How Can We Detox from Heavy Metals? | Wendy Myers, FDNP

Today. I'm delighted to have a guest on with me today. This is my first podcast in a series of what I hope brings you lots of information about your health and wellbeing. So let me tell you a bit about Wendy. Wendy is an fdnp, is founder of the Myers Detox, which we'll talk a little bit more about and also harmonypendant.com, which we'll also talk a little bit about today. She's heavy metal detox expert and functional diagnostic nutritionist. She's the number one best selling author of Limitless Energy which we all how to Detox Toxic Metals to End Exhaustion and Chronic Fatigue. Wendy hosted Meyer's detox podcast about all things related to detox. She's passionate about educating people on the importance of EMF and heavy metal detox to live a long disease free life. Welcome Wendy.

Thanks so much for having me.

So Wendy, I have to ask this question. How in the world did you get interested in EMFs? And you know, also let's talk a little bit about what they are. But how did you get started in the journey?

Yes, well, you know, I talk a lot about heavy metal and chemical detoxification. And I were, I worked with thousands of clients and I just felt like there were so many people that there was something really bothering them that preventing them from being able to sleep for being able to detox that SAP their energy and their, you know, mental clarity and clarity of thinking. And I also was concerned about EMF for my own health concerns, my own personal health concerns. And part of the, you know, kind of my concern was that I lived in Los Angeles at the time and I had 400 cell phone towers and cell phone emitters within a five mile radius. I mean, that is just astronomical. And I had an electric pole outside of my, kind of in my backyard that had all the electricity going to every single house in the neighborhood. And I was just in this house and I was just, I felt terrible. I slept terrible. I woke up in the morning, I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. And here I am turning this health coach and trying to help people and I just, I couldn't help myself. I felt terrible. And I met this person named Robert that had developed the Harmony pendant, this harmony pendant here. And I put this on and I felt such a huge difference. I felt better than I had felt in years. And I was just really taken aback because I've done a lot of different health protocols and supplements and things like that. And I was really surprised by my reaction to it and I was, you know, it took me a couple years, I was still wearing it, but it took me a couple years to kind of like figure it out and how it worked. And I was still skeptical and whatnot. But I just, I learned more and more about EMF or electromagnetic fields over the years and you know, and just really wanted to educate people about this and ways that they can mitigate EMF in their environment and, and how EMF dramatically impacts their health. Much more so than people realize. And I also want to educate people about the fact that, you know, EMFs are growing at a very rapid pace in our environment and people, they really need to be paying attention to this and addressing it.

So Wendy, I mean that really brings us to the next question because they're everywhere. You know, I was smart enough at the time that I didn't have one of the smart meters put on my house. But you know, I have charged extra for the additional fee because it's not on my house. How do people begin to take a stand with this? Now the problem is you can't see it, you can't smell it, you can't taste it, you don't even know if it's something that's affecting you. How do you begin to kind of mitigate that? And you know, what is it doing to our health?

Yeah, so some of the symptoms of EMF that you're, you know, people have varying degrees of sensitivity. Some people don't feel it at all, but it is impacting them. And part of the reason is because we have this energy field in our body and we're also very electrical beings. And EMFs are these high frequencies that are non native to our bodies and they interfere in our body's natural frequencies. Like our heartbeat is a natural frequency. Our heart puts out a frequency 10ft around us. It interferes in our brain waves and our brain waves for sleep, our brain waves when we feel relaxed, it just interferes in that communication system. It's like how sonar interfields and interferes whales communication system as well and you know, disorientates them and they get beached on the whale. You know, they get beached on beaches and so.

They have these non native frequencies that were constantly bathed in them and they, they promote insomnia. We feel anxious, depressed, depressed people have poor energy. They have infertility. There's a lot of research that shows infertility is a result of EMF immunity. Poor immunity. People can have high blood sugar, they can have headaches as well. I mean they can get tumors. I Mean, there's so many very, very serious health effects to mf. This is all in the research. There's lots of resources out there. Lloyd Burrell, Dr. Mercola, Anne Louise Gittleman, Nick Pinault, all have fantastic books full of the research that shows the poor effects that EMF has on our health.

