. You don't have to believe in it, but if you drop something, it's going to fall, right? Like explain that. So it's kind of like understanding how the world works on the unforeseen plane, whether you're conscious of it or not. And another way of looking at this for a more tangible example is like if you apply for a job, right? Like you take the action to create your resume, apply to different companies, but there's a delay until you actually get that job. But there's other things happening that you can't See that are going on. That is actually what is going to end up creating you to get to receive that position. That's the way I like to look at it and explain it for those that are new and not necessarily consider themselves woo like myself. It's. It's really cool once you start to play around with this stuff. And I am a big proponent of like, let's practice this, let's try it out and let's actually see what happens so that way you can experience it for yourself.
Yeah, I love that. I know. Are we going to get to a point where this stuff's not woo and it's actually just science? Because when we look at all these things, I mean, now we get to be alive in a time where quantum physics and all of this stuff is backing up all the. The wooness right behind things like the law of attraction. Like, like attracts like. I know. That's a really common thing that we talk about and that's the basis of manifestation. Right. And then obviously there's the neuroscience and all the other ST stuff behind it, but it's like, I don't know, is it real? Like, it feels real. Right. So maybe, maybe eventually we'll have to stop calling ourselves the Woo girls.
I think we're close. I think a lot of people are waking up and shifting and just wanting to try something new because of the programming we've been born into. And enough people are tired of just not getting where they'd like to be, both financially or on a level of fulfillment. You can't look back and be like, okay, the stuff that our parents and other people has done has worked because it just hasn't. So you have to start exploring different ways of thinking, being different actions behind that to really create a new outcome.
And if you are anybody that's like, experienced an energetic shift and then you're like, oh my God, everything's kind of working out for me. You know what I'm talking about? It's hard. You can't label it, but it's definitely a real thing, which is also the thing with intuition. So let's talk about intuition really quick too. I want you to break down. How do you articulate what intuition is? And how does somebody know if it's their intuition that is speaking to them?
It's a really good question. Okay, I'm going to do my best here. I think a really good way for me to explain this is to first talk about my experience, something I don't do as frequently now, but I used to trade stocks and Options quite a bit. I would have a trade tracker, so any position I was looking at taking, I would write that down. I would look at the buy in price, what the specific trade was, the company, and I would really do an assessment of before I make the decision. Like, I do analysis, see what looks like a good trade. And then the last thing I would do is like, how do I feel internally? Emotions aside, there was always this knowing in me that, yes, this is the trade to take or no, I need to avoid this trade. And it's really interesting because every single time, I truly trust that knowing my trades are right. So it was like nine out of every 10 trades were in the green. But as soon as I would get emotional, emotional or after that, I'd be like, oh my gosh, I can do this. And I almost want something to go my way. I would take the trade, I'd be, I'd be right back at square one. Or somebody, I get somebody else's advice and they're like, no, I don't think you should do that. And then I would not do it. Look how it played out. And it played out in the way that I, I thought it would. So I think that was one of the first things that really made me realize that trusting, like my inner guidance. So I think an intuition is everyone has it. And I didn't think this at the time, but everyone has it. And it's really like that knowing internally with emotions aside. So anytime you get emotional and you're like, I don't know, I should do this or I should do that, that's where it's really challenging to know what direction to go, what decision to go. But I think at the easiest way of understanding it, it's that internal knowing or that gut feeling that you have, or someone comes in the room and you immediately are like, I don't know about this guy. Like, they have kind of a weird vibe to them. You're literally picking up on their energetic field. That is a form of intuition as well. So. Well, now I'm probably sounding really woo, but it is this spiritual thing that sounds very woo. But if you think about it, we all have this inner guidance system, or you've probably had an experience. You're like, I just was told to go this direction, or I knew I should have done this and I did it, or I didn't do this and I knew I should have, and if I did, it would have turned out all right. It's not logical, but it's this, this voice, this guidance that is Helping you with the direction of your life is how I would explain it.
