Marcel Fernandes argues that Satan targets humans with discouraging thoughts because we're made in God's image, which enrages him. He says the voice telling you that you can't change your life is a lie designed to keep you trapped. Recognizing this divine status is the first step to breaking free.

Chapters

You are everything that Lucifer wanted. You are everything that Lucifer wanted but couldn't have. That's why Lucifer hates you, and that's why Lucifer puts all these bad thoughts in your mind. Satan puts a thought in your mind saying, "Nah, you can't, you can't, you can't change your life. Don't even try. You ever seen anybody in your generation change your life? And in 5, 10 generations behind you? You can't change your life." Do you know what God did? God created man. In his image and likeness. Nothing is made in the image and likeness of God but us human beings, and that's what Lucifer is pissed off at about.
