And.
I felt that way before.
Even recently. And I was thinking about, what should I say? Because I always want to provide value and give you something that at least makes you go, wow, maybe I didn't see that perspective or something. And sometimes I'm very excited to do these, and other times, to be honest, I'm just wearing the outfit, literally. And.
I was like, what do I say? But I was thinking about it, and I. I was kind of beating myself up because I didn't do an Easter message this year. And I don't think I have for a couple years since dad passed. He passed on Good Friday. So it's not like, oh, yeah, it's Easter. It's like.
Yay. But.
Gay.
However. So it. It's been a somber couple weeks. A lot of good stuff going on. But I thought about it, and I. I saw a lot of people talking about.
Hello. Yeah, that's better. I have to fix that. I saw a lot of people talking about.
You know, what Easter meant to them and, you know, how they found Jesus and how they got saved and everything, and everyone shared it on Easter, and that's fantastic. It inspired me. I just.
I know that the camera sees everything, and sometimes.
You just shouldn't go on.
I would say the same thing with writing. There's certain things that, like, you kind of have to be in the groove to do it. You can do it whenever you want.
But if you're just not feeling it, like, speaking from stage, it's gonna show through. I think you can fake. I don't really think you can fake a phone call or a conversation. Maybe you can in a meeting because they're shorter. But when it's like, you're pouring your heart out, like, for real, if you're not just doing some surface level, like, same crap over and over, you kind of have to be in a place mentally. And I was kind of upset with myself because I wasn't. But the reality was I was very excited because Easter was good. Got to see a lot of family from out of town. And it was a really good one because a couple years ago, I was irritated because.
Everyone was waving through glass, and I didn't like that.
And.
But church the last couple weeks had me thinking, and I'm like.
I'm doing what I tell My clients not to do. And then magically, I think it was the next day.
One of my clients was like, oh, I love the Easter video you did. I was like, the Easter video? He saw it on YouTube.
So before we even start talking about his new book, he's like, yeah, the one you just put out. I was like, tell me about it. And it was actually one I did probably four, five, six years ago, and YouTube reserved it up. And it got me thinking, and I was like, okay. I tell my clients all the time, don't make it about you. It's about the message and who you're serving. And I'm taking my own advice on that because.
I.
Probably should be sharing this more. But with everyone sharing on Easter, I was just like, I'm enjoying the day, but I'm not going to jump camera.
But April 29, 2027, I was going to say 2015. It was 2,700 15 years ago. I was at a church service, and that's when I found Jesus and gave my life to. And I was like, ever. It's like a clear distinction from that point. So that's what Easter is about. And that's what, you know, it's about. I can clearly mark, like, before and after how my life has changed. And.
You know, the first time I mentioned it, I think it was on a December broadcast, Christmas broadcast, a New Year's or something. And it was just really.
Really on my heart. And I shared it and it was good. And a lot of people told me a lot of good stuff, and I was like, I need to do that more.
But sometimes I don't always feel like.
Probably how you perceive me. If you've been listening or watching the show for a while, I would say there's parts in there, depending on the episode.
I share certain things, probably more than. Probably as much. If I was talking to you one on one. Because every episode I do.
I don't pretend I am talking to you one on one. So I share the same as if it was in person.
And.
I may or may not, depending on the context, if I'm speaking at an event or if it's business or.
If we bring it up, I'm. I do talk about it, but it's just. How do I say it without making it sound like I'm trying to hide it? Because I'm clearly not. You know what I mean? When you're ordering food at a restaurant or you're just hanging out with people and you're having a fun day, it's like you're not like, oh, so generally, you know, you don't generally start a conversation with, oh, hi, how have you been? Oh, did you know so and so just died? Like, that's a little weird. That's a little weird. And unless you work our own mortuary or some funeral home or something, there's certain things. You get what I'm saying, You're smart enough. But there's been certain things on my heart that I just wanted to share and this was one of them. That if, especially the last two years, you might feel like you're alone, but you don't need to be.
Okay. And I don't know what's going on in your life right now, in the future, today, or whatever, but I have felt very different.
As far back as three, four years ago. Wait, when did I start the show? 2019.
The more. Here's a better way to explain it ever since.
The more time that passes, the more I feel like.
I'm just less connected to all the BS in the world.
Was that cohesive? Yeah, I think it was.
And sometimes.
I kind of wish it was high school or college when it was just like, oh, wow, there's a movie, there's this. I'm happy, you know, ignorance is bliss.