Yeah, I love that. I think as humans we're so apt to only want to believe in what we see and, and feel ourselves. But we also, I think all probably admit to just like believing in things, having a little bit of faith. I think the reason I love that you lean so much into intuition, it's like if I'm going to trust somebody, I would hope it's me, right? I would hope that I could learn to develop a level of self trust in my life and in my finances and learning to listen to that and trusting it and seeing how it works out as kind of part of the process there. I am super curious. I know you and I have actually talked about this offline before in one of those said masterminds. I'm curious what your thoughts are now and how you would answer this. And understanding the difference between intuition and maybe fear or lack of knowledge. Right. When you're in that situation that you explained with the trading and it's like, oh, is it just, I don't know enough about this, Is it fear that's showing up? Is it that intuition? I think that it's, it's sometimes really challenging to separate intuition from the emotions that we're feeling. So I'm just kind of curious what your thoughts are and how you, how you would maybe navigate that or try to identify what is what when you're in that situation.
Yeah, that's tough because fear is an emotion. It can be a very strong one. And if you're in a place where there is a lot of fear about making an investment, you probably should not do it. You should probably wait until you have more understanding, more research, more knowledge, till you feel good about like making that decision. Because intuition, if you, if you feel like you're pulled to invest in something and you trust it and there's not really emotions in it in that time, and then as soon as you go to do it and there's fear, usually that, that's a time where it's like, okay, I can trust this, but if you keep that fear, that could actually cause you to make a new decision afterwards where maybe the, the investment, you know, there's some turbulence and you sell at a bad time or something like that. So I think we can go a little bit deeper on this in regards to like how I would think about getting to that point. But I think fear is an emotion. So anytime you have that, it'd be more beneficial for you to work through that fear to Address that and overcome that before making and investments or financial decisions because you really want to make them from a neutral, grounded place.
Yeah, I think that's good. And I think sometimes we can like feel the fear in our body. Right. And hear the monkey mind that goes crazy. I like what you said there about definitely wanting to get to a neutral spot when any decision, but obviously also when we're talking about finances. I'm, I would love for you to take us back because I know you before you got into like the super spiritual side of things. Like you were just tapping into that. You were very logic, right? You were the stock picking, you were the stock market investing, you know, the master's degree, all of that. Can you take us back to when you realized the importance of integrating some of the spiritual laws? Like, was there a moment that it just clicked for you or was there a moment where you're like, I don't like the way this feels right now. Like, I want to try this a different way. Like, I'm just curious what got you to the point of being like, no, no, no, no. We are going to do this and we're going to do it with, with intuition.
Yes, there is a moment and there's a lot to it, but I'll try to keep it simple. So I think it really was about eight months ago that I started diving into the spiritual laws and energetic principles. And I was, yes, like you said, very practical. And even in my business, I was investing in coaches that were teaching me a lot of tangible actions and strategies that worked for them or worked for a certain person and nothing was working for me. I was so frustrated, really thought about throwing in the towel. I'm just gonna go back to a high paying salary, invest, invest, invest, that eventually I'm gonna be fully set up. But I just, it was, it was a really frustrating time. And then I came across someone who was teaching what seemed like some, a different perspective on money, which ended up being a lot of the spiritual laws, energetics, intuition, not knowing that that's what it was. And they told me your knowledge of money is like 10% of what you're supposed to know. And I was, I took a really big ego hit. I was like, what are you talking about? Like there's, there's no way, like time.
Money and energy, learning all there is to know about money and the logistics of the stock market. What do you mean? I only know 10%.
So anyways, I was like, okay, whatever you say. So went down the rabbit hole of learning different principles and really Testing everything for myself. So really shifting the way I viewed money, looking at it as energy and value and it's not just this tangible thing. Looking at how I showed up and even other things like trusting myself more. Because really money wants to be handled in a certain way. It doesn't want to be with somebody who doesn't trust themselves, who somebody thinks that it's going to way, that going away, that there's not enough. Like money is abundance, it's limitless. I really started to look at it that way to where it was like, when I'm spending things, I'm not losing money. I'm just putting it back out in the world for circulation. I'm paying myself first. That means I'm valuing myself more than anything. And money is value. And like. So like there was so many different things that I implemented, but so many shifts happen in a short amount of time. I started receiving money in different funnels, not just from my business. I started picking up some consulting opportunities and clients that had other needs that sought me for support. It was really weird. I was gifted money and I think the bigger thing was it kind of, if I was being honest, I felt a little bit unaligned with the work I was doing. And I wanted it to be more exciting. And through this work, it gave me the permission to be like, you can be your authentic self, you can have fun, you can make money and do something that you really, really enjoy. It's just so many things shifted, both business tangibly, financially and just more importantly, honestly, my energy and how I think I'm showing up and just enjoying my life. So I'm sold on all of it. Now.