And if somebody is kind of questioning whether it's really a toxic metal issue versus emfs, in my world, I see them kind of both in the same way that oftentimes you have to do both to really get people better. But how do you kind of distinguish.

The differences.

Between heavy metals and emf? Well, I mean, when people have more heavy metals, that can be more of an attraction. The EMFs can be more attracted to them. But, you know, some of the symptoms and health issues can be very, very similar. And people have heavy metals, they have fatigue and headaches, and they have immunity issues. I mean, it's really hard to distinguish. I mean, we know everyone is bathed in emf. We know everyone has heavy metals and toxins in them impacting their health in various ways. So, yes, they need to be thinking about both.

And what about some of the other devices that are out there? You know, what are some of the problems with them? And how do you, you know, there's so much information out there now for people. How do you distinguish between something that really works and is effective and something that isn't?

Well, I mean, there's lots of very reliable sources out there. I mean, Nick Pinault has a course on different devices that he recommends. Lloyd Burrell has a lot of different devices he. He recommends including the Harmony pendant, which is what was my business and my company as well. But there's lots of amazing devices out there. There's lots of garbage out there as well that doesn't work. But there's plenty of information out there. But some of the things that I like, if you just want. My recommendation is so if you want something for your whole house, I really like the key technologies are like the Blue Shield whole house protector that's fantast. Will help protect your entire home and create, you know, create like this cocoon in your home. And just another note, there's nothing out there that's 100% protection. You want to be thinking about a number of different strategies to protect your body and your home. So I have a blue shield device that I use to protect my whole home. Also, you know, turning off your wireless router at night is really smart as well, but that it's not enough because even if you turn your router off at night. And so you're not bathing yourself in these frequencies and you're not even using them. Your neighbor has a router and some people live next to, they have hundreds of routers, especially if they live in an apartment building or a high rise building. You look in your network and I mean, there's just dozens and dozens of them. So turning off your router at night is good advice, but these days it's not enough. Then you have the cell phone towers, you have the smart meter that's sending out a signal even 25 meters. You need something that's going to mitigate and deflect those things and the whole house. EMF mitigator is a great idea, but then when you leave your home, you want something on your body, on your person that's going to protect you no matter where you go, if you go to your office or go out shopping or what have you. I like the Harmony pendant. And so this is a device that isn't, it's not an EMF blocker, but we did a study on it and with about 100 people, eight different doctors, and showed that it reduces the negative effects of EMF on average by 48%. So, and that's, you know, that's, it's not, like I said, it's not 100%, but I'll take every little bit that I can get. And so, and I do have peace of mind when I leave my home. And no matter where I go, I have some EMF protection. And so but how the pendant works is it's, you know, it's essentially, like I said, it's not blocking the emf. What it's doing is it's optimizing your body's energy field. So it helps to clear your energy field. It helps to kind of optimize it, so it works better, so you have better protection against the stressful effects of emf. And so the study that we did, we did like a baseline test, an HRV or heart rate variability test, which is a measure of stress. It's used in lots and lots of different studies out there. We got a baseline for people, and then we expose them to a high EMF source, and then we saw all of their numbers tank. We tested about 30 different variables. We tested their biorhythms, like their circadian rhythms or mitochondrial energy production. We tested their.

There'S like 30 different variables, like their chakras, their meridians, things like that. And all their numbers like tanked really badly after exposure to this emf. Source. Then we put the Harmony pendant on them. They were only wearing it for five minutes. And we saw a dramatic improvement on most of the variables, some even over and above the baseline. What we found was There was a 700% improvement on average in people's heart rate variability, even in the presence of an EMF stressor. And so that's really, really huge. And we were actually very surprised by how much improvement people had. That's the average. And so I'll take that. And I think also today people are very, very, very stressed. So the Harmony Pendant's more of like a stress reduction device, but it does help mitigate EMF stressors. And I think people that are very, very stressed, there's this huge collective fear going on right now and uncertainty and people need stress reduction. And I found personally that it's not enough to just go do yoga or practice some gratitude in the morning. I think for me, I just find I've worked with a lot of people and it's difficult for them to reduce the stress in their lives. Even though they need to do that, they have awareness of that. And the Harmony pendant is something that's very easy to do. It's very effective. You just put it on, you activate it and we see this really, really amazing effects. I think they may be very surprised.

