30 Oct 2021 · 4 min
Mark Simpson’s Boostly podcast episode compares two hospitality-industry services, Guardhog and Superhog, clarifying that Superhog provides guest screening and prevention (stopping unauthorized parties and risky bookings) while Guardhog offers protection/insurance. The host endorses Superhog as a global prevention tool, urges listeners to book a demo, and notes this is an unpaid recommendation.

Welcome back, everybody, to another episode of the Boostly podcast. My name is Mark Simpson and I give hosts just like you the tools, the tactics of training, and the confidence to get more bookings. And confidence is a big part of what today's podcast is all about. I want to break down for you the difference between two companies that have definitely come on the radar this year and one that you need to know about. So we have got, in one corner we have got Guardhog, and in the other corner we have got Superhawk. Now, it could be very confusing when you first hear the names and see the branding to think that they are the same companies, but they are under the same umbrella, but they do two very different things. So let me just show my screen so you will know what I am talking about. We have got, in the left, we've got Guard Hog, and then on the right, we have got Super Hog. Now, the best way to describe Super Hog and Guard Hog is that Super Hog is the prevention. The prevention is sometimes better than the protection. Okay? Now, what Super Hog does is that when you have a booking, there is a guest screening process that will happen all through the technology and the API that Super Super Hog have. Have created. One of the main reasons why this is so important is that when you have a guest book with you, you, especially when it comes from an ota, you haven't got a clue if that person is going to be the person that's coming to stay. Now, what is. What has happened massively over the last year with lockdowns, with restrictions, with nightclubs not being open, is that people are booking. Airbnb is. They're booking apartments, they're booking basically properties and having massive parties in them. Now, a lot of you will have systems and structures and things in place to prevent this, but a lot of you don't. And this is where Super Hog came in. And this is. This is why it's such an important and powerful platform. And this is why I absolutely love it. And I've been really raving about it. And I've been very fortunate over the last couple of months to get to know the team even better. And I wanted to do this little shout out to him. I wanted to, just to spread the awareness, because I know podcasts like this always go down really well. So yesterday depends on when you listen to this podcast. But the podcast before this one, I talked about the best insurance, which is obviously, Guard Hog is the. Is the protection. This is the prevention. This is. This is super hog. So super hog.com and again, I Want to stress, this isn't a paid podcast episode, this isn't a sponsor, there's no affiliate link. This is just me giving you a resource to go and check out. Super Hog.com go ahead and book a demo with the team so they can show you exactly how it works. But it will give you such peace of mind, such confidence, particularly if you have had issues in the past. Whether you're a city center property or whether you have had problems wherever you are in the world, please do check them out. Now don't think that this is just a UK brand, this is a worldwide brand and they are more than happy to have a conversation with you. Doesn't matter where you are in the world. So the main difference between Guard Hog and Super Hog. Super Hog is, is the, is the prevention and Guard Hog is the pre protection. So do go check them out. Please do reach out to them directly if you have any questions. But this is my, this is my go to, this is my recommendation. I'm recording this video because I get asked this question so many times is who's that hog company you keep talking about on Clubhouse? This is the one. So as always, my name is Mark Simpson. As always. This is the Boostly podcast and very soon we are going to be approaching our 400, 400, 400th episode. I've got something hopefully special planned and who knows, very shortly I should be in a new office. Fingers crossed. So I'm looking forward to turning this into something even more professional and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you soon. Thank you for tuning in to the number one rated hospitality podcast. Let's stay proactive, don't be reactive. Let's go and boost and get some direct bookings. Bye bye.