Enjoying our life is very important. We are here for fun. We're here to live a full life and enjoy the whole dang thing. I think sometimes people forget that, especially when we're talking about money. There's just so much stress and shame and guilt and fear and all these negative emotions that are normally to. This is letting it be fun. Like, letting it be like realizing that there is more to this and that. I swear, when you have more fun, it is huge. I think about like just dancing. I feel like whenever I dance, good things happen. That's such a silly thing to think about, but. But it's so true. When you're able to move in and move stagnant energy and when you're able to laugh and have fun and you know that concept of just operating at a higher frequency and vibrating higher, when you are operating not from a place of fear but From a place of fun, you're able to laugh more, smile more, you're able to have more confidence. You're able to not be gripping the bat so tight on life and on work. And that bleeds into other things because like you said, people don't want to be around people that like, you know, we want to be around fun people and we want to have fun and we want to be able to just view money in a different way. So I love that. I think that's really important.
Having fun, relaxing, going on vacation, honestly, equals more money. So it's awesome.
Go on vacation.
Yes.
No, we've got our, we've got our people that are like, cool, I'm booking all these vacations, but they're in wild debt. And I'm like, wow, maybe not like that. Let's put a plan behind it, right? Like there's some strategies. One thing at a time. Okay, on that, let's talk about how are you merging the information that you have now with actual tactical, tangible person personal finance things? Right. So we're thinking about, cool, go on vacation, but someone's got, you know, three maxed out credit cards and no money in savings, right. And so it's like, cool. It sounds so fun. But how are we actually integrating this in a way that is tangible for people? I know you've definitely shared some fun things. I want to talk a little bit about what that could look like for someone.
Each of those are, each of those things you, you touched on. Vacation, debt, savings, they're all a little bit different. But really the premise of what I'm doing is breaking down the spirit. First off, helping you look at money through a new lens. Not being so tied to the actual dollar or tied to needing to have a certain amount in your bank account, or thinking that you're irresponsible if you have debt, because really all that's been is really poor programming. And getting out of debt is actually very much tied to an emotional thing. And if you heal and clear the emotional energetic signature of debt, you're able to get out of it. And so it's, it's talking about these principles, understanding how they work, shifting the way that you look at things, and then tying that to the action. So a simple example of like the law of focus, what you're focusing on, you're going to get more of the way that I see a lot of people managing their money is they receive their income, they pay off their expenses, pay off debt, and then if there's, if there's anything left and that's actually backwards because energetically you are almost saying, like, I value myself last versus a simple shift of just every time you get paid, valuing yourself, paying yourself first versus focusing on the other things, like even debt. Pay the debt, make the minimum payments. That's obviously responsible thing to do. But obsessing over and working toward paying off debt is my focus. You're focusing on debt and energetically, you're actually creating more of it. And that's where people get into this place where it's like they're always treading above water, pay off your debt, all of a sudden they get hit with another big expense. It's because you're putting so much focus on it versus saving and valuing and being able to hold more money yourself before all that, those other things. So I forget where exactly we're going with this, but I just wanted to share it because that's one of the most important things.
I love that. So on your perspective then, if somebody like, let's talk about this tangible, right, the traditional plan to pay off debt, right. We're wanting to allocate all the money to the highest interest debt. We'll talk about credit cards. Would your perspective or the way that you would integrate this is to maybe pour into savings first or pour towards a goal first, or maybe not first, but like you mentioned, also doing the bare minimum, also paying off the minimum payment, not getting yourself in the worst situation, but reallocating some of that funds before. Like, is that kind of what you're saying?
Yeah. So it would be paying yourself first, building up your cash savings and also paying the minimums. Right. That so you don't get into a bad credit situation. And I even like to go as far as saving more money, almost saving enough to where you can pay off that debt in full. Because it's like you're focusing on your cash and your wealth building first. And then you're at this place where you have more and you're still going to have left over whenever you decide to pay off that debt fully versus focusing and paying it all off and at the same time not having anything left for yourself. So always, always like paying yourself first, building that big money pot, and then at the same time, once you have a little bit more than the full debt, then go ahead and pay that off because you've shifted your energy and your energetic field to where you already have more money and you're feeling like everything's gone again.