And let's talk a little bit about that. Let me try and get through the questions then. I have a question for you about the OURA ring. How is Tesla involved in blanketing the earth in 5G satellites? Why is this happening and when.

Yes, so this has already begun happening. So In August of 2020, Tesla has put about 40 different relay stations in the United States and they're launching. I know in August alone they launched 180 satellites. And so I don't know how much Tesla itself or it's not Tesla, it's Starlink, that's another one of Elon Musk's companies. But he is himself launching dozens or even hundreds per month. And that is going to continue. There's other players in this.

Competition for the Skies as well. Bill Gates with Softbank and there's Jeff Bezos as well. They are going to be Putting it's estimated 100,000 satellites, EMF emitting satellites in the skies over the next two to three years. And so that has already begun. And if people, I kind of think people aren't, may not be associating anxiety or sleepless, this or other symptoms they had that begun in August because that's when all this testing began for Starlink In August, this 40 different relay stations. And so I think people kind of want to attribute stress they feel to outside sources or to the pandemic or whatever it is. But I think once you put on a pendant like the Harmony pendant or you start using EMF mitigation devices, you realize how stressed that you have felt. I think people don't realize how much they're affected by emf.

So I mean, I think that's really important. Point is, and I think a lot of people are not aware that there's a relationship between EMFs and our health. A lot of times when you go see a practitioner they will say to you no, there's no relationship. I mean seriously, does electricity hurt you? And they're kind of equating in the same way. And so I really appreciate what you're saying. I agree with you. I think what happens for many people is it tips the scale. They already have things who are off. We already had stress in our adrenals, we already had hormonal imbalance and then when bombarded and the situation has really escalated a great deal. So I couldn't agree with you more. So we have a couple of questions that are a little bit more comprehensive. So let's see if I can read one. I'm a nurse by education, retired due to Covid. How does EMF hurt you? How does this pennant protect you? We've talked a little bit about that and how do I need to do, to protect myself on, on a daily basis?

I have Wi Fi, two iPads, three laptops plus multiple phones. When I broach the subject with fellow health practitioners, they simply tell me not to be moved by this kind of hypocrisy or information that's not correct. I don't know how to protect myself and also how to talk to my 13 year old teenager. And I think that's a great question because I think people that are just beginning, you know, I've been in, in this world for a long. In 1985 we opened a women's health clinic that was doing alternative medicine and I've been there. I know what it's like to have everybody kind of joke about you. So how do we really help people understand that it is a real issue and give them conversation pieces to talk to, number one, their kids as well as other practitioners they may be involved with?

