Without clear goals, you drift into someone else's plans. Jim Rohn said it: if you don't design your own life, you'll end up building someone else's empire. A boat without a destination goes anywhere.

If you're on a boat and you don't have a goal to where you want to go with your boat, you'll end up anywhere. And so it's very important to set goals in order for you to go where you want in your life. If you don't know where you want to go, any destination is valid. It's like Jim Rohn says, if you don't have plans for yourself, you'll probably fall into somebody else's plan. And guess what somebody else might have planned for you? Not much.
