Welcome back everybody. So I've got a little treat for you today. Recently I did a little bit of training all about 10 different ways how you can get ready for the slow season. And I thought, well, what better to do than to chop these tips up and share it into the daily podcast because they are so actionable and things that you can be doing right now in today's episode is a little segment of that. Now, depending on what you're listening to, you can go back or go forward to find out the episode that suits you best. But this is all me helping you about bookings in the slow season. So make sure you've got a pen and paper to hand and get ready to take action. Who is your slow season shoulder season avatar? So here's a question for you, for those of you that have been doing this for more than one season, those have been doing it for more than one year, do you have a guest profile? Do you have a typical guest that books with you in the slow season? So this is really key and if you don't know who, when I say avatar, when I say customer avatar, that's just fancy market talk for your guest profile. So again, and this is key, and I've spoken about this so many times and other fantastic people have spoken about this so many times, is you've got to have a niche, you've got to have an avatar, you've got to have a guest profile. Because if you try and appeal to everybody, you appeal to nobody. So by now you will know that Hostfully is the proud, exclusive sponsor of this award winning podcast. And I've told you about their great software solutions. But one thing that has really impressed me is of their customer satisfaction survey. So I did a little digging around and I could see that the Overall popularity is 90 to 94%, which is very good, which is very high for a software platform out there today. So if you are a host and you need a little bit of help and guidance getting onboarded and, and running your short term rental business and you want to go to an award winning platform, go check out hostfully.com h o s t f u l l y.com make sure that you tell them that Boostly sent you. And massive thank you from me to all of the team for being being such an amazing sponsor of the Boostly podcast. Let's get back on with the show, eh? Particularly now when Airbnb or Short term rental or hospitality, whatever you want to call it, is becoming more and more popular. More and more people are getting into it you've got to have a set guest in mind, and particularly when it comes to the slow season. And there's going to be more availability popping up. That's going to mean that there are more people to choose from. If you can speak directly to your ideal guest, then you're more likely to get the booking. Again, you've only got a limited supply. You're not Amazon. You've only got a limited supply of properties to sell or rooms to sell. So don't try and appeal to everybody. Focus on your niche, your avatar, guest profile, whatever you want to call it.