Yeah. Well, I'll give you some really simple steps to protect yourself. So number one, the farther away an item an electronic is from you, the less harmful it is. So the how close it is, you know, can, if you just keep it farther away, it mitigates it. So with my cell phone, I love my cell phone, you know, technology is not going anywhere. We have to use this reality, but it's not in use. Just put it at those arm lengths away from you. So just put your device away from you. You can also put it on airplane mode. So it's very, very simple to do this. You just pull down the right screen, put it on airplane mode like that. And that's going to dramatic. It's going to not completely eliminate, but dramatically reduce the amount of EMFs coming out of the phone. And also don't charge it by your head at night. It's better to discharge at least three feet away from you or in another room. You don't need it next to you. So that's really, really important to do. You can also wear a harmony pendant. You can also get some stickers. So there's a lot of really good EMFs, you know, mitigation stickers out there. I like Aries tech. Those are fantastic as well. You can put those in all of your devices. You can put them on your computers as well. I also like defender shield. So I have this kind of like this laptop thing that it absorbs EMF that you can put it on your. Underneath your laptop is there sitting in front of your laptop. I mean, you're just absorbing a ton of EMF every day. And so and I always, I make sure that I turn off all electronic devices in my bedroom. Better yet, don't have any electronic devices. But I have a TV in my room. So I make sure I unplug it so that Bluetooth signal to the remote isn't just sending out this stream of EMF all night long while I'm sleeping. And you want to. There's some lamps in the room. I unplug those. I just unplug everything. I don't have an alarm clock near my bed. And so there's just lots of little things like that that you can do. You also want to make sure where you're Sleeping, you don't have a smart meter in the same wall where the head of your bed is. That is a recipe for disaster. Also, if you live in an apartment building, you need to locate where all the electric smart meters are for every apart. I've had people tell me they're in an apartment and the smart meters are along the wall of their apartment for the entire complex. You need to move. And so there's lots of things like that. You can get EMF meters also there's like a tri field meter and things like that that can be really helpful to detect sources of emf. Sometimes people have cell phone towers or other types of towers that are emitting a strong EMF signal in their child's bedroom or in their where they're sitting at their office all day long. It's good to check those things. But one thing to be aware of is that these 5G satellites are emitting like a 60 GHz signal that is not going to be detected on your average trifield meter. Just so you're aware that the only thing that's going to detect that is these $20,000 meters that building biologists have. So it's not going to detect everything, but it's a start. They're inexpensive and you can start being a little detective in your home and figure out where the sources of EMF are, because you can wear all these different protection devices. And that's great. But I still urge people, you still need to mitigate sources of EMF in your environment and eliminate them. Some people go to certain leaks, like they'll put graphite paint in their bedroom where they're sleeping. They'll create like this cocoon where they'll put graphite paint on the walls that totally blocks the emf. There's things you can put on your windows as well. There's a lot of links that you can go to to protect, especially where you're sleeping. You want to protect that area.

So what about car phones? What about using car phones?

Yeah.

Oh, you mean like cell phones?

Cell phones, absolutely.

Yeah. So, yeah. So, you know, you don't want it near your ear. Obviously, you know, that is a huge no, no, it's completely avoidable. You want to use headphones like this. I'm not as worried about the little earbuds. I was surprised to learn that those really aren't as harmful as I would assumed that they would be. But so you want to use headphones. There are also headphones out there by defender shield that are EMF blocked. They're EMF protected. So those would be ideal. But yeah, you definitely do not want that cell phone near your head because what's happening is it's heating up all of those tissues. And over time they found that the area where people are using their cell phone that were have for years, they can start to get tumors in those areas and they start having, you know, blood sugar uptake issues at the cells have a, you know, they have, they have a hard time with, you know, cellular metabolism and you know, glucose metabolism in those cells because that tissue is being heated up too much. So that's a very, very simple thing to mitigate. Put it on speakerphone, you know. And some people are super, super sensitive. They can't, they can't be in big cities. They can, there are people, some people are very, very debilitated from EMFs and some people can't work and they have no idea what's wrong with them. They think they have chronic fatigue syndrome. They're going to the doctors. If you have some sort of mystery illness going on, look into EMF mitigation.

Absolutely. So somebody had an interesting question and that is that regarding the Harmony, how do you feel about the fact that wearing such a device sends our brains a constant message that there is something dangerous out there?

Do the benefits outweigh the negatives?

Yeah, I don't believe that at all. There's nothing negative in the pendant that's sending your brain some sort of message. If anything, it's optimizing your body's energy field and it's helping your energy field to regulate more efficiently so your body works more efficiently. You stopped. It's kind of like energy drain. Your energy field isn't regulating properly when you have these constant stressors that are affecting us. So there's no negative information that's being sent to you in any way, shape or form. If anything, it's an extremely positive message. It's very calming to the body and so there's nothing to worry about in that regard.

