Let's say I wanted to create a branch and directly check out with it with git checkout b feature slash my branch and then I wanted to push it upstream with git push you will notice that I get an error. What I usually always do is copy and paste this line and run it to push it upstream. But there's an easier way. You will see that there is a note here that references push auto setup remote and we can set this config value to automatically push branches upstream. We can do this by typing git config dash dash global to apply the change globally and then dash dash add dash dash bool and then we will set this value push dot auto setup remote and then we will set it equal to true. Now after we create a branch we could just type git push and it'll automatically deploy at the appropriate branch. This will save you a little bit of time and prevent you from needing to copy and paste that line every time you create a new git branch.