Yeah, I think that's so interesting. That's something I love to do with my clients is like, I feel like the traditional advice is like, don't do anything fun until your debt's paid off. And it's like, well, let's save for some fun goals. Let's also work towards the fun while we're paying off the debt and having that forward mentality of, like, what's the goal that we're working towards? Right. I think, personally, when I was getting off of out of debt, I think you're explaining something that I went through and didn't even realize where it was. Like, I was just trying to get out of debt, Trying to get out of debt, trying to get out of debt. I was just focused on the debt. And then when I actually started learning about money and wealth building, I was like, I'm literally not even playing the game yet. Like, there's this whole other side of it. And the best way I've described it is I almost just kind of zoomed out on the whole journey and was like, the real fun stuff is the investments, and it's the. And it's the wealth building, and it's the getting your time back and getting your freedom and having that flexibility. And I didn't. I didn't know what was happening in my mind in the moment, but it definitely was this, like, I'm gonna stop focusing on the debt, actually, and just realize that there's a bigger game to play. I think I was able to attract more money and also get out of debt a lot faster because I wasn't so, so focused on the debt. I was focused on what was coming next. And what was coming next was overflow and abundance and fun and freedom and flexibility and all of the options and, like, that actual thing. But when I had the lens of like, oh, my God, this debt is so much for me, it totally. It felt like the weight of the world, and it definitely felt like I was never going to get out of it. So I feel like you're explaining exactly kind of what I went through. So that's so interesting.
Yes. And if you think about law of attraction, that money is attracting more money, you have more money, you feel like you have more money, your energy is radiating more money. So it's like the law of focus, Law of attraction, and really honing in on that to get that exact result that you were explaining.
Yeah, I love that. I think that's so great. Okay, obviously you mentioned law of attraction. You mentioned the law of focus. Are there any other universal laws or principles that you feel like, are really powerful or, like, really good for women to know about when they're thinking about their finances. I know you don't go into all of them. Are there any other core ones that you love to talk about?
Another really good one is the law of balance. The world is always to be in equilibrium. And how that relates to money is part of that. Half of that is towards you to keep reinvesting in yourself and investing in other things, savings. The other part is putting it back out in the world. And that is such a powerful thing because money wants to be circulated, it doesn't want to be hoarded. And if you're hoarding, you're probably going to get hit with an expense because you're out of balance. If you're okay and trusting to put money out there, knowing that it's in flow when circulation is going to come back to you. And I think what's really challenging, if I go and tell someone, just save 50% and go ahead and spend 50%, it's like, well, is that even possible for the average person with us being told to like go into debt and buy things and have these high expenses? It's like our savings rate that we're told is good is 10 to 15% maybe. I think there's a lot of things, they're probably conversation, but that we've just learned about money and how to be with it that is not supportive to the potential that we actually have here on earth.
I want to like sound bite that and run that back. That was so good. And it is so true, right? We all follow like the traditional norms, right? When you're talking about, it's like, like you spend money on the college degree, you spend money on the wedding, you spend money on the brand new car, on the, on the homes that are wildly expensive. Now we are kind of told always how to spend money. But also if you look at the state of most people's finances that follow that path, are they actually living an abundant life? Are they actually feeling like they're aligned with their finances? Like, if that that advice works, then I don't think the majority of the population would be buried in debt, not going on vacations because they can't afford it, not getting to a explore their life purpose because they can't get out of the job that they hate because how are they going to pay their bills? There's so much scarcity there. So I think that that's so true and so really looking at which is the work that you and I both love to do is like, how do you actually want to Live life like not how you've been told to live life, but what's important to you and what are your values and where do you see yourself and what kind of experiences do you want to have and what kind of memories do you want to have? And are you actually spending in alignment with that? Because I find that's not often the case. Right. We're obviously just, just I, I talk about it a lot, that we just should our money away. I don't know, I feel like I should do this. I should go on this trip, I should say yes to this. And there's a lot of expectations and maybe people pleasing and maybe just like FOMO and yolo and all of these things that run our finance. But if you were to take a step back and actually ask yourself what you're here for and what your purpose is, like, would you still spend the same way? I think that's a really powerful question.