I've got a little bit more of a longer question, so let's address that as well. When we create, when we talk about energy, what we create inside our own energy and the message we send ourselves is probably the most important energy out then plague and language like that certainly sends a specific message. I'm interested in using products that may help mitigate the effects of EMS EMFs which we talked about. But I see a lot of information on how these diverses work or studies showing that they do not. How exactly does a harmony work? We already talked about that, are there any studies showing and where are those studies? I think she's really asking about where can she find the information. I know that Lloyd has a ton of information on his website as well. I'm assuming that you do as well on your website too.

Yeah, yeah. On HarmonyPundant.com we have two white papers that were based on one study. We're also adding some controls to the study right now as we speak. So I'll have about 30 controls, people that were wearing a dummy pendant. So that people are, you know, some people are like, oh, it's a placebo effect. But you know, everything to a certain degree works by placebo. And I'll take it. But we don't believe it works by placebo. We had 100 different patients. We had eight different doctors, including Dr. Nathan Bryan, who's a world renowned expert on nitric oxide. We had Dr. Lisa Koch, we had Dr. Michael Rakin Jr. Dr. Lisa for 10, who's a Harvard trained doctor. So we had some pretty respected doctors on this study and they did about 15 patients each. And the results speak for themselves. So we did one white paper on HRV and the stress mitigating and EMF mitigating effects of the Harmony pendant. We did a second white paper on chakras and meridians. Some of the meridians were improved and functioning by 2000% on average. Pretty impressive. We're finding the pendant optimizes the chakra, optimizes the meridians, which are highways of energy flow and areas where people can have energetic blockages that, you know, and that those are, you know, allowed to remain there long enough can end up causing physical health issues. Because your energy field dictates physical functioning. That's where the body, the physical body takes its instructions. And so it's much easier to work in this energy field and to clear the energy field with various modalities and whatnot. I talk a lot about bioenergetics, but the pendant is kind of the first thing I will do with people. I recommend. It's just very easy to do. And because it reduces stress and because it clears the energy field, it helps to potentiate other things that people are doing because they're less stressed people, they absorb their diet better, they're able to metabolize their food better, supplements better. If they're doing detox, that it works better, they're able to sleep better. So any other kind of therapy or health thing that someone is doing, it helps to fix, potentiate that and make it more effective.

And somebody asked a great Question, what is the pendant made of that gives it these properties? And I think it's a wonderful question.

Yeah. So it's not the metal that it's made of. We have it in stainless steel and 18 karat gold and rose gold plated as well, but it's not the metal. So it works in a couple different ways. So number one, there's some sacred geometry on the pendant that, you know, the entire world, everything on the planet takes instructions from geometry. The shape, the look, the feel, everything takes instructions from geometry. That's the basis of life. The next thing is the holes here.

What you do is to activate the pendant, you hold it about a foot from your heart, about a foot from your chest and you hold it there for a couple of minutes. That helps to activate the pendant to your energy field. So that geometry independent is sending information to your body, so new information to correct its functioning and to clear the energy field, so to speak, and just help it work more efficiently. And it also works by quantum entanglement. So there are certain things that we have infused into this that help to, like I said, clear the energy field, reduce stress, optimize the chakra functioning.

Optimize meridian functioning, EMF mitigation and things like that. And so it works, like I said, in a couple different ways.

Great question. The bigger piece that I want to share with people is that for a long time, I think years ago when we talked about energy with regards to electricity, we didn't believe it was possible. Sometimes I will sit down and look at the lights going on and off. And when we lose our power, obviously that's something else you think about. That's something that we can't see, we can't taste, we can't smell. And it can be a problem. Is it a problem for everybody? No, probably not. But on some subtle level it probably is. The same is true for EMFs. And the problem is, if you really think about it, how does your computer, as you're typing in.

