Fear of failure stops you from trying, which is already failure. Start with tiny commitments you can keep, like reading one page each morning. Breaking promises erodes self-trust, but keeping them rebuilds it and makes actual setbacks feel like learning instead.

Make commitments and keep commitments. That was probably the biggest golden nugget I got from the Prime Mover Mastermind last week. You may have heard of the fear of failure, when you're too afraid of not succeeding at something that you end up not trying at all. If you ask me, that's a true failure. Every time you do that, you're only making your fear worse. So how do you get rid of that fear? By not just making commitments, but keeping them. You're the only one that knows all the lies you've told, and so when you break a commitment, you lie to yourself and you start to lose trust. So you need to start keeping them, even if it's a small commitment like reading a book for 5 minutes or a single page in the morning every day. When you keep that commitment, you start to regain that trust and destroy that fear of failure. The truth about the fear of failure is that it isn't real. If you do fail, learn from it and remember that wisdom on your next attempt. You can only truly fail if you quit.