Yes. That is so powerful. Spending in a way that feels like you should versus what you truly desire. I mean, imagine if everybody decided, okay, I'm going to really do something great in this life and I'm going to trust that it's going to be provided and I'm going to challenge myself to be resourceful with the situation I have. And we're all working towards that. How much harmony, excitement, fun, better off would our entire world be? Because I can tell you, giving people money is not the fix. Changing internally and really recognizing your value and knowing that you have the power to create and completely change your life is just so beautiful and really the true key to creating a wealthy life.
I love that so much. I think that's so huge. Okay, I want to get into daily weekly rituals like, what are we doing? What are you doing to stay aligned with your finances? Are you the type of girly that is in your cell spreadsheets on a daily basis? Are you opening up investment apps to look at things? Are you grounding? Are you meditating? What helps you tap into these things? And how are you actually, like, what are the things that you're focused on from a ritual perspective?
That is a great question. Again, it's probably not what you think. I feel like I'm like structured but unstructured. So a couple of things that I really do is like, number one, I just try to focus on how I can increase my value, how I can get better at delivering, supporting my current clients, increasing my skill set, increasing my mindset. And I try to do this consistently more than like a daily rich or weekly ritual. One Thing that I try to do on a consistent basis is just banking proof of my wealth increasing and already existing. So it's like, okay, yeah, Maybe I want 20k months or 50k months or 100k months, but where's the proof? Proof already around me that this is actually happening. But it hasn't manifested into the physical yet because. And then you know, obviously you know this medicine, but your brain always mirrors back to what's going on internally. So you start to see, actively focus on those, see those things and then you know, like things are shifting and it just gets. Goes more and more from there. So those are some things that I do. I would say mentally I work out a lot because that helps the body feel supported and be able to increase your capacity to hold more well. So I strength train three to four days a week. So that's another thing that I've created as a really strong ongoing habit and then some somatic practices as well. So I love doing a really good breath work because that's helpful in transmuting energy on the cellular level and helping that body point of view. So whenever you're thinking of something and wanting to do something, but you don't really feel it in your body doing something, some type of somatic work, like breath work for example, is able to really help with release. So I like to do that maybe once a month or so.
I love that. Okay. I also know that you were in this phase for a while. I wonder if you still are. But I know you weren't drinking for a while because I know that you said that that definitely impacts your ability to tap into intuition. Are you still on that train? Have you, has your thoughts changed at all or are we still on the no drinking train?
You're still on that train. I don't see that ever changing because with, with what I have learned, I won't go down the spiritual rabbit hole, but you can. And also for those listening, I grew up very hardcore Catholic, so I have a very different perspect. So from a very young age I learned about like dark energies and then obviously there's light energies. And with drinking and honestly, even eating poorly or being around a lot of negative people that can pour into your portal of connection and making sure that you're connecting and getting the guidance from the purest forms. I think it's with intuition, if you're drinking that one drink can affect your decision making for up to 30 days, the effect that it has on the body and then your body truly is a vessel. So that's Another thing, I'm also working. I thought I was healthy and I am healthy. But there are some things where I'm like, I feel like I could be a lot healthier. And now in America it feels like working out and eating healthy just aren't enough anymore. So that's kind of another thing I'm doing is just really trying to take my health to a next level. But yeah, as far as drinking goes, that is a no go for me personally because of those things.
I think that makes sense. The other thing is just this topic of, of the intertwinedness of physical health, mental health, spiritual health, financial health. Right. I think that that's what we're both all about. It is all interconnected. When you do start to take care of one of these areas, it does bleed over into the other ones. I think that there is just a lot of correlation between, you know, being proactive about managing your finances and taking that seriously and taking your physical health seriously. I think about the overlap between working out and wealth building all the time when I'm in the gym. Because if you are actually going to be someone that's going to strength train regularly or work out regularly and it gets, becomes who you are, you've got to somebody who really appreciates long term gratitude, like delayed gratification. You're someone that has to appreciate showing up daily and consistently. And I think that's what you have to do with your finances too. You can't just. As much as the Internet makes everybody want to feel right now like there's all these get rich quick schemes like true, genuine long term wealth building comes down to daily habits, it comes down to daily mindset, it comes down to how you approach your life and how you show up. And, and, and it's not just like, oh, I'm just gonna do this one trade and then I'm gonna be a millionaire. Right. Like that's just not how it works. And so I think when you can get into that mentality of becoming the healthiest version of yourself physically, mentally, spiritually and financially, then that's, that's when you see a lot of fun crossover and things start to flow a lot more because you're not just isolating where you're taking care of yourself. Like you're really pouring into everything. And I kind of think I don't know what your thoughts are once you start to pick one and pour into it. It's, it kind of is like, oh shit, shoot. Now I want to show it better in this area. Now I want to show it Better in this area. It kind of like forces you to upgrade a little bit.