What are the effects of EMFs? You come up with this information very, very quickly. There's a huge amount of information that goes instantaneously and that doesn't just happen. It comes through almost like a radio wave, but it isn't a radio wave. So I think we think that, well, it's not going to cause any problems because it's kind of, you can't see it, you can't taste it, you can't feel it. And we thought that years ago about mercury. We put mercury in people's mouths and we realize now we're in big trouble because it wasn't probably the best thing to do. So I would urge those of you that are listening to kind of keep an open mind as to the possibilities that EMFs can actually be problematic for people. And it's very easy to unplug your things at night before you go to bed. It's very easy to wear a pendant because right now we really need help on many levels from the food that we're eating to the thoughts that we think to the environment that we're all stressed out about. So I really appreciate your information because I think it's really going to be important for people to listen to it. Any other comments that you want to make kind of as a last piece to this puzzle?

Yeah. And I do encourage people to be open minded about the pendant or bioenergetics or some of the stuff I talked about about the energy field because there's a lot of research, very exciting, cutting edge research going on in this field. You can do go on pubmed.com type in bioenergetics, type in quantum physics. And there's a book by David Wilcock called Source Field Investigations that have the scientific proof of our energy field of just really amazing, fascinating things that are happening in the world of quantum entanglement and bioenergetics and how our body really works, how it communicates. The main way that it communicates is in this energy field. Our brain and our heart sends messages and operating instructions to our various organs and things like that. And that's how our body works primarily. I mean it works physically with hormones and neurotransmitters and things like that. But it's what I found over the years working with people is I got frustrated hitting all these roadblocks working just physically in the body. And I'm very much more so I find it's very much more effective working in this energetic field because the physical body takes directions from the energy field. So it's much easier to work in this realm. And so that's what I kind of focus my studies and research on these days and the messaging that I urge people. It's really the future of medicine, it's the future of health. And so I implore people to have more of an open mind than a curiosity about that before dismissing it.

I think that's really important. And also you're mentioning quantum physics and it's been around for a very long time. And there's a company called HeartMath, I'm sure you're familiar with it and they have Something called the M Rate machine. The interesting thing is that if two people are sleeping together, the hearts start to have the same synchrony. That's because of the energetic interaction between two beings. That was just a small example. When they look at heart math and they look at the heart rate variability, it's very much aligned with each other. That's just a tiny example of how important it is to understand that we do have an energy field around us and it's very impacted by many different things. Yeah.

And another note on people's feeling EMFs or feeling negative impact from EMF. You know, it's really, really interesting because some people are so sensitive, they're completely debilitated by it. They can't even use a cell phone. And there's other people that don't feel any effects at all. But there's some people that are very. They're just not in touch with their physical body. They don't feel things as much as the next person. Or maybe they're just. They have certain, certain countenance where they're just not as impacted by it, but I think much more so. People don't connect their symptoms like a headache or fatigue or brain fog, an increase of brain fog over the years. They don't connect those symptoms potentially with the EMF that they're exposed to in their environment or their anxiety or their depression. They just think, oh, that's from my childhood. Or, you know, so there's. There's lots of physical symptoms people have. They're not. That may not be connecting to this potential outside, this very simple thing that they can mitigate in their environment. So I urge people, especially if they have a symptom they just can't seem to get rid of, no matter what supplement they do or food they avoid or medication they take or what have you, you know, the doc. People's medical doctors usually are not going to be even conceiving or have any awareness around the potential cause of emf.

Yeah, yeah. And so that's just a lot of very simple tips that I talked about in the Facebook Live today. Super simple tips, things that you can start doing today to act on this information. Because I know for me as a health professional, you know, there are so many things that you want to do for your health. And I think for me, I was like, oh, I'm doing my diet and doing my detox and my saunas and my supplements. There's a lot of boxes to check. And so I put. I just put EMF on the back burner. And I just. I was like, oh, my God. That's just another thing that I have to learn about. So I've just put some very, very simple tips that you can start acting on today to mitigate EMF in your environment to learn about it a little bit more, because you do want to take the time to learn about this. It's very important that EMFs are growing in our environment, and there's a lot of simple things that you can do. So they're all in the guide that you can download for free.
