In this brief first‑person video, the speaker recounts receiving a humorous birthday card from his wife and children that riffs on the TV character Phil Dunphy from Modern Family. He reads several of the card’s playful lines—"I'm a ham, I surf the web, I text, LOL…WTF, why the face?"—and comments that the card is both funny and nice, highlighting the family’s affection and the speaker’s self‑comparison to the sitcom character.

So for this year's birthday, the wife and kids decided to get me a funny card. And we're big fans of Modern Family, and of course that's Phil Dunphy there. And my wife tends to think that I have a lot of similarities to Phil. Funny thing is, when you open this card, I'm a ham, I surf the web, I text, LOL, haha, OMG, oh my god, WTF, why the face? Why the face? Yeah, that's pretty funny. Nice card.
