So there's something that I really struggle with to this day, and I'd like to share that with you guys because I want to share with you not only my wins and everything I've done, but also my losses and my failures and my struggles. I want this to be an honest channel where I can share my wins and my losses. And because I think honesty and transparency is very important, right? I think there's a lack of that in the marketplace today where there's so many people just sharing their wins and not many people sharing their losses. And I find it interesting that Warren Buffett, one of the most wisest men in the world, whenever he would start his letter to his investors at Berkshire Hathaway, it's a yearly thing that they do, right, to explain, you know, how they've been working, what they've been working on, what have been their results. Um, Warren Buffett would always start with something he did wrong. He would always start being vulnerable. So that's an interesting thing. I learned from Warren Buffett. So I want to shoot this video to talk about something that I really struggle with, and that is called being present. I really struggle being present in the moment wherever I am. So when I'm at the beach with my family, I'm thinking office, office, office. When I'm in the office, I'm thinking beach, beach, beach. And so, you know, my family gets frustrated because I'm not being able to be present with them and enjoy the time with them because I'm thinking office, office, office. And then at the office, my work suffers and I can't be as productive as I'd like because I'm thinking beach, beach, beach. So I learned from my mentor Jim Rohn back in 2017 a very important principle. He said, wherever you are, be there. When you're at the beach, be at the beach. When you're at the office, be at the office. When you work, work. When you play, play. Don't mix the two. So that's a very important thing that I learned from my mentor Jim Rohn back in 2017, and I work on it to this day, but I still haven't quite cracked the code. Something that helps me a lot to feel more present in the moment is just to meditate. But then sometimes, you know, I'm outside with my family and whatever, and then just, you know, my mind's going a million miles a minute. I'm thinking about work, I'm thinking about stuff that I need to do, and And it doesn't cross my mind to meditate. I'm trying to be more self-conscious now of the times that that happens so I can catch myself and actually wind down and calm down. Take a deep breath and wind down and clear my mind. Something that helps me a lot is to jot down my thoughts. That helps me a lot. You know, journaling is something that I do since 2017, since I met my teacher Jim Rohn, and I've never stopped that habit since. It helps me a lot to clear my mind, especially because, you know, I have ADHD, a clinically diagnosed, not just, you know, TikTok diagnosis. But I see that as a superpower. I don't see that as a negative, to be honest. I think you should always see your shortcomings as superpowers because, you know, at any time in life, whatever is positive is available and whatever is negative is also available. So you just choose what you can focus on. You know, I can focus on that my ADHD is, you know, killing the time with my family. I can't be present because of my ADHD, and then my family is suffering, my work is suffering, you No, I see it as a superpower because I can hyperfocus on things. My mind can create different layers of thoughts and then I can come up with creative solutions to complex problems. And so I really, really, it's not like, oh, I tell myself this. No, I genuinely think it's a superpower. And a lot of hyper-successful people have ADHD, like Elon Musk, You know, Bill Gates probably has ADHD, Mark Zuckerberg, and so Michael Phelps, you know. But anyways, I ramble a lot, right? So anyways, I just wanted to share this quick video to share some knowledge and some wisdom with you that I learned from my teacher Jim Rohn. Wherever you are, be there. When at the beach, be at the beach. When at the office, be at the office. When you work, work. When you play, play. Don't mix the two. So that's something that I'm working on now, and I just wanted to share this with you guys, and I hope this video brings some value and helps some people that maybe struggle with this as well.