Yes, absolutely. I also challenge you to think, would you rather have a bunch of money or would you rather also be in the position where you can actually enjoy it? You are healthy, you have longevity, you do things that you love. It doesn't have to be a matter of a trade off. You can have it all. And like we said, well, wealth isn't just the money. It's all different areas of your life and being in balance and feeling fulfilled.
I think one thing that you and I both probably like has shifted the perspective of wealth not being just money is both of us leaving the corporate world, being in the entrepreneurship space and just the obsession we have now with being in control of our own time, it's like addicting. Once you are like, I got no boss. I got nowhere to be. I'm in charge of my own time. I'm doing my own thing. You realize that that's. That's wealth. You realize that that is actually the objective of not having to do shit you don't want to do. Listen, not that we don't. Not that we want to do every little thing in our business, but we did choose this business. So it is a little bit more of something that we enjoy. But you know what I mean. It's not having to clock into stuff you hate, not having to stay in relationships you hate and jobs you hate. You get to be in control of your own time. That really is the true definition of wealth.
I think you've really nailed that in the head. And if you ever want some serious spiritual growth, start a business that's X. X.
The last 12 years, I'm like, or 12 months have been just like such a personal development upgrade. It's insane because you really don't know yourself until it's just you versus you every single day in an office. So I think that's so fair. Okay. I want to end with a quick little rapid fire fun Q and A. So I'm just going to ask you a couple questions and I want to hear what comes to mind for you first.
Okay, I'm ready.
You ready?
Okay.
Law you're currently obsessed with.
The first thing that came to mind, honestly, is the law focus. Paying myself first and being excited about it every time money comes in. I know it seems simple, but it's so powerful. Like, you don't need to do everything right to increase your wealth and success and everything, but even just the small one is so powerful. Sorry, this is. I know this is rapid Fire. But. All right, next question.
And on that. No, it's so true. When you have like a little gratitude practice the small wins. That is what rewires your brain to keep craving more and finding more opportunity. It's a snowball. If you are not celebrating your smallest money win win, don't expect your big money win. That's. That's what I have to say on that. Okay, next question. Favorite money mantra or affirmation that you love?
Ooh. Okay, you got me on this one because I am not a big affirmation person.
Money mantra that you like, love nothing that you're just like, love to spew.
Honestly.
No, I like yours is probably pay yourself first. Like, that's going to be yours.
Yeah, I know. I have some things that I look at if I think of it. We can post in the show notes. But I am not a big affirmation person because it's not part of like the whole picture in the creation process. But I used to do affirmations a lot and loved it.
Like, I think you still have money mantras, like things that you say that are principles that you live by. Right. Like you're always, you're. You've been on the pay yourself first train. I would count that as a money mantra. Pay yourself first.
We'll go with that one.
Me answering your rapid fire questions.
You are the best investment.
There you go. I love that. Unlimited roi. Unlimited roi. Okay, that's it. That's your answer next time someone asks you. Okay, next question. What's a splurge that you've made recently that made you feel abundant as fuck?
Okay. I haven't made it yet, but I decided that it's time for me to completely redo my wardrobe. So by the time this is out, probably will have done that. And clothes have been something for me that I love feeling good and looking good in. But for some reason I feel like it's not a good investment. And I recently just had this awakening. Like, what am I doing? What am I talking about? Yes, it is. Because it's like making you feel good and show up better and all that. So I am super excited to invest in a new wardrobe.
