In this short demo, the presenter showcases a 3D Lifestream homepage built with Drupal and Papervision. He walks through the main navigation controls: the 'H' key returns to the home view, zooming in and out is possible from the dashboard, and the HV control changes the pivot point, allowing rotation of the 3D stream. The visualization currently displays tweets and Delicious items, but lacks hyperlinking to external sites and does not include photos or video streams, with noted issues handling YouTube videos. The speaker highlights the ability to rotate, click through items, and navigate the 3D space, concluding that while the visualization is impressive, it has notable content and interaction limitations.

So here's the 3D Lifestream. This is the homepage. You've got a couple navigation controls here. If you click on the H— actually, you'll see if I start zooming through it and you click on the H, it'll take you back home. You can also zoom in and out from the dashboard. And I'll show you the HV in a second, but you know, you can navigate through here, which is really cool. It's just, you know, you can basically go to all these different tweets in 3D. And then here we see Delicious, although I don't see how to hyperlink outside of here. So it's kind of a bummer. It'd be cool if it opened in a new window if you clicked on something. But still you can see the navigation. Go back to H, you see it takes us back home. Unfortunately, all we see is tweets and Delicious. It'd be cool if he had some photos or video stream data here, although he does mention issues with YouTube videos. Lastly on this, if you click on the HV, it looks like it changes like the pivot access of what you're doing through the stream. So you can see that I can, I can basically rotate through here and click around. But overall, this is a pretty cool visualization, 3D visualization of a livestream. So hopefully you guys enjoyed this quick little demo.
