Jim Rohn's idea that sharing knowledge empties your mental cup, making room for new ideas. The speaker uses a water metaphor to explain why teaching others what you've learned is how you grow.

You know, I learned from my teacher Jim Rohn that we must share, right? For example, if you have a cup and it's full of water, can you possibly pour more water in? And the answer is, of course. And how do you pour more water in? You have to pour what's already in out. Then once you pour out, you can pour more water in. And so when you share your knowledge and wisdom, when you share what you've learned, when you share how you've grown, when you share your skills, your knowledge, your wisdom, how you became wiser and stronger and better, how you achieved your goals, ideas and inspiration, when you share, share, share, communicate with people, you are dumping your cup and you can fill it up with more water.