An investment in yourself. And I love this. If you've been seeing my stories, you know, I've been investing in fashion pass the last couple months. It has been so fun to show up to these events and just be like, I'm in all these new outfits. It feels so good. But the reason I started doing it was because I want to redevelop My style so that I can actually go hire somebody to do the same exact thing. I think investing in your wardrobe is a major investment in yourself. Major investment. When you can look good, feel good, play good. Like, let's go. So I can't wait. Can't wait for you to send me all your photos of your new outfit. Okay, I've got two. I got two left. What would you tell your younger self about money?
I would tell my younger self to definitely go after what feels really exciting and not worry about money. That's what I would say. Say, hands down, like a follow.
Follow your passion, follow that, Gut your intuition.
Yes. And I think try to look at money as something that I can create on my own. I. It doesn't have to be through a job.
Yeah. Back to what you said about just pouring into, like, value creation right now. That's really it. The more valuable you become, the more money you're gonna attract. So I think that's great. Okay, this last question you might have already answered, but I'm gonna ask again in a new way. What is one law or one spiritual principle that you think every woman could benefit from? Or when she masters it, it'll help her glow up. Like, what's one thing that you think is a. A big impact?
Really, the biggest thing goes back to the paying yourself first and building that money bucket, having a separate savings that you don't. Actually, the whole purpose of it is to be an energy amplifier of your wealth out there and knowing that you're the keeper of. Of this. Of these funds. This is for you, and that is adding to your. Your whole value as well. And that's been. Been such a powerful thing. One of the. One of the things that I've done from the start for the last six to eight months to the t. And I really contribute that to. To a lot of the recent success I've had.
I'm obsessed. I love that so much. Okay, two questions I ask every guest. What's a book we all need to read?
Ooh. Okay. One of my favorites is Dollars Flow Easily to Me by Richard Dotts. The reason I like this book is because when I was in very, like, negative scarcity state, it allowed me to, just for a moment, free up all the tension I was feeling around money and really helped me just get to a place where I could breathe and get rid of the anxiety. I have probably, I don't know, 500 books. It's one of the only ones that I've read, and I've read it three to four Times. So I, I really love that book.
Yay. Okay, adding to my reading list now and then. Nicole, please tell us what is one thing you are busy getting better at right now? Yes.
Yes. Okay. Showing up more authentically and really being comfortable putting myself out there, not really caring as much as what other people think and which is, I think, a hard thing to do. You, you think you're doing in some areas. And then there are some situations where I feel like, okay, I'm actually kind of like showing up a little bit quieter than I really can be. And so that's been a really fun thing I'm working on and just, it's also allowing me to enjoy life more too. So that's, that's the thing. Thing.
I love that for you so much. I think you have such a great mission heart. You're so smart, you know so much about investing, so much about the energetics. Like, I'm excited for you to pour into this and just to be louder, I know you've got some fun projects going on behind the scenes and I think they're all going to be just so beneficial for everybody that gets to be a part of it. So with that, please tell everybody how can they work with you? What are the different groups you've got going on right now? How can they find you if they are just obsessed with you? Like how.
Yes. Thank you. So I'm on, on Instagram as hiinvestor. Also my website is sheinvestor.com I think the best place to go would be to join my email, actually my email newsletter because I put all the information out there. I do some webinars. I am about to start a podcast. I wasn't going to show that, but that just came out. And then I'm working on some really exciting new programs combining the energetics with the tangible actions. So all of that will really be through there. And then I'm also currently running a six month mastermind. It's close, but we dive a lot deeper into spirituality, money and wealth building strategies. And then we're, we do intuitive reads in there too to give you the best direction and guidance. Any blocks that are getting out of your way so you know exactly what the thing is and can move faster to your goal. So we have a wait list for that as well.
And I've seen some of the wins that you've shared within that group and they've been really, really good. So whenever they open, you open that back up. I know you've got to partner with that. Make sure you guys run over there and check it out and see if it's something that's going to be a fit. Nicole, thank you. I feel like we probably have a million other topics that we can bring back to the podcast for future episodes, but I'm so glad we finally got this one done. I love you. I adore you. I'm so grateful that I slid in your dms. Does that even make sense? I'm grateful I slid in your DMs, and thank you for being here. I'm busy getting better.
Thank you so much for having me. It's always a pleasure to see you, Madison.
