What's your fantasy? Turn any fantasy into a reality with a female-led relationship. My books and coaching have helped thousands of couples find passion beyond their wildest dreams.
I had two lovely parents growing up, but honestly, my mother ran the household. My father obeyed her every command. Only now, at age 20, do I understand the matriarchal family system where the mother leads the household. For me, growing up as a "princess" was normal, but now I know it challenged traditional gender roles. Not all girls see themselves as princesses, and I feel bad for them. I think I will always view myself as the princess who grew up to be a queen. In my family, our mother was always the primary decision-maker. My brother, two sisters, and I followed her guidance, while still acknowledging that roles may have been different for some of my friends in their male-led family dynamics. I do remember seeing a copy of Marisa Rudder's book, "Mommy's in Charge: How to Raise Kids in a Female-Led Family," lying around the house growing up. I think living in my parents' wife-led marriage created a realm of consciousness for me. The way I saw it, it's normal and right for women to lead relationships. My mother led the parenting and empowered the children and familial harmony. Yes, my sisters and I led the way, and my brother was taught to respect us and our mother. I realize now my father was devotedly submissive to my mother. He embraced the transformative essence of a female-led household. And really, our whole family was on a remarkable feminine journey. My mother always nurtured confident, compassionate, and empowered children. My brother was empowered as well, but he was empowered to be a devoted, loving brother who watched out for and cared for his sisters and mother. He played sports and did everything like his friends, but he was always very respectful toward all females. I suppose my family dared to challenge societal norms by embracing a conscious approach to female-led parenting. From my personal experience, it created a nurturing and enriching home environment where children can thrive. By prioritizing love, support, and open communication, my mother fostered strong bonds with us while instilling values of respect, empathy, and independence. Sure, my sisters and I were all princesses and held a special place in our family, but what is wrong with that? My brother got to be our protective knight in shining armor. He always watched out for us even though we were very capable of taking care of ourselves. We were all happy. I believe my childhood journey of conscious female-led parenting and living in a wife-led household empowers mothers to create loving, supportive, and inclusive spaces where children can grow and flourish.