But within probably a few minutes I'm like, I'm so glad that's not the case. And I'm not on this hamster wheel treadmill just doing the same crap everymore anymore.
But it still hurts very much seeing the people who are.
And I can't do anything about it. Well, I can, I can share this message with you.
I can't control the situation, their life or anything. And I don't know how arrogant I think I gotta be when even God can't control it because we have free will.
So that's some perspective too, if there's situations.
You'Re trying to fix and you can't. What's that parable? God grant me the serenity to change the things I have, change the things I can, and the discernment to know the things I can't, or the wisdom in the wisdom to know the difference. It's like, you got to do you.
And.
You're not alone.
And I may be setting some real unrealistic expectations for myself, but ever since high school, I've always that wanted everyone happy. And I remember distinctly cutting a lawn and thinking about all my friends going off to college and how I just wanted to give them each like a couple hundred bucks to get started with because I had lawn money and I always had money from an early age and I so thankful for that because it gave me a perspective when most people are like, oh, I wish I could buy this CD for 15, 20 bucks. I never.
Once until college was ever worried about money.
And I wish I would. I wish I would have not listened to some certain people.
Because that did change in college and after the fact and it took a lot to return it back around.
Like over a decade.
But.
Maybe it was for a reason. So I can be relatable and know both sides of the coin. And I'm not saying one is better than the other.
But there's certain things I look back in life.
When did this change? When did that change? When did this change? And it's, and it's all. It just feels like it just keeps coming to a finer and finer point to just slice through all the bs. And.
No matter what.
You'Re never alone with God. When you know Jesus, you can get through anything. And if you're having a good day, good week, bad day, bad week.
Good.
Because this too shall pass.
And I hope you're on top of the world. I really do.
It's like all I strive for.
Finding ways to help other people and do things. Maybe I should take a little bit of that and help myself more.
But I don't want bad for anyone and I don't like seeing it and it seems like sometimes I just have to shut myself in the studio and.
Look forward to because there's just a lot of sadness out there. And.
Personally I think it's hard at times with Jesus. I don't know. Well, I'd say I don't know how some people get through it without. The sad thing is they don't get through it without they're trying it on their own. And that's why it might not be working so well.
So I know my show is geared around publishing and entrepreneurship and the likelihood that you're starting off and you're young is probably slim. But if you are, I'm glad you found it. And I wish I had something like this when I was in high school. It wasn't till right after I started this new track just with business and self help.
So I guess my message should be, you already have a successful business, you're already an adult.
What are you really doing to pay it forward and help other people and share your message?
I'm glad you're well off, but none of us are making it out alive. What are you doing to leave a legacy? What does that look like?
And I've said it before.
And it might be because of this.
But if this is the last book I ever wrote, I'd be very happy.
Because it's my best. There's other ones.
And I really think there's enough out there between the show, the book and everything that.
Even at the young age I am for the next 50, 100, 200 plus years, I'd be very happy with the work I did already. And I'm just getting started.
And sometimes I beat myself up because.
It never goes as fast as I want because I wanted it 15, 20 years ago so I could help more people like you.
But it's working and I'm telling you to give it another day and don't do it alone.
So if you are doing it alone, no matter what age you are.
Excuse me, is this one I just had?
If you are doing it alone or trying to, or at least you feel like you're alone, I'm telling you, you're not. And.
If you've never asked for Jesus in your life, just ask now. Say, lord, I repent. I want to be blood born again, blood washed, blood bought. Come into my life.
I want to make you my Lord and Savior.
And the last time I did that, it took me two days of writing the script because I was trying to nail everything. But that's not how it works. You can't be good enough.
You can't do enough for the right things. You can't make enough money. You can't buy your way out. No one on earth can give it to you. There's nothing you can do. All you can do is receive the gift.
I hope you do.
It's awesome.
And I'm really excited, even if I'm not showing it right now.
There's so much good going on, and I just feel like.
I'm going slow. I almost didn't do this, and then I thought of you.
So if this did help, please let me know, because sometimes I just.
I have no clue. There's a lot I have no clue about. But I've always said the stuff I do get right, I get really right. And I have no doubt this is one of them. One of it. Whatever, Whomever, whoever. I looked that up this week.
Has to do with who's the subject and.
Who'S the object. There's a funny office clip.
But joking aside.
I don't know.
Life's weird. Sometimes it's great. Others capture the good, minimize the bad. But either way, do it with Jesus. That's what I got for you today.
